The Great Prophecy Of
"The
Seventy Weeks Of Daniel"
If the readers desire to have a part in the Lord's work as soul winners, it
would be great for them to begin their own tract ministry by down loading our messages and
send or give copies of them to others. What could be more important for you as an
ambassador for Christ than to support the Body of Christ in this way? The messages are
already written, so why not pass them on to others?
1. The reader will notice that we have put words in parenthesis in the various Bible
verses, this is done to help the student have a better understanding of the old King James
language which is often a little bewildering to some folks who are not use to that kind of
speech. Therefore, please bear with us as we teach the message.
2. A good idea would be to read your Bible along with each verse we have quoted. It is
also very important, for the student to look up all the added Bible texts that we have
referred to in the Message. This will give the reader much added information!
Concerning the prophecy Of Daniel Ch. 9...
3. No-1. {V. 1-2}: The time and occasion of Daniel's Prayer ...
No- 2. {V. 3-19}: The Prayer ...
No- 3: {V. 20-27}: The Answer and the Prophecy of the 70 Weeks.
4. As to No. 1... {V. 1-2} above... The time and Occasion of Daniel's Prayer. It was in
the first year of Darius, of the seed of the Medes, that Daniel understood by the sacred
writings of his people, especially by the prophecy of Jeremiah, that the end of the years
of the captivity was at hand. The promises in the Word of God led Daniel at once to seek
the face of the Lord and he prayed a wonderful prayer in God's presence.
5. And concerning No. 2... {V. 3-19} above... The Prayer... It has 3 parts.
{V. 4-10}: Confession of the failure of his people and acknowledgment of God's covenant
mercies.
{V. 11-14}: The deserved curse as written in the law of Moses, and ...
{V. 15-19}: Pleading for mercy to turn away God's anger and to remember The Lord's city,
Jerusalem, and His chosen people.
6. Throughout this prayer we read how completely Daniel identified himself with the sins,
the failures, the shame and the judgment of the people of God. This is remarkable. As we
can see from the first chapter of Daniel, he was brought to Babylon when he was very young
and he belonged even then to the believing, God fearing element of the Hebrew nation.
7. Yet he speaks of the nation's sins, their rebellion, their transgressions of the Mosaic
law and their wicked deeds as if they belonged to him.
8. Of all the Bible characters Daniel appears as one of the purest. The failures of
Abraham, Moses, Aaron, David and others are recorded, but Daniel appears with no flaw
whatever in his character. As far as the record goes he was a perfect man.
9. Of course he too was "a man of like passions" as we are, and as such a
sinner. Yet this devoted and aged servant with such a record of loyalty to the Lord and to
His laws confesses all the people's sins and the curse and shame, which came upon them, as
his own.
10. No-3: above ... The answer and the Prophecy of the Seventy Weeks:
{V. 20-27}. Daniel had not yet ended his prayer. How close Heaven really is may be
understood
from ...
{V. 20-32}, it is not far away, for there is no space and no distance with God.
11. When Daniel began his confession and showed his humiliation before the Lord, the Lord
called the Angel Gabriel and instructed him what he should reveal to the praying prophet.
Then, Gabriel was caused to fly swiftly through the immeasurable space, and before Daniel
even reached the "Amen" of his prayer, the Angelic messenger stood before him
and stopped his prayer.
12. The very moment we pray in the Spirit and in Christ's Name our voices are heard in the
highest Heaven. We will now give a corrected text of this great prophecy, perhaps the
greatest prophecy in the entire recorded Word of God. Scripture...
13. {V. 24} "Seventy Weeks [of years, or 490 years] are determined [decreed] upon
your people and upon your holy city [Jerusalem], to finish the transgression, [to seal up]
and to make an end of [and make full the measure of] sins, and to [purge away and] make
[expiation and] reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness
[permanent spiritual and moral rectitude in every area and relation], and to seal up the
vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.
14. {V. 25} Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to
restore and to rebuild Jerusalem unto the [return of the] Messiah the [anointed] Prince
shall be seven weeks [of years], and threescore and two weeks [of years]: the street shall
be built again [with city square], and [also] the wall, even in troublesome times [shall
it be accomplished].
15. [Certain important events were to happen after the 62 weeks [plus the 7 weeks, or
total of 69 weeks]: the crucifixion of Messiah, and the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D.
70 by the Romans who are the people of the prince that shall come. Since these events were
to occur after the 69 weeks had run their course and before the 70th week began, there
must be a space of time between the conclusion of the 69th week and the beginning of the
70th].
16. {V. 27}. And he [the future antichrist] shall confirm [by entering into a strong and
firm covenant, and] the covenant [will be] with many for one week [7 years]: and in the
midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation [offering] to cease [for
the last 3 and 1/2 years of the Tribulation Period], and for the overspreading of
abominations [shall come] he [the one who] shall make it desolate, even until the [full
determined end] consummation, and that determined [end] shall be poured upon the desolate
{Daniel 9: 24-27}."
17. [He... the prince of {V.26}, the Antichrist previously introduced in {Daniel - 7:8,
24-26}, who will make a pact with many [of the Hebrew people] at the beginning of the
Tribulation Period. But as the text states, in the midst of the week [i.e; 3 1/2 years
later] Antichrist will break his covenant and desecrate the Temple by demanding worship of
Himself in it]. {See Matthew 24:15; & 2- Thessalonians 2:4}."
When Was This Prophecy Foretold?
18. The prophecy doesn't only tell us when Christ the Messiah was born but it also gives
us the precise time of His Second Return to this earth. This prophecy was uttered hundreds
of years before the Lord Jesus was to be born. The majority of the Hebrew people at the
time the prophecy was given were being held captive in Babylon because of their national
sins against Jehovah- God.
19. Not until A.D. 70 was the Hebrew Temple to be destroyed and this would not take place
until 40 years after the Lord Jesus had been crucified at Jerusalem.
20. Therefore, we can see by the prophecy that the Lord must be cut off, that is, murdered
on the cross before the destruction of the Temple took place. This means between 538 B.C.
and A.D. 70. If one was to teach otherwise he would be disputing and denying God's holy
prophet and to deny one of the Lord's prophets is the same as denying all of them.
21. A denial such as this would leave one in complete darkness concerning the birth and
return of the Lord. Each week in the prophecy of the 70 weeks are periods of 7 years each,
which total 490 years. This was one of the Lord's methods of counting time in dealing with
the nation Israel. Scripture...
22. "And you shall number seven Sabbaths of [weeks of] years unto you, seven times
seven years; and the space of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be unto you forty-nine
years {Leviticus 25:8}."
23. Within this period of 70 times 7, Israel's national chastisement was to be ended and
the nation established in righteousness, see {Daniel 9:24}. The 490 weeks are divided into
3 periods of time,
24. No. 1: A period of 7 weeks or 7 sevens of years which add up to 49 years. This was the
actuarial time for the rebuilding the city and streets of Jerusalem.
25. No. 2: A period of 62 weeks, 62 sevens, or 434 years which was the precise time that
elapsed from the rebuilding of Jerusalem to the cutting off [crucifixion] of Christ the
Messiah.
26. No. 3: A period of... 1- week {Daniel 9:27}, Which refers to a 7 year period called
the Tribulation Period that begins almost immediately after the Resurrection of the Body
of Christ. This 7 year period is in reference to the time when the one world ruler,
Antichrist, who is described in the vision as the worlds [evil and carnal dictator]
prince.
Concerning Jerusalem's Destruction:
27. The text states in
{v.26} above "and the end thereof," is in reference to A.D. 70 when Jerusalem
was destroyed by the Romans under the Roman general Titus. The Romans at that time ruled
most of the known world. The last [one] week of the prophecy will be fulfilled when the
revived Roman empire comes into being at the end of the Body of Christ dispensation.
28. Again in {v.26} the reference is made to the "prince that shall come
[Antichrist]; who will make a 7 year covenant with Israel at the beginning of the
Tribulation Period.
29. The words "the end thereof shall be with a flood," could possibly refer to
the flow of Hebrew blood that literally flowed down the street of Jerusalem during the war
in A.D. 70. The ancient writer Josephus, in his book " Wars of the Jews, book 6, Ch.
7, states... "And made the whole city run down with blood, to such a degree indeed
that the fire of many of the houses was quenched with these mens blood."
30. The literal translation of the closing phrase of {V.26} above says "unto the end
wars and desolations are determined." The 3 Periods referred to in the 70 week
prophecy foretells the specific time period from the time the prophecy began its
fulfillment till its end.
31. This whole prophecy refers only to the Hebrew nation. It has nothing to do with the
Gentiles except for future knowledge contained in the Scriptures that has to do with the
various dispensations. The reader will notice that there is a long break between the
second and third periods in the prophecy.
32. The one week of {Daniel 9:27} is future, for at the end of the 69 weeks when Messiah
was "cut off," Israel was still unrepentant. Instead of sentencing them to a
longer period, God set the nation aside and introduced an interval known as "The Body
of Christ Age." Once again we repeat {Daniel 9:24}, Scripture ...
33. "Seventy Weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city
[Jerusalem], to finish the transgression ... and to make an end of sin, ... and to make
reconciliation for iniquity, ... and to bring in everlasting righteousness, ... and to
seal up the vision and prophecy, ... and to anoint the most holy.
34. Notice that there are 6 things specifically mentioned in this text that have to be
accomplished in the last week of seven years.
35. No- 1... To finish the transgression of Israel,
36. No- 2... To make an end of her sins,
37. No- 3... To make reconciliation for her iniquity,
38. No- 4... To bring in everlasting righteousness,
39. No- 5... To seal up or
finish the vision and prophecy,
40. No- 6... To anoint the most holy. These things as we are aware, haven't taken place up
to this time, as present conditions in the various nations and among the Hebrew state yet
indicate. Thus, as we can see, the 70th week [Tribulation Period] has not yet begun and is
still future.
41. As we have pointed out, the whole 70 week prophecy must cover the period from Israel's
captivity to the end of the Tribulation Period, and the beginning of the 1000 year Kingdom
reign of the Lord Jesus Christ. The prophecy concerns the time of Jehovah's dealing with
the Hebrew nation from the going forth of the decree by Artaxerxes in the twentieth year
of his reign.
42. Had the Israelites studied and comprehended this particular prophecy, they would have
been well aware that their future King... the Lord Jesus Christ and their Messiah were one
and the same person. They should have known this because of the time of His birth and
death on the cross. And again, we repeat verse 25 above ...
43. "Know, therefore,
and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to rebuild
Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be "seven weeks," and threescore and
two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times."
44. This particular part of the prophecy was fulfilled hundreds of years before the birth
of the Lord Jesus. The seven weeks mentioned was 49 years counting the days in the weeks
as years instead of 24 hour days as we count a week today. Therefore, Ezra and Nehemiah
restored and rebuilt Jerusalem in 49 years and they certainly did all this in very
troublesome times.
45. If we could possibly discover when this commandment to restore Jerusalem was given, we
could understand why it was 483 years to the death of the Lord Jesus. By this, we can know
the reliability of the time measurement and trace back from the death of Jesus on the
cross... and also we can find out if any such commandment was given to the Hebrews.
46. By studying the text, we can see that it was exactly 483 years of 360 days per year
from the 20th year of Artaxerxes, the Medo-Persian king, when the decree was given, to the
official rejection of the Lord Jesus as their King by the Israelites. It should be
understood that the Hebrews counted all the months of the year as 30 day months, and not
as we count months today.
47. The second chapter of Nehemiah contains the record of the commandment and specifically
states that it was the month of Nisan, which is April, in the 20th year of Artaxerxes the
king, when the commandment was given. It was the only commandment ever given to rebuild
and restore the city. The same King issued a decree 13 years previously which had to do
with the Hebrew temple {see Ezra Ch. 7}, but this commandment of {Nehemiah Ch. 2} had
respect to the city.
48. In Nehemiah's Epistle, it is also shone how the restoration of the buildings, the
civil authority and the Temple worship was completed in the times of trouble as was
foretold by the Angel Gabriel to Daniel the prophet.
49. The 49 years of the first period and the 434 years of the second period, are
continuance and run consecutively from 445 B.C. the 20th. year of the King... and the
total of 483 years comprises the period from the beginning of the commandment until the
final and public rejection of the Lord Jesus as Israel's King.
Messiah The Prince Of Peace.
50. "And after
threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for Himself." There is no
doubt that these words have reference to the Lord Jesus. He is mentioned in His Hebrew
connection as the Messiah. In reference to the same thing, Isaiah stated ... Scripture...
51. {V.3} "He is despised and rejected [and forsaken] of men; a man of sorrows [and
pains], and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was
despised, and we esteemed Him not.
[His people, the Israelites, and most of the rest of the world, did not then, and do not
at this present time, appreciate His worth].
52. {V.4} Surely He has born our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we [ignorantly] did
esteem [and considered] Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted [as if with leprosy].
{See Matthew 8:17}.
53. {V.5} But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our [guilt and]
iniquities: the chastisement [which was needful for the obtaining] of our peace [and well
being] was upon Him; and with His stripes [that wounded Him] we are sealed [and made
whole].
54. {V.6} All we like sheep have gone astray; turned every one to his own way, and the
Lord has laid on Him the [guilt and] iniquity of us all. {See 1- Peter 2:24-25}.
55. [As to V.4-6 above: The passion of the servant, though men would think that God was
causing the servant to suffer for His own sins, the truth was that He suffered vicariously
for theirs. Wounded (v.5) = pierced, a term appropriate to crucifixion, Chastisement for
our peace, I.e; His punishment which obtained peace or well being for us].
56. {V.7} He was oppressed, and [when] He was afflicted [He was submissive and], yet He
opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her
shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth.
57. {V.8} [By oppression and judgment] He was taken from prison and from judgment: who
shall declare His generation? [and who among them considered all that was taking place]
for He [the Lord Jesus] was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression
of my [Isaiah's] people [the Hebrews] was He stricken [to His death].
58. {V.9} And He made His grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death; because
[although] He had done no violence, neither was any deceit in His mouth. {See 1- Peter
2:22-23}.
59. [Concerning V.7-9 above: The passivity of the servant, He opened not His mouth (V.7).
{See Matthew 26:63-64}; Jesus did affirm His Deity when placed under oath, (V.8) may be
stated: through oppression He was killed, and who of His generation understood that He was
killed for the transgressions of His own people? Compare {Isaiah 53:9} with {Matthew
27:57-60}.
60. {V.10} Yet it [was the will of the Lord, and it] pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He
has put Him to grief: when You shall make His soul an offering for sin [and He has risen
from the dead, in time to come], He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the
[will and] pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.
61. {V.11} He shall see of the [fruit and] travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied: by
His knowledge [of Himself which He possesses and imparts to others] shall My
[uncompromisingly] righteous servant [Jesus Christ] justify many [by making them
righteous, upright and in right standing with the Triune Godhead]; for He shall bear their
iniquities [and their guilt with the consequences, according to the will of the Lord].
62. {V.12} Therefore will I divide Him a portion with the great [kings and rulers], and He
shall divide the spoil with the strong [and the mighty]; because He has poured out His
soul [His very life] unto death: and He [let Himself be regarded as a criminal and] was
numbered with the transgressors; and [yet] He bare [and took away] the sin of many, and
made intercession for the transgressors [the rebellious]. {Isaiah 53:3-12}." {See
Luke 22:37}.
63. {As to V.10-12 above}: The portion of the Servant, His whole being, including His soul
{V.11}, was involved in the offering {v.10}; the word used in {Leviticus 6:7} of the
trespass offering, which required 120% or a double tithe as a penalty for restitution,
{Leviticus 6:5}. His seed {V,10} are those who would believe on Him.
64. To prolong His days after being made an offering would necessitate bodily
resurrection. By His Knowledge {V.11}, I.e; by knowledge of Him {See Romans 3:26}. The
great of {V.12}, literally; the many as is in {V.11}.
65. "He came unto His own [To those who belonged to Him, Hebrews, domain, creation,
things, world], and His own received Him not {John 1:11}."
66. The divine portrayal of the cutting off of the Deliverer as given in the {53rd Chapter
of Isaiah}, makes clear the meaning of the Angel Gabriel's words and gives authoritative
confirmation to our interpretation. The "cutting off" was not for Himself, but
for every person on this earth.
67. The Messiah came to this earth to receive His crown, His throne and His Kingdom, as
the King of Kings, but instead was crucified on the cross of Calvary that we through His
atonement might have everything. Referring again to {Daniel 9:26}... Scripture ...
68. "And the people [ancestors] of the prince [who were the Romans] that shall come
[in the future] shall destroy the city [of Jerusalem in A.D. 70] and the sanctuary, and
the end thereof shall be with a flood"
69. This prince is certainly not the Lord but the Antichrist who is yet to come and take
charge of the one world government as a self righteous dictatorial leader and will deceive
the whole world and especially the nation Israel {See John 5:43}.
70. He is fore-shadowed in the Roman general "Titus," who in A.D. 70 fulfilled
the prophecy that destroyed Jerusalem and its Temple and made the nation of Israel a
desolation. The Lord Jesus foretold of this 40 years before it was to take place and it
happened just as He said it would. But the evil prince that is to come will be the
Antichrist. {See Matthew 24:2}. Scripture ...
71. {V.34} "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem [you], which [continue to] killed the prophets,
and stoned them that are sent to you; how often would I have gathered your children
together [around Me], as a hen does gather her brood under her wings, and you would not!
72. {V.35} Behold, your house [the whole house of Israel, is forsaken and] is left unto
you desolate [abandoned, left to you destitute of God's help]: and verily [surely] I say
unto you, you shall not see Me [again on this earth], until the time come when you shall
say, blessed is He that [will] come in the name of the Lord {Luke 13:34-35}." {See
Jeremiah 12:7; 22:5; & Psalm 118:26}. Scripture...
73. {V.42} "Saying, if you had known [personally], even you, at least in this your
day, the things which belong to your peace [for freedom from all the distresses that are
experienced as the result of sin and upon which your peace, that is, your "security,
safety, prosperity and happiness depends]! But now they are hidden from your eyes.
74. {V.43} For the days shall come upon you, that your enemies shall [build up a mound of
dirt against your walls, and with pointed stakes around you and they will] cast a trench
about you, and compass you round, and keep you in [Jerusalem] on every side. {See Isaiah
29:3; Jeremiah 6:6; & Ezekiel 4:2}.
75. {V.44} And shall lay you [Jerusalem] even with the ground, and your children within
you; and they shall not leave in you one stone upon another; because you know not the time
of your visitation.
76. [All because you did not come progressively to recognize and know and understand from
observation and experience the time when God was visiting you. The time in which God
showed Himself gracious toward you and offered you salvation through Christ Jesus] {Luke
19:42 -44}."
77. And the prophet said... "Unto the end" a period that has not yet been
fulfilled but which has been going on for the last 2000 years "wars and desolation
are determined." This is precisely what has taken place during the centuries since
the destruction of Jerusalem. Christ made this all clear when He taught the prophecy to
the Israelites as it is recorded in {Matthew 24:6-8}.
78. But notice that He stated that many wars and desolations would be for the Hebrews only
as ... "the beginning of sorrows." The conclusion of those wars and desolations
will be fulfilled during the 70th week [Tribulation Period] of this prophecy when the
Hebrews shall be delivered from the clutches of the Antichrist into the hands of the
living Christ. {See Matthew 24:9-14}.
79. Today they have their own nation in part, their own flag and they portray the star of
David. We stated that they have their own nation in part, but only in part, because they
are being partly controlled by the United States and a few other nations, so that they are
being forced to relinquish part of their land to the Arabs and Palestinians who are of the
Islamic faith.
The Present
Dispensation Of Grace.
80. This present grace period is not considered in the 70 weeks vision, in fact it isn't
even spoken of or referred to. The end of the 69th week was fulfilled with the death of
the Lord Jesus. The 70th week of 7 years will commence only after the body of Christ is
caught up to meet the Lord in the air.
81. 7 years later the Messiah... "Jesus Christ" will appear on the earth to
begin His Millennial Reign. The period of time between the 69th and the beginning of the
70th week isn't counted in the prophecy because this particular time period was to be the
appointed time for the Body of Christ to be begin and end at its Resurrection. As we have
stated before many times... The 70th week primarily concerns the Hebrew nation and its
people, naturally it also concerns the world's nations that are here after the Rapture of
Christ's Body.
82. The Lord has regarded the parenthetical period between the weeks as a period of time
when Israel's land would lay as a desolation awaiting the nations recovery as a sovereign
state. During the parenthetical period, the time is counted as wasted years for the
Hebrews while they were out of fellowship with the Lord.
Concerning The Daily Sacrifices:
83. These sacrifices, they refer to the period while the Antichrist is ruling on the
earth, he is called the prince and is spoken of in {Daniel 9:26-27} who will make a 7 year
covenant with the Hebrews and will be helpful in their building the Tribulation Temple.
{Be sure to read part 9 of our message concerning "The different Temples of God
including the Tribulation and Millennial Temples."
84. In the middle of the 7 years, this one world dictator will break his covenant
[agreement] with the nation and force them to stop the practice of performing sacrificial
offerings to the Lord which they had started during the first 3 - & - 1/2 years of the
week.
The False Prince... The Counterfeit Messiah...
85. Scripture "And he
[Antichrist] shall confirm the covenant with the many, for one week [of 7 years], ...
{Daniel 9:27}."
86. Again we repeat, this great prince refers to the Antichrist otherwise called the
"man of sin, the prince of the people, and the future head of the European common
Market States of Europe. It is usually taught that certain European nations are the
countries that are spoken of as the 10 kings or 10 horns in {Revelation 17:12-14; &
Daniel 2:44} that will become the revived Roman Empire.
87. Many prophecy teachers believe that the ten kings spoken of in Daniel, actually refer
to ten different districts mapped off throughout the world that will give allegiance to
the Antichrist. Thus, causing the whole world to place their allegiance to this false
prince. We will agree that this type of reasoning does make sense, since the world at
large will be under his rule. One thing for sure, it wont be long till we find out one way
or the other.
88. This prince hasn't as yet made himself known to the world at large, but the European
nations have already laid the ground work for this new empire to be established with this
prince to take charge of, when he is recognized as the one world leader.
89. The reason these nations are called the "Revived Roman Empire," is because
their forefathers were the ones who nailed the Lord on the cross in A.D. 30, and destroyed
Jerusalem and the Temple in A.D. 70. We are completely convinced that the Antichrist ...
the one world ruler, will come forth from one of these European nations.
90. "The people of the prince," is speaking of the princes' ancestors, again see
... {Daniel 9:26}.
91. The Israelites will be pleased with the promises the world ruler makes with them, they
will believe every thing he says, at least until he violates his pledge to them.
92. Those who have become Believers at that time will know... if they have studied God's
Word, that when the Antichrist breaks his promises and forces the Hebrews to stop the
sacrificial offerings, that it will be just 3 1/2 half more years until the Messiah
returns to the earth to set up His Kingdom reign. After that takes place, the end of all
Gentile sovereignty will cease and Christ as the world's King will reign forever.
93. Ever since the Common Market Alliance begin, this writer has warned people, that the
Common Market of Europe would be enlarged to become the final nation confederacy that is
spoken of by the prophet Daniel. We have warned them, that this would take place just a
short time before the beginning of the final 70th week of Daniel, but the majority of
folks were not the least bit interested.
94. Now that many of these things we have taught that would take place, has come to pass,
we must also conclude, that the prediction is close at hand for the Antichrist to make
himself known by taking the lead in the so-called peace agreements between Israel and her
present day neighbors.
95. We are convinced of this, because the prophet said that the people of the prince
[Antichrist] would be the ones to form this great alliance to make up this Empire of
Federated Nations. They will be entwined together by their common religious ties,
although, the Antichrist himself will not be a parity to true Christianity.
96. At the present time, we are observing the European Common Market and all its potential
military, economic, political and religious power. It certainly has all the
characteristics of being the prophetic fulfillment of the revived Roman Empire that was
foretold, to come into existence during the years just preceding Messiah's Second Coming.
97. It will be extremely interesting to observe the events to come, when further
developments justify the conclusions that we have been teaching ... concerning the
Antichrist and his coming as the one world leader through the power of his god, "the
devil."
As To The Prince's Lineage...
98. Concerning this One World Ruler, {Daniel 9:27} speaks of him in the last week of his
vision. When he speaks of "He," referring to the prince of {v.26} whose people
[The Romans] destroyed the Hebrew Temple, he was talking about this same man ... the
"Beast" of {Revelation Ch. 13}. Daniel made clear that the covenant Antichrist
made was for one 7 year week ... and in the middle of the week all his promises would be
revoked and set aside.
99. The "oblation" would cease ... and for "the overspreading of
abominations [idolatry] he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that
determined shall be poured upon the desolate {V.27}," [this is talking about
Jerusalem].
100. The 7 year Tribulation period will be a time of trouble that the world cannot even
dream of. It will be such an evil time that cannot be comprehended by anyone during this
present age. This will be the time that Satan will go on a rampage and try to destroy
every Hebrew and Christian from off the earth. The catastrophes performed during that time
will make Hitler's atrocities look like a Sunday school picnic.
101. This 7 year period is called, "The time of Jacob's trouble {Jeremiah 30:7}"
and the last half of the week 1260 days will be much, much worse then the first part,
every evil thing that can be thought of will be performed against those who will not bow
to the will of Antichrist and his cohorts. After the Tribulation Period has ended and the
Lord has returned, there will be many other events take place of national importance to
the Hebrews that will precede the setting up of the Millennial Kingdom.
102. The Antichrist's main objective in controlling the world, is to use as much force as
possible to gain his own ends. He will use all the wealth he has at his disposal even if
he has to bankrupt the world to achieve the purpose he has set out to accomplish. {Read
Daniel 11:36 on}. The 70th week, covers the period of the Tribulation Period, and is much
different from the previous 69 weeks in the prophecy.
103. It isn't just in the book of Daniel where this time period is spoken of, but it is
portrayed in many other places throughout our Bible and especially in the book of
Revelation. The explanation concerning the beginning, middle and end of this one week
period, is distinctly pointed out and explained.
A Time
104. No. 1... {Daniel 7:25; & Revelation 12:14}. "A time" singular, refers
to one year; "Times" plural, equals two years; and a "half time" is
the half of a year, which totals three and a half years for the most dreaded last half of
the Tribulation Period.
Forty And Two Months
105. No. 2... Forty and two months {Revelation 11:2; & 13:5}, which again speaks of 3
and I/2 years.
The "Thousand Two Hundred Threescore Days"
106. No. 3... The "thousand two hundred threescore days" of {Revelation 11:3;
& 12:6}, adds up to 3 - & - 1/2 years. Each period of time refers to the same
thing and when we add the 3 1/2 years of the first half of the week , we have the whole
week in view. When the covenant is broken in the middle of the week between the Hebrews
and the Antichrist, then Satan and his Angels is to be cast down to the earth.
107. Then Satan will
concentrate all his mind, strength and power to the horrible activities he puts into the
hands of the one world leader to perform against the Hebrews especially ... and then to
the rest of the world at large. {Daniel 9:27; & Revelation 12:7-10}.
108. Antichrist will be the head of this federation of nations prefigured in the ten toes
of Daniel's image of {Daniel 2:40-43}, who enters into the treaty with the Hebrews at the
beginning of the week. This is referred to in {Isaiah 28:18} as a covenant of death and an
agreement with hell.
109. After breaking the covenant, the Beast, "Antichrist," will attempt to force
idolatry on the Israelites and the rest of the nations likewise by insisting that every
person worship the image of himself. This is similar to what took place when the
Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar decreed that the 3 Hebrew children should bow down to the
golden image which he had set up {Daniel 3:12; & Revelation 13:4, 14-15}.
110. This idol worship will be rejected by those who have become believers, then the
Antichrist prince, being energized by the devil, will become very angry against all who
have become Godly in their belief. This is one of the main things that will cause
unparalleled troubles and sorrows during the great Tribulation of the last 3 and 1/2 years
of the 70th week.
Alternatives
111. The world today has a choice of accepting or rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ and the
prophecies of the prophet Daniel. It would be utter nonsense to accept one of them and
reject the other.
112. Those of us who are positive that all the Bible is infallible, throw the lies of the
false teachers and unbelievers right back into their faces, the Lord will be their judge
in His own time!
113. The Bible teaches that Christ, came as He said He would, He suffered, as prophecy
states He would... and He died as was foretold in the {22- Psalm}. His body laid in the
tomb 3 days and 3 nights as He Himself had foretold. He was resurrected from the dead and
will live forever as many Scriptures teach. There is no doubt in any true Christians mind,
that Christ will return as He stated He will, and all the Messianic prophecies will be
fulfilled as the Bible says they will.
The Identification Of Christ The Messiah...
114. No. 1... The body of Jesus had to be in human form and a seed of the "woman
Israel."
115. No. 2... He could not have been an Angel, for an Angel could never die on a cross for the sins of man or be born of a virgin mother.
116. No. 3... He had to be
born of a virgin birth and be the Christ child, God in the flesh of humanity.
117. No. 4... He could never be born through male- generation by having a human father.
118. No. 5... He had to be from the Abrahamic Hebrew lineage and His human ancestors had to be from the seed of Shem... a son of Noah.
119. No. 6... He could
never be born from a Gentile parent.
120. No. 7... He could never be born through the line of Ishmael or Esau, but had to be
from the line of Isaac and Jacob.
121. No. 8... He could not be descended from any of the other eleven tribes, but only from the tribe of Judah could He be born.
122. No. 9... He was
Royalty because He was descended from the royal family of King David which gave Him the
honor of being an earthly heir of the Davidic throne through the Davidic Covenant.
123. No. 10... He Had to be the "Lord Immanuel" meaning ["God with
us"], He was the Messiah ... The Son of God.
124. No. 11... He was, as
prophecy teaches, born between the time the prophecy was foretold in the Book of Daniel
... and the time when the city of Jerusalem was destroyed in A.D. 70.
125. No. 12... He had to be born in the little city of Bethlehem.
126. No. 13... He was fathered by God the Holy Spirit which made His birth a supernatural birth.
127. No. 14... He had to
be rejected by the Hebrews, His own people.
128. No. 15... He had to be crucified in order to save countless future souls.
129. No. 16... He gave
proof that should be unquestionable by the world, of His claim to Kingship, to His power
over demonic entities, over the spirit world as a whole, over disease, over nature, over
death, and even over His own Resurrection.
130. No. 17... He fulfilled what was prophesied in the Psalms, Isaiah, Daniel, and the
other prophetic epistles concerning His sacrifice on the cross, His being humiliated by
His own people.
131. No. 18... There were
at least 25 prophecies that were literally fulfilled when He gave up His life.
Is The Bible The True Word Of God?
132. No. 1... Was the Lord Jesus Christ, from the city of Nazareth, the true Son of God
the Father?
133. No. 2... Was He the Messiah of Israel or was He just fooling the nation?
134. No. 3... Was He the
one foretold in over 300 places in the O. T. that would come to this earth as the Christ?
135. No. 4... Have all the people down through the centuries been fooled by the teachings
of those who taught that He was and is the true Christ?
136. No. 5... Have all
those who have died by martyrdom in the past generations died for a Saviour that was a
false Christ?
137. No. 6... Does the one who states He was the true Christ fit the picture of the one
who was foretold in the many prophecies of old?
138. No. 7... Is He really the Saviour that the Bible said would come to this earth?
139. No. 8... Were the
"wise men" who traveled from the east to the land of Israel inquiring about the
Messiah who was born the "King of the Jews" also fooled? They stated that they
followed His star Therefore, they had traveled all the way from their own land
to worship the new Christ child. {See Matthew 2:2}.
140. The Scriptures said that the child would be born in Bethlehem. So they traveled
there, and found the infant Jesus. The Lord Jesus was not in a stable as is usually taught
but had sometime after His birth, moved into a house. Jesus may have been as much as two
years old at the time the wise men found Him. The wise men presented Him with gifts of
"gold, frankincense and myrrh." Were these wise men liars, deceivers and idol
worshipers? Of course not. {See Matthew 2:6-11; & 16}. Scripture...
141. {V.3} "When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all
Jerusalem with him.
142. {V.4} And when he had
gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he
demanded of them where Christ should be born.
143. {V.5} And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
144. {V.6} And you Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, are not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of you shall come a Governor, that shall rule My people Israel.
145. {V.7} Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
146. {V.8} And he sent
them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when you
have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also {Matthew 2:3-8}.
Is Christ The Heir Of The Throne Of David?
147. No. 1... If Christ is who the Scriptures say He is... The King of Kings, the Messiah
of Israel and the one who is to return in the future to liberate the world from the
Antichrist, then all those who wrote about Him were right. The 12 Apostles were right,
Paul was right and the prophets of old such as Daniel, Isaiah, John the revelator etc.
were all right.
148. No. 2... If Christ is the true Messiah, then the Hebrew nation has been deceived
throughout the centuries. They have been taught lies by false prophets, by Rabbi's, who
have been brain washed with false doctrine. They are being deceived even at this very
time. Having hardened their hearts to the truth that is being taught world wide from the
Hebrew Bible, and by Gentile Ministers, will bring forth tremendous judgment on Israel for
rejecting God's Word.
149. One of the greatest responsibilities of all Christian Believers, is to spread the
Word of God throughout the nations of the world. We believe that the time for ministering
to a lost world is far shorter than most folks think .
150. The 70th week of the prophecy... the "Tribulation Period," is approaching
so rapidly that it will be present before the nations find out what is taking place. Then,
chaos will overtake the human race as never before, and Daniel's prophecy will come to its
fulfillment.
Conclusion
151. {Revelation 13:11-18} tell us about a false prophet who will perform many miracles
and deceive the whole world. This prophet and his boss the Antichrist, will try to get all
people to accept them as Godly individuals, but as we know, they are only deceitful
followers of Satan!
152. Satan himself could never manufacture the miracles and signs that Christ performed
when He was on the earth. We know that the devil is a wise individual and the greatest of
deceivers, after all, hasn't he deceived the whole world in leading untold millions into
hell? No one, not even Satan, could make the claims that Christ made without
substantiation, and make folks believe them.
153. All of the Lord's claims and promises are very minute, specific and too definite to
allow for coincidental or accidental fulfillment. Christ's revelation of the Trinitarian
Godhead, His overwhelming testimony presented to the world concerning Himself, His past
and His Future, has been made known to us.
154. Peter and Thomas, both being Christ's Apostles, called Him "Lord and God."
The apostle John made clear in the first verse of John, that Jesus is who He said He is!
155. Jesus came the first time as a sacrifice in order that humanity might be saved. In
Heaven at the present time, the Lord is representing us as our High priest and constantly
presenting to the Father the fact, that Satan the accuser is telling lies about us. The
devil would love to get God the Father to turn against us.
156. {Hebrews 9:24-28} tells us that Christ will appear personally at His Second Coming to
those who look for Him, this will be at the end of the 70th week. We also believe this
appearing will be in a very short time from this hour. He will appear first to resurrect
the Body of Christ from off this earth, and then, at His second coming to halt the battle
of Armageddon and set up His own world government. His first advent was visible to His own
people, His second advent will likewise be visible, to the whole world at large.
157. No. 1... The Lord will return in the atmosphere of this earth to resurrect the Body
of Christ up into Paradise {1- Corinthians 15:51-55; - & -1- Thessalonians 4:16-18}.
158. No. 2 ... Jesus will return to the earth at the end of the Tribulation Period to restore those of Israel who have become believers, as the leading nation of this world.
159. No. 3... Christ as
the Messiah, after His Second Coming, will set up His Millennial Kingdom as the prophets
have foretold for millennia.
160. No. 4... Messiah will, by His power, establish peace on the earth through
Righteousness and truth, and will reign for one thousand years on this earth where there
will be no more wars or chaotic conditions to worry over for that length of time. {See
Ezekiel 37:1-28}.
161. No. 5... The Lord
will annul the power of the world leaders. He will Himself, be the supreme authority of
the nations as a theocratic King with righteous dictatorial power that will govern the
world and the rest of the universe as the King of Kings. {See Daniel 2:34,35 - & -
Revelation 19:16}.
162. No. 6... As Messiah, Jesus will place in office the 12 Apostles as Judges over the 12
tribes of
Israel, they will set on 12 thrones while in office. {See Matthew 19:28; - & - Isaiah
1:26; - & - 32:1}.
163. No. 7... Jesus as King, will judge the nations of this world as sheep [believers] and
goats [unbelievers], the sheep will reign with Him throughout His Millennial reign. The
goats will be the ones who have taken the mark of the beast, they will be cast into Hades
because of their unbelief
and rejection of Him. {See Matthew 25:31-46}.
Salvation
164. Are you and your loved ones ready? God is ready. Christ has prepared a home for you
in Heaven. He wants you there. I believe that you want to go there. The Word of the Lord
states, Scripture...
165. "He, that [who] being often reproved [and] hardens his neck, shall suddenly be
destroyed, and that without remedy {Proverbs 29:1}."
166. [If you will not listen and believe before the Resurrection of the Body of Christ,
look what the Lord says about you]...
167. {V.10} Scripture "And with all deceivableness of [unlimited seduction to evil
and with all wicked deception to] unrighteousness in them that perish [and are going to
perdition, perishing]; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be
saved. [They refused to believe the truth of God's Word].
168. {V.11} And for this cause God will send them [a working error of] strong delusion [a
misleading influence, of some type of idol worship], that they should believe a lie [of
what is false].
169. {V.12} That they all might [be judged and] be damned [condemned] who believed not
[and refused to adhere to trust and rely on] the truth, but [instead] had pleasure in
unrighteousness {2- Thessalonians 2:10-12}."
170. In order to be positive of your own Salvation, we would ask you to "Please"
read and pray the following prayer and if you really believe and accept in your heart
[mind] what you have read and have spoken these words in this prayer with a contrite mind
to God the Father, you will have become a Child of God!
THE SINNERS PRAYER:
171. Heavenly Father, I know that I'm a lost sinner and that I cannot save myself by good
works. I believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son Who came down from Heaven and took on a
human body of flesh and was born of the Virgin Mary. I believe that Jesus shed His blood
on the cross of Calvary and died paying the price for my sins with His death so that I can
receive salvation because and through His sacrifice.
172. I believe that after Christ's sacrifice and death, He arose from the tomb after three
literal days and nights. That Jesus ascended into the third Heaven to sit at the right
hand of God the Father. I believe that Jesus will return for all Saints who belong to the
Body of Christ in the Resurrection [Rapture] according to His own promise!
173. I know that I have been up to this time a lost sinner and deserved to go to hell. So
I beseech you Heavenly Father, send your Holy Spirit at this very moment into my Heart and
save me for Jesus Christ sake as has been promised me by Your Holy Word. I am receiving
Jesus Christ at this very moment as my personal Saviour, my Lord and as my only blessed
hope for salvation. Thank You Lord for now I am saved by Your wonderful grace. Amen!
174. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever
believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son
into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved {John
3:16-17}."
175. "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the
gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast {Ephesians 2:8-9}."
176. "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man,
the things which God has prepared for them that love Him. But God has revealed them to us
by His [Holy] Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, yes the deep things of God {1-
Corinthians 2:9-10}."
177.
