Read the following before making any submissions:

• Please cut and paste submission to an email, or attach the file in either .wps (Microsoft Works) or .wpd (Corel WordPerfect) form.
  
• Please give your real name and what name you wish to have listed as creator of the piece. (This is for those of you who are shy. Being known as simply 'Anonymous' is also exceptable if asked for.)
  
• Please supply a return email address if you would like to recieve any e mail that may be sent in regards to your story.
  
• If submitting photography or any other graphics, please attach them as either '.jpg' or '.gif' files.
  
• Please, also keep in mind that this is not yet a print publication and is currently confined to web. While we are hoping to one day create a Black Midnight anthology and possibly magazine, our financial state does not currently allow that. Submissions will be posted in their proper category giving the author credit for their individual work and will remain posted until such time as the author request it be taken down or the entire site is taken down.
  
• Once work is submitted, it will generally take up to three weeks (or less) for a rersponse. The response will tell you the editors opinion of the work. If we like the work, we will ask for permission to post the story. Once we receive permission, the work will be posted in the appropriate index and an email will be sent out letting you know that the work has been posted.
  
• If we do not feel the work is up to our standards, we will try to be as detailed as possible as to why the work is being rejected and offer as much help and as many suggestions as needed. If you choose to accept this help, you can feel free to re-submit the work. We will work hard with the unpolished authors to help them create the best possible work without demanding any changes and trying to remain as close to the authors original vision of the story.
