*Everlasting Life via JOHN ?*

Scripture says 'YES' ~&~ Scripture says 'NO'

All Scripture quotations are from the New World Translation, or from The Kingdom Interlinear Translation.
It's intriguing that in 1,696 pages, Aid to Bible Understanding does NOT have an article
titled "Eternal Life" or "Everlasting Life" (aionios = everlasting & found 71x in NT).
Aid does have an extensive article titled "Life" (p. 1,061-1,066)
but it DOESN'T provide the reader with the following vital & eternal concepts.

*E-LIFE* *via JOHN ? --* *YES* !
In the Bible...	GOD promises that IF you BELIEVE in JESUS CHRIST :
Jn. 1:12	- you receive the *authority to become God's child*
Jn 3:15	- you *may have* *everlasting* *life*
Jn. 3:16	- you will *NOT be destroyed* (by death)
Jn. 3:16	- you *have* *everlasting* *life*
Jn. 3:36	- you have *everlasting* *life*
Jn. 5:24	- you have *everlasting* *life*
Jn. 5:24	- you do *NOT come into judgment*
Jn. 5:24	- you have *passed over from death to life*
Jn. 6:40	- you *may have* *everlasting* *life*
Jn. 6:40	- you will be resurrected *at the last day*
Jn. 6:47	- you have *everlasting* *life*
Jn. 8:24	- you will NOT *die in your sins*
Jn. 10:28	- you receive *everlasting* *life* from Jesus Christ
Jn. 10:28	- you will NEVER *by no means ever be destroyed*
Jn. 10:28	- you will NEVER be snatched *out of* Jesus Christ's *hand*
Jn. 10:29	- you will NEVER be snatched *out of the hand of The Father*
Jn. 11:25	- even though you die, you *will come to life*
Jn. 11:26	- you *will never die* ( in hell ) *at all*
Jn. 12:36	- you will *become sons* (& daughters) *of light*
Jn. 16:27	- you will know *The Father Himself has affection for you*
Jn. 20:28	- you will know *my LORD & my GOD*
Jn. 20:31	- you will know *that Jesus is The Christ The Son of God* *(not the angel Michael* or Abaddon)**
Jn. 20:31	- *because of believing* (in HIM), *YOU may have life IN HIS NAME*
1Jn. 5:13	- you will see *I write you these things that you may* *KNOW* *that YOU have Life* *EVERLASTING*

*E-LIFE* *via John ? --* NO !
In the Bible	SCRIPTURE states that E-Life only comes via JESUS CHRIST (not John, or who/whatever).
Acts 4:10,12	*IN the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST... THERE IS NO SALVATION IN ANYONE ELSE*, for *THERE IS NOT ANOTHER NAME* under heaven that has been given among men by which *WE MUST GET SAVED*.
1Tim.2:5	*For there is one God, & ONE MEDIATOR between God & men, a man CHRIST JESUS*
Rom.10:9	*For IF YOU publicly DECLARE that 'word in your own mouth,' THAT JESUS IS LORD, & exercise faith in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED.*
1Thes.5:9	*God assigned us, NOT to wrath, but to the ACQUIRING of SALVATION THROUGH our LORD JESUS CHRIST.*
2Tim.2:10	*... obtain the SALVATION that is IN CHRIST JESUS*
Heb.5:9	*HE became responsible for* ( literally the *ONE CAUSING* ) *EVERLASTING* *SALVATION to all those obeying Him*
Acts 16:30,31	*"Sirs, what MUST I DO to get saved?" They said: "BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS & YOU WILL GET SAVED..."*
Rom.5:1	Therefore, now that we have been declared righteous as a result of faith, let us enjoy PEACE WITH GOD THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, THROUGH WHOM also we have gained our approach by faith INTO this undeserved kindness IN WHICH WE NOW STAND...
Rom.8:1	*Therefore THOSE IN CHRIST JESUS have NO CONDEMNATION*
Rom.8:2	*For the law of the spirit of LIFE IN CHRIST FREED YOU from the law of sin & of death.*
Jn. 3:14-18	*so the SON of MAN must be lifted up, that EVERYONE believing IN HIM may have* *everlasting* *life. "For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that EVERYONE exercising faith IN HIM might not be destroyed but have* *everlasting* life. For God sent forth his Son into the world, not for HIM to judge the world, but for the world to be saved THROUGH HIM. He that exercises faith IN HIM is not to be judged. Jn. 3:36	*He that exercises faith IN THE SON has* *everlasting* *life;* *he that disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.*
1Jn. 5:11	And this is the witness given, that God gave us everlasting life, & *THIS* *LIFE* *IS IN HIS SON*.
1Jn. 5:12	He that *HAS THE SON HAS THIS* *LIFE; he that* *does NOT have* the Son of God *does NOT have* this life.
1Jn. 5:13	I write you these things that *you may* *KNOW* *that you have LIFE* *EVERLASTING*, you who put your faith *IN THE NAME OF THE SON OF GOD*.
Many other Scriptures could be added to show that EVERLASTING, ETERNAL LIFE is found IN CHRIST !
Jn. 20:31	But these things have been written down that you may believe that *JESUS* is the Christ the Son of God, & that, BECAUSE OF BELIEVING, *YOU MAY HAVE* *LIFE* *IN HIS NAME*.
Jn. 14:6	*JESUS said to him:* *"I AM THE WAY* *& THE TRUTH & THE* *LIFE. NO ONE comes to the Father* *EXCEPT THROUGH ME*."

IT'S YOUR LIFE --- IT'S YOUR CHOICE --- CHOOSE UP (Jn. 14:6), or CHOOSE DOWN.

"come to Jehovah's ORGANIZATION for SALVATION" (The Watchtower, Nov.15/81 p.21)

"Jehovah is using ONLY ONE ORGANIZATION today to accomplish his will. To RECEIVE EVERLASTING LIFE in the earthly Paradise we MUST identify that ORGANIZATION and serve God as part of IT." (The Watchtower, Feb.15/83 p.12)

Compare the above WT quotes with this Scripture.

"Sirs, what MUST I DO to get saved?"
They said: "BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS & YOU WILL GET SAVED..." (Acts 16:30,31)

Not every Scripture applies directly to you & me.
For example, some verses only apply to 144,000 Jewish (Rev.7:1-8) virgins (Rev.14:1-5).

But if the context doesn't EXCLUDE you & me, then the Scripture APPLIES to you & me
because GOD does not desire ANY to be destroyed but desires ALL
to attain to repentance (2Peter 3:9) & everlasting life (Jn.3:16).
