Spiritual Poems 1
This poem spans from my birth, through backsliden years to the present and into eternity!
WELCOME TO THE WORLD THIS EMPTY SOUL,
OPEN TO DARKNESS AND UNQUENCHABLE ANGUISH.
AND HERE IS ALL CONFUSION TO FILL THE HOLE!
FOR IT IS YOURS BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL TO DISTINGUISH.
WITH YEARS OF DECEPTIVE WORDS TO DRIVE YOU DEEPER,
UNTIL YOU DECIDE THE WAY YOU WILL WALK.
FROM THE BEGINNING YOUR SPIRIT HAS BEEN THE SLEEPER.
NOW HEAR, OH MAN, THE VOICE WITHIN YOUR HEART THAT DOES TALK!
OUT OF YOUR SELFISH DESIRES COMES ONLY DESPAIR,
AS YOU STRUGGLE THROUGH THE SHADOWS OF DOUBT!
BUT THE CALLING HAS ALWAYS BEEN HERE TO BRING ABOUT SPIRITUAL REPAIR,
ALLOWING THE HOPE OF THE AGES TO ABUNDANTLY COME FLOWING OUT.
YET TO YOUR SHAME; YOU FALL AGAIN AND AGAIN INTO THE WAYS OF DEATH,
JUST AS THE BLIND WILL SURELY FALL INTO A PIT!
IN YOUR HYPOCRICIES YOU ARE LIVING A LIE WITH EVERY BREATH,
TRYING TO BELONG WHERE YOU JUST DON'T FIT!
TAKE HOLD FOREVER THE WAY OF YOUR SALVATION AND BE STRONG,
NEVER TO LOOK BACK AT THE USELESS STRUGGLES IN YOUR MIND!
BE ASSURED AND STEADFAST THAT IT IS IN CHRIST WHERE YOU BELONG,
WALKING IN SPIRIT; ALL EVIL TO BIND!
KEEPING YOUR EYES TOWARD THE HEAVENS AND OBSERVE WHAT IS THERE;
IT IS HOPE FOR ALL CREATION AND LIFE ANEW!
THE BLESSED RETURN OF CHRIST IN THE AIR,
A WEDDING FEAST FOR A CHOSEN FEW.
THEN COMES THE END OF ALL SUFFERING AND PAIN,
THIS UNWORTHY VESSEL TRANSFORMED INTO GLORY!
AN ETERNITY IN CHRIST TO GAIN!
SO LISTEN, OH MAN, TO YOUR HEART IN THIS STORY,
AND KNOW THE PEACE THAT IS EVERMORE!
NEVER AGAIN TO SHUT UP THE DOOR!

Hope for today, hope for tomorrow, hope for forever!
Calling , calling to the One that hears my tears!
It is He who has carried me through all these years,
Bringing me always onward forever and ever!
I look no other way!
Never to turn away!
It is here I will stay!
To Him do I pray!
When I see the world and my heart sinks very low,
I find assurance in the words of Life!
Knowing full well that He will end all strife!
And the Spirit of Life will forever flow!
I will look no other way!
For I started out as clay!
My sins He took away!
I am risen in Him each day!
And when the world is at the brink,
When mankind is bloated in its sin,
Satan thinking he will win,
I know in Christ I will never sink!
I will look no other way!
For the spirit no man can slay!
And His words of Life will never pass away!
Listen what the Spirit has to say!
The time is soon; we must prepare!
To be full-grown in all our deeds!
Giving to each man's spiritual needs!
Here comes our Lord's triumphant return in the air!
I will look no other way!
His voice I will obey!
Praises and glory to Him alway!
Oh Lord Jesus; there is no other way!

His living word is etched into my heart!
In my hunger for the truth I have consumed every part!
No longer decieved by the mere black and white,
By His word my eyes are opened by all that is right!
"In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God!"
And to all my delight, "The Word is God!"
Also to my joy, "The Word became flesh!"
How glorious that Divinity and humanity did mesh!
So forever I will sing the wonders of His Word!
And in faith I will walk in the ways I have heard!
If I should stumble and fall; or 'God forbid' sin,
I will call on the life-giving Spirit that dwells within!
It is there by His word forgiveness will be found!
And everlasting grace and mercies abound!
In Him I will trust and His words I'll always speak!
Bringing truth and light to all who may seek!
I will worship Him for all His mercies He has shown!
Even past the Day of the Lord when the last trump is blown!
Into eternity I will shout forth the glories I have heard!
For salvation was found in the wonders of His Word!

Into Christ I will journey onward!
Singing praises moving forward!
My heart and soul are slaves to His love!
Always thankful for His grace and mercy from above!
Jesus brings joy unspeakable to a past of saddness!
Lifting me higher to an everlasting gladdness!
His life came to dwell within my spirit!
His word brought life when I did hear it!
Then to my mind He gave divine wisdom!
Including the full knowledge of His heavenly kingdom!
One day I shall forget all my human flaws!
Recieving a glorified body when He calls!
What glory, what joy to be found in Him!
Never again to be bound by sin!
Overflowing in Spirit and Light!
Never again to be lost in the darkness of night!
Jesus! Jesus is the name I call!
Praying always He will be known and worshipped by all!

The Lord has brought me to a place of assurance,
whereby in Him I have found full deliverance!
It is here that I have found true hope,
even when I thought to be at the end of my rope!
When all seemed so bleek and dark,
He spoke to my heart and I did hark!
I humbled myself before Him and laid myself waste,
I called to Him with flowing tears "Please enter my spirit with haste!"
And faithful are His ways,
when one who seeks Him prays!
Now I am found in His mercies and grace!
Never again to leave this place!
I walk each day seeking His righteous wisdom,
knowing full well that I am added to His holy kingdom!
Being transformed from the inside out,
all His glory and honor I do shout!
For I also know that I was not worthy of this gift,
yet Christ in His mercy; my soul did lift!
When I come to fellowship with the saints in love,
we sing His praises and consider the things from above!
Though I may be weak at times to argue His ways,
the Sprit convicts me of what the Word says;
Admonish one another with a psalm, a spiritual song, and a hymn,
doing all in the name of Jesus; giving thanks to God the Father through Him!
So if I should stray from the wisdom of Christ's way,
it is forgiveness from the saints to which I pray!
For the Father knows all that is within my heart,
that in 'myself' I will stumble from the start.
But if I walk in the spirit and serve all in gladness,
I will avoid being a stumblingblock and all its saddness!
Once again I find myself humbled before my Savior!
Not depending on my human behavior!
But calling on Jesus at every time!
With full assurance He will guide me in my heavenly climb!
Till one day He shall call me to meet in the air,
and never again shall I know the feelings of despair!!

All my life I have been in awe and respect of the granduer of creation!
Such beauty and majesty deserves the fullness of salutation!
Yet beyond that there is greater honor and glory deserved,
for the plan of the Creator is that all good things be conserved!
Surely all of creation is held together by the Lord in consonance!
Therefore my praises to Him are continued forever in vocal resonance!
O what joy that I am blessed to view all the work of His magnificence!
And when I am out in the fulness of the wild I experience Him with an even greater sense!
For I have climbed His glorious mountains where a man can nearly touch the star-lit sky!
It is there where my desires were strongest to dwell with Him on high!
With the purest winds blowing and whistling through the valleys and over the trees,
fresh clean rivers flowing to quench the earth and offering a man to drink all that he may please!
But the mysteries of my Lord and Savior are greater than it all,
for creation is only a fraction of its beauty due to the fall!
The grace and mercies of our God in Christ surpass far above!
He has brought us out of the fall with His purest love!
By His precious blood we are brought to stand with Him at the Father's side!
Walking in the Spirit and Divine wisdom we hold Jesus as our pride!
Now the worthy Sculpter has formed us into vessels of honor for His holy ways!
He has filled us with the living Spirit causing us to sing with joyous praise!
For we touch the heavens when we recieve the Father's Son!
Knowing full well that He is the only worthy One!
Abiding in Him we are filled with His Spirit and the Spirit flows out!
Forever He is our Savior and Lord; forever our praises for Him we will shout!

Though I may often fall short of Your glory dear Lord,
I pray among the saints there may be no more discord!
For I know that we express little of Your glory in our disputes!
Now this is heavy on my heart in all my reputes!
So my petition is that we may all speak as one,
that we may continuosly give glory to Your loving Son!
It is You that should always be lifted up above all!
For that is surely the message of our holy call!
Not to speak with a spirit of divisivness,
but rather a heart of love and forgiveness,
and precious words of admonishment!
In my lack of this I do fully repent!
Dear Jesus I pray You will bind my stubborness,
that in all my life and speech it is You I profess!
My desire is to deny even the willfulness of my mind,
so the rest of my life may only expresses You to all mankind!
My concern is that the Body be built up in one Spirit!
For the all saints both great and small as one in You to submit!
Because without You as the speaking One within us we are still just as lost!
O how our minds must drop all differences to praise and worship You at any cost!
I pray that the Spirit may not be grieved!
All saints overflowing in the grace we recieved!
A glorious testimony to our living and moving God!
The pillar and base of the truth with a righteous facade!
Filled with the lifegiving Spirit!
That the truth may be known to all who hear it!
Hastening the return of our precious Lord!
Taking the Word as a spiritual sword!
Defeating the enemy in his divisive lies!
Claiming crowns of glory as our final prize!

I see myself as least in the kingdom of Your glory.
For surely this one is not worthy of the Lord's propitiatory!
All my life I have been so unsteady in my walk with You!
So often I have turned my eyes from Your glorious view.
Sometimes it seems I have committed every sin but to kill.
And in stubborness I have followed after my own will!
Yet through it all You have held me as one of Your children.
Calling me back in forgiveness again and again!
Bringing back into remembrance the day I tasted sweet salvation,
With the first words of my true conviction:
"That Thou art my all in all,
and without You I shall surely fall!"
In my heart and mind I know without You life is so very empty,
And my soul wanders through life as a lost refugee!
Until once again I find myself prostrate at the foot of the cross,
Where Your precious blood covers my soul and upon my heart Your grace does emboss!
That I may become a worthy vessel unto honor,
Completing the rest of my days in the good race as a tireless marathonor!
Yes, though I am not deserving of Your mercies,
When I hold the faith it is Christ the Father sees!
And my life is filled with the enjoyment of Jesus!
With fellowship of the saints there is Christ's glorious presence among us!
Praising in one Spirit the glory of His name!
Praying unceasingly; His purpose and will we forever proclaim!

O Lord Jesus!
Be with us!
For often I find myself a broken and defeated man!
Straying so far from God's most glorious plan!
Yet hope is never forgotten,
For Christ remains within!
Therewith the way to overcome!
In the Spirit my will to succumb!
Walking in full humility!
That the life of Jesus is all people shall see!
No longer to live in deception and myope!
Knowing full well the center of all hope!

"Yes, of course!", the Lord's reply.
"Life and light, is my request."
The Spirit says, "I will give you rest!"
"I need You Lord as enjoyment in life!"
Christ smiles to say, "I will end all strife!"
"Lord I pray Your soon return!"
This is all my heart does yearn!

even though, i am called to sing forth Your praises!
Your strength carries me to the prize of full Salvation!
You have touched our hearts since before all of creation.
How we praise You for the precious blood You shed,
this blood You shed in our instead!
Oh! how i am humbled before Your glory!!
even until the last breath has given it's last story.
For only YOU are above all things in LIFE!!
YOU are enjoyment to me whether in happiness or strife,
For YOU alone are the faithful ONE dear LORD!
i call out to YOU in SPIRIT and YOU hear every word!
And YOUR answers are true,
Each day through and through!
Though man may doubt all that is written by Your all-inspiring LOVE,
i shall forever forth keep my eyes on the glory from above!!
And now we turn everyday unto the truth and reality that is in YOU,
Giving full expression of Christ in all we do!!
For no other name can mean more to us?
None but Sweet JESUS!!

When will I be righteous dear Lord?
"Never my child, that is for Jesus!"
When will my faith grow strong and sound?
"Never my child, I have ONE faithful servant!"
When will I do all that is worthy of Your name?
"Never my child, but there is hope in that name!"
"For Christ has come to cover your sins!"
"Call on His name and you will be filled with the living Spirit!"
"Then you will be one with us into eternity!"
"Forever you will be righteous in Jesus!!"
"Forever your faith will be grounded in Jesus!!"
"Forever you will express the glory of the name of Jesus!!
All praise and honor and glory are Yours sweet Jesus,
forever and ever. Amen

Calling, calling on His glorious name!
If found doing so we shall never be put to shame!
For there is life in calling on JESUS!
What do I see when I look deep within,
the soul of a defeated man longing not to sin.
This human weakness needs to be overcome.
For it is so easy to succumb.
An acient word gives hope of Salvation.
It speaks of living in spirit to every nation!
Walking in Christ in our daily living that others may see the glory of our Savior.
Only He is the worthy Overcomer standing as Advocate to our selfish behavior.
What I have is not for me, it is returned to God in worship and praise overflowing to all mankind in their need.
The time to help is passing swiftly; pray "God's speed!"
Give a prayer, give a hand, give a drink,
Share your bread, share your blessings!
Walk in spirit every moment to express Christ in all your crossings!
Express the ONE above!
The center of all LOVE!
He has brought us joy and peace.
A River of Life that will never cease.
Here is where we have the fortaste,
let us be joined and built up as one; make haste!
For there is life in calling on JESUS!

Call on that precious name!
That everlasting name!
Call out in every way!
Call on Him night and day!
Call Him "Lord of all!"
Make Him the focus of your call!
Call "Lord Jesus!" till His return!
In calling let your spirit burn.
Call to Him in season and out.
In a whisper or a joyous shout.
With a tear or a mourning heart.
Call on Him each day from the start!
Then all
shall know the glory in the name you call!

What is it that grieves my spirit today?
It is most certainly that man does not see God's way!
He does not take to heart the glory God's words say.
Oh how ferverently we must pray,
That all may overcome the world's decay.
Beware the antichrist system that is underway!
And death and darkness are his fiance.
Truth and light he does cast away.
So Christians stand strong in our spiritual melee!
Always be assured that Jesus is our mainstay!
Call on Him continually that there be no dismay!
Come together in His glorious Spirit to stay!
Encourage each other that our faith may not sway!
Be one in Him that His living Spirit may always convey!
Express only Christ in all you do day-to-day!
Listen always to what the Sprit has to say!
Let this be our only way!

I come confessing of all my sin,
That the blood of Jesus might cleanse me within.
For too often I am held back.
Ashamed of my spiritual lack!
Yet His Word promises to be true,
That my spirit will be made anew!
In Christ I am being transformed,
And my daily walk is being reformed.
O Lord that I may always abide,
Removing all darkness that is deep inside.
Lord may You be the One to fill me,
So when others look it is You they see!
For I know that I am nothing,
Capable of no righteous thing!
It is Your LIFE in me that brings hope,
That in these darkest of days I may cope!
So I tell you all that my sin is real!
My sins God's righteousness does reveal!
Here lies my most damaging sin,
When every moment I am not found in Him!
Lord that I might be humbled evermore!
Let Your Spirit fill me and then outpour!
I pray for me to become less and less.
this is what I sincerely confess.
I would rather poeple not remember me,
But in their memories it is You they see!
For I am just a recovering sinner,
Enjoying Christ in me as the only winner!

The divine glories of God are open to all those who seek.
As we abide our Lord is faithful to unveil His mystique.
No longer does He hide His purpose and desire.
His promise to reveal His will in the last days proves He is no liar.
For now young men see the full vision of His righteous ways,
And older men dream the full knowledge of what His living Word says.
His blessings are being poured out!
His praises are heard world-wide in a united shout!
The Body enjoys the indwelling Spirit,
And the facade is being removed from the hypocrite!
His children speak forth His truth and are bold.
The love of Jesus is flowing out from His sheepfold!
For today our spirits are required of us,
And we continue to go on in Hime pleaing His blood so precious.
That we may be washed of all our sin,
Abiding in christ as the life-giving Spirit grows and dwells within!

O Lord how I praise Thee for Thy mercy and grace.
You gave me Your love though I am unwirthy and so full of disgrace.
You lifted me out of the pit of my self-destruction.
Any you released me from sins's abduction.
You removed my blindness and have shone forth the way,
And You promised me that within my spirit You will always stay!
For I was residing in death.
Never knowing the sweetness of Your life-giving breath.
My mind was filled with deciet and all distractions of the world.
Yet You set me at Your table where a feast is unfurled.
You fed me with Your living Word,
And told me mysteries I have never heard.
By Your grace You brought life into my dead spirit.
You spoke truth to my heart and nothing did You omit!
And as long as I abide ,sweet Lord, in You;
You bring me hope to live in Jesus eternally and constantly my mind renew!

Hey!
I know I'm not worthy of His love.
I know that too often I fall short.
I know that I look more at me than to the things above.
I know that I would fail miserably in His court.
I know the darkness in my life.
I know my hypocracies in my walk.
I know that I cause others strife.
I know I don't always honor Him in my talk.
I know I don't give enough when I could.
I know all my sins and so I cry.
I know I don't pray as oft I should.
I know I deserve to die.
Yet He still died for me,
And He became Life to me!
Now He dwells in me,
Always gaining more in me!
So please Lord forgive me,
And let Your Salvation cover me...
That I may always walk in YOU!
Ever speaking forth the glory of YOU!
In all I do expressing YOU!
Filled with eternal praises for YOU!
Having but one joy in life; that is YOU...
And only YOU!!

We come together into the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus.
Mingled together into the living Spirit that dwells within us.
We stand as one in the praise and workship of Christ our first love.
Focusing only on the things in heaven above.
Praying for the edification of the ressurected Body.
Revealing to each other the life of the One we embody.
Keep the way open to receive God's dispensing to the finish.
Let us be those who allow the flow of His Spirit that it may never diminish.
Let us not be caught in the deceptions of too many words or divisive thought.
For it is not a battle of "good and evil" or "who is right or wrong" to be fought.
Rather, it is to take Christ as "the tree of life" to overcome darkness and death.
It is by the move of the Spirit and the power of life in His breath!
Now we are called together to express this very Christ!
To be built to gether in Him in our holy tryst!

O LORD, HOW FITTING A DEFINITION! WE ARE THOSE APPOINTED AND JOINED TOGETHER IN OUR MEETEINGS WITH OUR FIRST LOVE, JESUS CHRIST. ALLELUIA!
To say there is no God is to say man has no spirit.
This is the innermost part placed to receive the living Breath when we hear it!
And to deny the reality in Jesus is to refuse the very life of the Father in His purpose!
Even though we are not even worthy of His surplus...
He stills gives freely the way to life everlasting to all who may call.
He died and shed His precious blood that He might save the great and the small!
I for one am least in this glorious kingdom of the living God within us.
I am but an empty vessel without the indwelling Sprit of God in Jesus!
O what a joy that we all may experience this living way!
Walking in Spirit as we abide in all that He will say!
Consumming the Living Word and drinking from the everlasting flow of His waters of LIFE.
Pray unceasingly for this organic union which is the way of true-LIFE!
All else is void and wast entering into the darkness of death.
Take the Spirit; make your joy in life His very BREATH.

The old man has been brought down.
An end has come to his renown.
No longer will his sins compile.
He will not be dependant upon his guile.
His flesh has come to nought.
Banished are the worldly desires he sought.
Destructhion is no longer the master of his heart.
Broken down is is self made rampart!
All the evil within is now exposed,
Laid bare before the very God he opposed!
An end has come to his dark words of his rancid breath.
For now he has passed through death!
Now his spirit shouts forth in joy!
And he stands as God's viceroy!
This is so because he is buried in Christ!!
No longer found in the spirit of antichrist!
He has been raised up in ressurection life!
Within can be found the living Spirit in daily rife!
Now he walks in the Divine!
Grafted into the living Vine!
Oh what a glory to be a member of Christ's Body!
Outpouring and expressing Jesus to everybody!
Salvation dwells in him as the life-giving Spirit!
The life and light of God is all he will emit!
He is now a new man!
Joined in God's glorious plan!
Brought up out of death into life!
Now into eternity found in true-life!

Let my headstone read:
"It's ok if you don't remember me,
as long as you remember Christ in me!"
When I walked in the world I walked in darkness,
and the ways of the self were all I did express.
My path was open to the ways of evil,
and sin reigned with great upheaval.
Then I heard the voice of God,
and I became aware of the way I trod.
And He brought love and life to my heart.
A new way to walk He did impart.
No longer to seek selfish gain.
For we are called to live by the one who was slain.
It is now His life-giving Spirit I seek,
as I continue in His ways as one who is meek.
O Lord may I be one who is completely emptied,
That Your life fill me up is what I plead.
Now the road is cleared before me,
And the glory of God is clear to see!
We are called to walk in Him,
no longer following after every worldly whim.
It is His love that leads us on,
and the Holy Spirit is what we don.
Life in Him is so sublime,
Let us always remain in Him on our heavenly climb.
For by His Spirit we have hope,
Keeping Jesus as our spiritual scope.
So walk in spirit, yea even run,
Trusting always in God's only begotten Son!
