Subject: Re: OH Calling all astrologers!!

Hi All

It's interesting that Leo and Aquarius are two of the least opposite-like opposites I can think of in the Zodiac. Both tend to be friendly outgoing sociable, in some very real sense.

Maybe all of us Leos have the Age of Aquarius sitting on us, but this is where I began to notice that positive signs resemble thier opposites, as well as negative ones quite often, a perplexing riddle about the nature of *astrological energy* itself? And a further answer to the question of harmony.

Pisces and Cancer should do well with a little observance of tendencies and strengths and weaknesses ...> They are complimentary in many ways, and quite harmonious in others. A very little caution, and what a mellow match this might make...

Peace!

Subject: How Magic Mirrors and Cauldrons Work, and a Non-Inductive Pop-Tart?

Hi Yas

Took a little time to dig up a few of these original papers that I boxed away years ago about all these spiffy things I'm always babbling about...

The Non-Inductive Resistor is recognized by the Patent Gods as the work of Richard L. Davis, inventor, of Albequerque, New Mexico, at the time, anyway...

Here is the abstract from the Rex Research Infolio (was Rex Research, PO Box 19250, Jean, Nevada, 89019, USA.

Abstract by Bob Nelson: Davis, R. L. : Non-Inductive Resistor---Here is a non-capacitive, non-inductive resistor in the form of a Mobius Band. When electric pulses are passed through the loop resistor, the current is divided and flows in opposite directions through the resistors, passing itself twice. This double passage eliminates any residual/ mutual inductance. A group of these resistors can be arranged for most any value (series or parallel) and still maintain the time constant! Can be wound around any form and not change the reactance. So simple you can make your own! Here's how in two articles, 1 USP, 15 pages.

Patent # 3,267, 406; Aug 16, 1966.

Yup that's not a typo, it's almost as old as Chroni (hee hee) personally... And it's a Leo too...

Think very carefully thee maybe on that Not altering the time constant, and get out your aura books and think about how problems show up in the aura Before they appear in the body and say with me, *Hmmm*... Does he Know he's ripping off dead Egyptians?

Meanwhile, my favorite is Infolio W9-WAC, Wachpress, Howard: Magnetic Levitation. (no abstract on paper); 19 pages.

"Free Flying Magnetic Levitator" US Patent #: 4, 874, 364 Oct 17, 1989. Inventor: Howard Wachpress, PO Box 99141, San Francisco, Calif. 94109. Patent references include: Nature (magazine) pp 311, 312: 1 (Jan)/28/1982.

Patent abstract: A free flying magnetic levitator that is self stabilized and fully maneuverable for magnetic structure establishing an odd number of magnetic poles for interaction with an even number of magnetic poles to produce linear motion instead of rotation without a guideway. Longitudinally wound coils produce the odd pole magnetic feild for maximizing coupling with an even pole feild such as the magnetic feild of the earth.

Again, this is my best guess as to why ancient containers are three legged, as materializers, the lift is displaced to pull the incoming matter. Obviously the earth's magnetic feild is the best guess for the even-poled feild in question. And dowsing may yet depend on these concepts for explanation.

Does He know he's ripping off the ancient Egypt...oh, never mind...

It's worth pointing out that the actual patent diagrams show two hourglass shaped coils of wire arranged like a *Iron* Cross; my devotees on this list (ROFL) will recall that the time camera, with similar properties, was designed with cone shaped coils called countermagnetic amplifiers.

It's well demonstrable that people prior to 1900 were aware of this technology, many references to magic mirrors display it.

Will throw out some skinny on time cameras including the Vatican's design when I find the particular papers.

Y'all tell my shrink he can stop saying I'm crazy now, just because I believe in things like this? ...

And here's a recent tidbit from the desk of ChroniApolloi, secretary to Hermes personally (ROFL)... there is another thing the streched out figures on the Gundestrup, (King of Magic Cauldrons) may represent, and that's reduced vapor pressure technology. Our high school science teacher used to show us if you take a sawed off jug full of a liquid with a low boiling point, stretch a rubber membrane over it and seal it, then pull up the membrane the liquid will boil, because there is less resistance to work force in a vaccuum, the same way that radiometers work, they are weathervanes in an empty glass bulb, spun at surprising speeds by light alone.

Just some thoughts; everyone else has the ritual magic well covered, simple Keeper-of-Sheep brings up the rear... although the sheep look nervously over their shoulders... I can hear the very stones forming circles now in the starry twilight... Mangos ripen at the sound...

Peace!

I think you're probably right about the *king and queen* being THE *Great Ones, although I have a hard time explaining, it's something like Gurudas tells us about a path of good intentions, of manifestation from higher dimensionalities, but I wonder if what we see in this world of such things when they're conspicuous isn't Zeus' lightning, and more subtly, a little electricity between the Sky King and Earth Queen that inspires and empowers manifestation; maybe it's a rainmaker then, and hell, maybe if it were "Lavendar's Wild" we could just throw out the slave labor and let Nature do Her thing...

Still think it's odd that the couple is working so hard at staying warm, maybe they're too old for farmwork without chugging a little lavendar oil (me too, probably! but if I could only stay Cool!!!), hmmm...
Maybe we were supposed to pick up the telltale ideosyncracy in the title too, "Lavendar's Blue"; of course it's not blue you silly twit, Lavendar is … well, it's lavendar, what else would it be?

Curiouser and curiouser...

Anyone pick up on that Thomas Campian lyric where the fire *burns blew (blue)*, izzat *Thrice Toss These Oaken Ashes* ? ...Not since *candles burning blue* (Lewis Spence, *Encyclopedia of Occultism* being that telltale sign that a spirit has manifested invisibly have I seen that phrase...

Oh, and That use of LAVENDAr, I think I already know...
("Yeah, that candle thing donna work well in the wind, do it?", Chroni chides himself...)

Subject: Blue Milk/ Witch's Milk

M*M Again

A blue day is it? Blue lavendar, blue candleflames , blue this blue that...

So here's a question I tend to repeat periodically in hopes our list now includes someone who knows anything for his one...

Besides the woodcut and text repeated in Emile Grillot de Givry's book, "Illustrated Anthology of Sorcery, Magic and Alchemy" where a witch is milking an axehandle stuck in a post, and literally getting milk from it, and the accounts there of magic milk summoned by witches that is twice as abundant as normal milk and blue in color, does anyone know of more of these accounts in magical literature?

I've considered blue milk form grazing woad, calling the post the axe is stuck in by it's true Alchemic/ Hermetic name, Vitriol, and noted the same configuration of carpentry appeared Inside (instead of outside) most homes in the corner where the pot was hung from it. (see example: *The Natural House Book" by David Pearson pg 184: An Inglenook (the name for this space) with a Witch Post: "The Inglenook was a common feature in early houses. The hearth was often protected from evil by a witch post and runic X-symbol of the fire god, Ing")

Maybe this kind of magic you can try at home? Now how do I do it? BTW, that X is the symbol of Chronos, Ho Ho Ho...

Peace!

Subject: Re: Sage...

M*M

Hmmm, Silver Sage? Is that Salvia officinalis, or the Whilte Sage, Salvia apiana, that is sold in herb stores as the Native American ceremonial herb? Or another?

Daniel Moerman's Medicinal Plants of Native America Database (MPNADB) would probably be very helpful regarding magical uses of Salvias. and many other plants. Can everyone find it okay with the search engines? If not I can go grab a page and forward the url.

It was interesting to read that previous account; I'm wondering if substituing Sagebrush or another Artemisia (they have a strong element of Mercury, communcation, travel, mobility, speed, that is probably stonger than Sage, having some Jupiterian and Saturnian gravity present--- I find regular kitchen sage light, but I do get a very strong metallic taste when I chew it...) would have the same effects, like purification, in general but afford more mobility in the astral? Tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus) might also be considered?

I will try to think of what Salvias might have more of the full range of desired effects; White Sage, maybe... I keep wanting to say the Apple Sages, Salvia pomifera and Salvia triloba but I'm not certain; they are supposed to be a common adulerant of regular, ground-and-in-the-shaker spice kind of herbs off the supermarket stores, FWIW...

Peace!
