Helping Build Better Public Schools

Mission

To be a catalyst in improving the education process and learning environment in Warren County Public Schools via funding projects that:

Are sponsored by the school system, and consistent with its Mission/Direction.
Initiate sustained improvement in the fundamental capability of the school system.
Enhance the attractiveness of the community through the promotion of educational excellence.

So that students of the school system graduate from it with an enhanced ability to lead successful lives.

Guiding Principles

The endowment will invest in the improvement of the educational process and learning environment but not in the physicas assets or salaries of the school system.
The endowment will provide start-up funding. The endowment will not provide sustained funding for projects and not replace the existing funding processes.
The endowment will be a calayst toward improvement by the projects chosen.

With this Mission before us, our task is now to raise money and to award grants. Our stated goal is to raise $1 million. We are optimistic, with community support, we will easily reach our goal.

To raise the money, we anticipate we will be holding many public campaigns. The approach will be via personal contacts, mailings, and events. All donations are a legitimate tax deducation for the donor. The donation can take the form of money, property, estates and even donated time and services in your field. We urge you to look at your corporate and personal budgets, and make use of payroll deduction plans. Remember us in your wills. This is giving that works in your own backyard.

The process of awarding grants will begin as soon as there is a practical sum to disperse. An important point to reiterate is that all donated monies toward the $1 million goal will be forever retained in the investments of the Endowment...only the interest will be granted.

We are very excited that Warren County Educational Endowment is in place and ready to work. We are now ready to receive your tax deductible unrestricted gifts. This is an ideal way to directly influence the acceleration of the many good things happening in our public school system. This is where you CAN make something happen, no matter what size the donation.
