What One Should Know About That Wonderful Place Called Heaven And How To Get There.

1 The reader will notice that we have put words in parenthesis in the various Bible verses, this is done to help the student have a better understanding of the old King James language which is often a little bewildering to some folks who are not used to that kind of speech. Therefore, please bear with us as we teach the message. A good idea would be to read your Bible along with each verse we have quoted.

Before beginning this message, there is something we would like to make clear. When you read about physical bodies, soulish bodies and celestial bodies, it may tend to confuse you. Two men, Enoch and Elijah were the only two men according Scripture, who went to Paradise without dying. As they were translated from off the earth, their physical bodies would have had to be changed into Celestial bodies to exist in the Paradise of God. Whereas, when the rest of humanity was to die, when doing so, they left their physical bodies behind to be buried in a literal grave.

Therefore, all who went to Heaven after death, had some type of a soulish body and will have the soulish body until the Resurrection of their physical bodies that will be changed into celestial bodies. Only 3 men are now in Heaven that have celestial bodies, the third man being the Lord Jesus who is the God Man. Please consider all this as you read the Message.

2. Down through the ages Saints have sung countless songs concerning Heaven and of course there will be no end to these wonderful songs. The Lord Jesus told His Disciples to...

3. "... Rejoice because your names are written [enrolled] in Heaven {Luke 10:20}." {See Psalm 69:28; & Daniel 12:1}. Christians today should ask the Lord to give them more comprehension concerning that glorious place! We pray that this message will help somewhat in that endeavor. Heaven really isn't very far from us, the Bible tells us that the Angels travel to the earth and back to Heaven continually and that multitudes of these heavenly beings are watching us with infinite tenderness.

4. When an unbeliever receives Salvation on this earth, the Angels in Heaven praise God and rejoice. One should search through our Bible and check all the references where Heaven is mentioned. There are those that may tell you that there is no such place as Heaven in existence. Don't you dare let them deceive you for the blessed promises of Heaven are real. Should this message bless your heart and make Heaven real to you then it will be well worth the time we have taken to write it.

5. It is our hope that you will use this message to comfort others that may need your help. There are countless multitudes of bereaved folks who have lost loved ones in death and are anxious to find out where they have gone. Naturally they wonder if they will ever see them again in the hereafter. Wouldn't it be great if they could only know what Scripture teaches about the future and what Heaven is really like?

6. There are many today who have life threatening infirmities, who are expecting death at any time. These people are unaware that Heaven is only one breath or one heartbeat away and that every human being will have to face the end of this life as they know it sooner than they think! We can be assured that these people would rejoice if only someone would tell them what our Saviour has promised those who will trust in Him for Salvation. We therefore pray that you will take a little of your time to pass this message on to people such as are mentioned above, if you will do this God will surely bless you from on High.

7. Just before His death on the cross, Jesus told His Apostles about Heaven in order to comfort them. While He was on the cross the Lord promised one of the men at His side, who was also being crucified, that he would be with Christ in paradise that very day. With this message you should be able to win souls to Salvation thus, keeping them from being deceived by the lies of Satan. Any message concerning Heaven can be used to lead the unbeliever to Christ if it is taught in the right way.

All Who Go To Heaven Will Find Happiness And comfort.

8. {V.1} Scripture "Let not your heart [mind] be troubled, [distressed, and agitated, if]: you believe in, [adhere to, trust in and rely on] God, [then] believe [in, adhere to, trust in and rely] also in Me [for I am God, the second part of the Trinitarian Godhead].

9.  {V.2} In My Father's house are many mansions [dwelling places]: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

10. {V.3} And if [when] I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

11. {V.4} And [to the place] where ever I go you know, and the way you know.

12. {V.5} Thomas said to Him, Lord, we know not where you go; and how can we know the way?

13. {V.6} Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father, but by [and through] Me {John 14:1-6}." [There is no other way]!

14. The false cults have caused much confusion about Heaven. Then, also, there has been a great decrease in teaching about death. The same thing can be said about Heaven, judgment and Hell in recent years. Many of these cults teach that there is no Hell but the same Bible that teaches of one also teaches of the other. Nobody should teach about one and ignore the other by dismissing it.

15. Lost folks must be continually warned that unless they change their mind, they will miss the eternal joy and glory of Heaven. These folks will, like the rich man, lift up their eyes in Hell, being in torment, if they continually ignore the Lord. This world is just a testing place to test us as to whether we will follow after Christ or the Devil. As we taught in our message on Hell, this life is just a vapor compared to eternity.

16. This earth is certainly not the Christian's home. Sometimes various Children of God treat it as such. Here we should not think of this world as a place other then a temporary spot in the road leading to the hereafter. Our citizenship is in Heaven. Any eternal treasure we possess is with the Lord but not here on this earth!

Heaven Is Just As Literal As The Sun, Moon And The Stars.

17. Doubtless, Jesus when facing His death on the Cross was comforted by the Father in Heaven. He surely remembered the time before His birth on this earth when He had been in the heavenly Paradise with the Father and the Holy Angels. What glories awaited Him there after His Crucifixion when He would be resurrected to sit at the right hand of the Father. No Christian should be troubled by the thought of physical death since he or she is only one breath away from Heaven.

18. Do you ever think of Heaven? Or are you too concerned about your troubles here on earth? Heaven is a real place, just as real as the city or county you live in and you will not be just floating on a cloud somewhere out in space as some have taught. When you are there you will be used by the Lord to further His will in the universe. How wonderful it will be is beyond human computation. Scripture states that Christ created the earth and all that was to be on the earth in just 6- 24 hour days and nothing was made other than by Him {See John 1:3}.

19. Since the Lord made so much in just 6 days, think of how much more He has done in the last 2000 years since His resurrection from this earth.

Where Can Heaven Be Found?

20. The Bible speaks of Three Heavens. Actually everybody on this earth is in the first heaven because this earth and its atmosphere is the first heaven. The second heaven takes in all the Galaxies with their stars and planets. The third heaven proceeds outward from the star systems into eternity without end.

21. Therefore, the second heaven surrounds the first heaven with the third heaven surrounding both the first and second heavens. It's really amazing isn't it? It makes no difference which direction the Christian takes when leaving earth, he will still be going up. The Bible speaks of Satan as being the god of this world. The devil is the prince and the power of the of the air. Therefore, he has limited power only in the first and second heavens but no power at all in the third Heaven.

22. {Acts 1:9} tells us how Jesus went up to the Third Heaven from this earth. In {2- Kings 2:11} the prophet Elijah was caught up from off this earth without dying. In {Hebrews 11:5; & Genesis 5:24} we also see the Prophet Enoch translated from off the earth without seeing death.

23. These two men were taken up in their physical bodies. Obviously their bodies at the time they were taken, were changed into spiritual bodies. The fact is, our bodies as we know them here on earth, cannot exist in Heaven thus, only spiritual bodies can exist in Paradise. And then, {2- Corinthians 12:2-4} explains how the Apostle Paul was received up into the third Heaven for a temporary visit in paradise.

24. The Scriptures state that on the insistence of those who were in doubt, fifty men searched for three days, scouring the area, to find the remains of Elijah but naturally it could not be found. It had been changed into a Heavenly celestial body at the time he was caught up from off the earth. {See 2- Kings 2:12-17}.

25. When living Christians are caught up into Paradise at the Resurrection, we will have spiritual bodies also, just like the two prophets received as they were taken up. Our Heavenly bodies will exist throughout all eternity, without any worldly members that are subject to decay and waste away. We, in our new bodies, will have reached complete and perfect perfection and will remain perfect everlastingly.

26. {V.50} Scripture "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption. [This verse does not refer to the Millennial kingdom of Christ but to the Heavenly Kingdom]. The word "sown" in {verse 42}, implies Resurrection. But there is no hope of Resurrection in the word sleep [bury] see {John 11:11-14; & 1- Corinthians 11:30}.

27. {V.51} Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep [in the grave, speaking of Christians], but we shall all be changed,

28. {V.52} In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet [such as a last call to supper]: for the trumpet [call for the Body of Christ] shall sound, and the [bodies of the Christian] dead [at that time] shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

[Those of us in the Body of Christ at that time, that will still be alive, will be kept from the hour of temptation "the Tribulation Period." In other words we will be Raptured before the Tribulation takes place]. {See Revelation 3:10-11; & Philippians 3:20-21}.

29. {V.53} For this [present] corruptible [physical body] must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

30. [Christians, even though we are still alive are immortal because we are in Christ and Christ is sitting at the right hand of God the Father at this present time. Naturally, I am speaking of our soul and spirit which is very much alive and will be so forever. The same of course, cannot be said concerning our physical bodies until they are changed into the spiritual] {See Romans 6:4,11}.

{V.54} So when this corruptible [body] shall have put on incorruption [a body of perfection], and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

31. {V.55} O death, where is your sting? O [literal] grave [Queber in the Greek] where is your victory?

[The word "Queber" refers to a literal grave. The Greek manuscripts do not have the word "Hades" in this verse].

32. {V.56} The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. [Moral Law] {See Romans 6:14-16}.

33. {V.57} But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

34. {V.58} Therefore, my beloved brethren, be you steadfast [firm], unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, [that is, always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough] forasmuch as you know that your labour [in the service of Jesus is not futile and] is not in vain [is never wasted] in the Lord {1- Corinthians 15:50-58; & Titus 3:14}."

35. In the Paradise of Heaven there will be much music. Assemblies in many denominations teach that it is wrong to have music in an Assembly service, and only the voice should be heard which takes the place of music. First there is absolutely no Scripture in the Word of God that teaches this type of doctrine.

36. If such was the case why were music instruments used in Heaven? According to {Ezekiel 28:12-13} when Satan was created, so also were music instruments created for the Angels to use in Heaven such as the "Tabrets and Pipes" spoken of in Ezekiel.

37. The text gives us an idea of the beautiful music that we will have in Heaven. Naturally, the best thing about Heaven is that we will be there with Christ who is at the present time sitting at the right hand of God the Father. When the reader reads this, it could be that the Christian Body of Christ has already been taken up to meet the Lord in Heaven.

38. But just in case we Christians are still here, this means that you still have a chance to become a Christian which will place you in the Body of Christ. The reader should read our message that explains what to do if you are left behind at the Rapture of the present Church system.

39. It must be understood that when the word Church is spoken of, it is really not referring to a local Assembly. If it were possible to bring all Christians world-wide together in one place at the same time, that body of Believers would consist of a large part of the "Body of Christ" that is a much better name than Church. You notice we said that it would be a large "part" of the Body.

40. Since the Body of Christ first begin in the first century AD., there have been untold millions of Christians die which have already preceded us to Heaven. These people are awaiting the Resurrection for the rest of the Body of Christ from off this earth, that we all who make up the Body might be complete and all together in one place in Heaven.

41. We have written a great deal concerning the Second Coming of Christ in other messages thus, we would rather not get into that subject at this time. On the other hand Scripture does state that Jesus will Reign on this earth after His Second Coming. You and I in the Body of Christ definitely will reign with Christ in the universe even though He will be Reigning on the earth while we reign with Him in Heaven.

42. Since Christ is in each Believer and we are in Him, this means that wherever He is and wherever we are, we will still be in Him and He in us. Actually, it is that way even now at the present time {See Romans 6:3-4; Titus 3:14; & 1- Thessalonians 4:18}.

Will This World Ever Be Destroyed?

43. After the thousand year reign of Christ on this earth has been completed, the first and second heavens are to be purged [cleansed] with fire. All the sinful things that have happened in the past, the killing, rape, wars and other strife that has taken place because of Satan and his followers while he was the god of this world must be removed. The only way this can happen is by cleansing the whole earth and the first and second heavens with fire! {See 2- Peter 3:7-13}.

44. According to the Bible, this world will never be destroyed. Only the outer crust of the earth is to be purged and cleansed by fire. The Lord speaks of a new earth which is to be constructed on this world where the old earth was before. Nevertheless we, according to the Lord's promise, look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwells righteousness {2- Peter 3:13}.

45. The Heavenly City of Jerusalem will hover over the new earth throughout the Millennial Reign of Christ. And then, the City "New Jerusalem" will come all the way down to the New Earth after it has been created and will be stationed upon the new earth forever. {See Revelation 21:1-3,10; Isaiah 45:17-18; Luke 1:33; & Ephesians 3:21}.

46. This huge city will contain many mansions {John 14:2}. The Tabernacle of the Lord will be surrounded by a new atmosphere. There will be no night there. The Lord Jesus will be the light of the new earth. There will be no more death, no sorrow, crying, tears, unhappiness or pain: for all the former things will have passed away {See Revelation 21:3-4; & 22:3-5}.

47. When we, the Body of Christ, are caught up into Heaven, before the evil Tribulation Period, our new bodies will be bodies similar to our present bodies. "[personally, I hope I won't be as ugly as I am now]" {See Luke 24:39}.

48. Thus, when we look up, we are looking into Heaven even though we cannot see very far into it. Somewhere in space the Lord is preparing a holy city, the house of many mansions, [Meaning, dwelling places]. The streets will be of pure gold. There will be a river of the water of life, also trees with 12 kinds of fruit and where there is no night.

[See our message concerning "the different Temples of God" in part 9 of "The Bride and Body of Christ," which explains certain things about the Heavenly City New Jerusalem].

49. The Lord, after His Resurrection from the garden tomb, told Thomas to "... reach here your finger, and behold My hands; and reach here your hand, and thrust it into [against] My side: and be not faithless, but believing {John 20:27}." At a later time the Apostle John wrote of this, he stated that Jesus was the person the Apostles had handled [touched] {See 1- John 1:1-3}.

50. When Jesus returns to this earth as Israel's Messiah, the Israelites and other people on the earth will look at Him who had been pierced with a sword at the time when He had been crucified. The Lord will be ask the question, "... what are these wounds in your hands...? [Where did you get those wounds]?" Jesus will answer them saying, "... I was wounded [when I was] in the house of My [loving] friends {See Zechariah 13:6}."

51. At Christ's return, He will have the same body. The same scars in His hands. The same feet and side that He had when He was caught up into Heaven at His Resurrection {See Acts 1:11}. He will return upon the Mount of Olives from where He had been Resurrected 2000 years ago {See Zechariah 14:4}. This same Jesus now abides in Heaven in a physical , celestial body. I tell you, Heaven is a literal, real, physical place. [When we say Jesus had a physical, celestial body, we mean that though His body was a celestial body, it was both a celestial and physical body at the same time in the sense that His body could be felt, He could eat and drink the same way as He did when He had been on the earth.

And as we stated on page one at the beginning of our message, Enoch and Elijah, were the only men other than Jesus, who have this type of body until the Resurrection of the Body of Christ. Then, all of the Body of Christ will have that type of body]. {Read about Jesus after His death, John 20:26-28; & Luke 24:36-43}.

52. Of all the races on the earth, there are only three people in Heaven who have the same bodies they had when they were on this earth. Even though Christ, Enoch and Elijah have their bodies, they only look very similar to what they looked like before they were Resurrected. The Resurrected Bodies in Heaven will not have the same type of flesh that they have today.

53. Neither is there any blood in celestial bodies because our life today in the physical body is in the blood. Thus, the Heavenly body which will become spiritual will not contain blood {See Leviticus 17:10-11; & Psalm 106:38}.

54. In {I- Corinthians 15:20} we read, "But now is Christ risen from the dead, and became the first fruits of them [bodies of dead Saints] that slept [abode in the grave]." The Lord Jesus was the first human being that was ever Resurrected from the dead into Paradise of the third Heaven.

55. Christ arose from His tomb in a glorious body, a body with feet, hands and all the other members of His Body that His disciples could feel. He ate food and drank in their presence. At the time of His Resurrection, the bodies of several of the other Saints that were in the graves also came forth from the graves and appeared to many people in Jerusalem. Scripture...

56. {V.52} "And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept [in death] arose,

{V.53} And came out of the graves after His [Christ's] resurrection, and went into the Holy City [Jerusalem in Israel], and appeared to many {Matthew 27:52-53}."

57. You notice that this text speaks of literal, physical bodies. Many fine Bible scholars think that these bodies arose almost immediately up into Heaven. Dr. C. I. Scofield, in the Scofield Bible states... "That these bodies returned to their graves is not said and may not be inferred. The wave-sheaf {Leviticus 23:10-12} typifies the resurrection of Christ, but a sheaf implies plurality. It was a single "corn of wheat" that fell into the ground in the crucifixion and entombment of Christ {John 12:24}; it was a sheaf which came forth in resurrection. The inference is that these saints... went with Jesus {Ephesians 4:8-10} into Heaven."

58. Whether Dr. Scofield is right or wrong is something that is debatable. The only true answer is something we will have to wait for when we get there ourselves. One thing we can be assured of is that {Ephesians Ch. 4} DOES refer to Christ changing the place of Paradise. It was changed from down in the center parts of this world where the souls and spirits, of those Saints who died before the death of Christ went to at the time of their demise up into the third Heaven.

59. Read our message concerning Hell called "The Prison of No Return." In the prison message, we get into a much better discussion about where the O. T. Saints and sinners went to when they died. Also read our message concerning "Sheol," where the soul goes to at the time of death.

60. We should be aware of the fact that, when we "the Body of Christ" are Resurrected into Heaven at the time of the Rapture, we will take our bodies that have been changed into perfect spiritual bodies with us. Our bodies will be just as real throughout all eternity as they were when we lived in them on the earth. But, some folks wonder how people in Heaven or Hell could possibly know and recognize each other. Are they clothed with some type of soulish body that can see and feel things? after all they are now celestial beings.

61. The people in Heaven are right now awaiting the Resurrection of their dead bodies that are still in the graves of this earth to be Raptured and changed as the above Scriptures state. We read of the death of Moses and over a thousand years later when he appeared with Elijah on the Mount of Transfiguration to converse with Jesus. These men appeared visible in the sight of three of the Lords Apostles.

62. Scripture "And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus {Mark 9:4}." {See also Matthew 17:1-3}. Our Bible states that the body of Moses, after he died, was buried by Jehovah God Himself {Deuteronomy 34:5-6}, later we find Moses appearing to these Apostles. There is no Scripture text that speaks of the body of Moses being Resurrected previously.

63. When the prophet Samuel was brought up by God, he appeared to King Saul and the witch of Endor {1- Samuel 28:12}. And then, we find a rich man in Hell after he had died, looking across a chasm of some type at Abraham. The rich man could see Lazarus over in the Paradise section of Hades and actually had a short conversation with Abraham {Luke 16:23}. The Apostle John "... saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held {Revelation 6:9}."

64. If Folks in Heaven have no physical bodies, they certainly appeared visibly to others as the Scriptures prove. Heaven is just as real, literal, and visible as the truck , car or home you possess. [The souls under the altar had soulish bodies, but they were physical enough to wear white robes].

When A Christian Dies He Immediately Is Transported Into Heaven.

65. For centuries now, there has been a doctrine taught by various scholars that cannot be found in the Greek or Hebrew Scriptures. These teachers teach that after death, the soul of the deceased descend into a place called "purgatory." A place one must suffer for a certain period of time.

66. These teachers teach that the loved ones, of the departed, should contribute financially to ministers to participate in various masses in order to pray their loved ones out of purgatory. Eventually, when enough masses are completed and enough prayers are uttered, the souls of these dead folks will pass from purgatory and ascend up into Heaven.

67. This doctrine is based on the doctrine of salvation strictly by works and greed for wealth, instead of redemption by the shed blood of Christ. This doctrine is used to extort money from those who hope to shorten the suffering of their loved ones that they may leave purgatory and enter into Heaven. The fact is, there is no where to be found in our Bible that indicates that there is an intermediate state between Heaven and Hell! There are others that teach soul- sleep.

68. These scholars teach that, at the death of a Saint, the soul sleeps in the grave with the dead body and does not awaken until the Resurrection of the Believers body. Perhaps that doctrine came into being from the textual usage of the word "sleep" for the death of a Believer.

69. In {1- Thessalonians 4:14} God states that, at the return of Christ, He will Resurrect both His dead and live Saints and that all of them will meet the Lord In the air. {V.14-18} makes clear that when the Resurrection takes place, those "also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him."

70. {Acts 7:60} says that, at the death of Stephen that "he fell asleep." However, only the dead body sleeps or rather rests in the grave, not the soul and spirit! Death of a Child of God certainly does not refer to oblivion or darkness. Rather the believer's death is absolutely a new beginning into a bright and glorious life in the Heavenlies with Christ.

71. The case of the thief who died on a cross next to Christ, spoken of in {Luke 23:39-43}, proves that when a Saint dies, he or she immediately enters into the paradise of God. Of course, those who die without Christ immediately enter into Hell. Jesus told this penitent thief that because he had believed in Christ as the Messiah, he would enter into Paradise that very day along with the Lord Jesus.

72. While on His cross Jesus said, "Father, into Your hands I command My spirit {Luke 23:46}." Jesus, and this man, who had in life been a thief, went into Paradise. Paradise, before Jesus was Resurrected to set at the right hand of the Father, was located down somewhere in the center parts of this world. Nevertheless it was still a part of Heaven for those who died during the Old Testament period.

73. The Apostle's creed, quoted by many folks states... that Jesus died and "descended into hell." This statement is very misleading in the English language. In {Psalm 16:10} Christ said... "You will not leave My soul in Hell." This means that The Father would never allow the soul of Jesus to continually dwell in the Paradise section of Hades where all dead Saints were to dwell until the Resurrection of the Believers.

74. When a Saved, or yes, even a lost soul left the body, at the time of death, it went into Sheol. The word "Sheol" simply refers to the unseen state or the place of the Soul of the dead. All of this is explained much better in our message concerning Sheol, where we bring out each of the 65 places Sheol is referred to in our Bible. Be sure and read the Sheol message!

75. It must be emphasized that Christ had to be the first fruits of the dead. Therefore, no one who had died before Jesus died could be translated into the third Heaven. The Third Heaven, is the very abode of the Father. Christ Himself was Resurrected to that place. Remember when Samuel was brought up from the paradise section of the underworld to talk to King Saul which we have talked about before? Samuel didn't come down from Heaven but ascended up from the underworld to converse with Saul. Scripture...

76. {V.14} "And he [King Saul] said to her [The witch], What form is he [Samuel] of? And she said, An old man COMES UP; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he [Saul] stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.

77. {V.15} And Samuel said to him, Why have you disquieted me [disturbed my rest], to bring me UP? ... {See 1- Samuel 28:14-15}."

You notice that Samuel had some type of a soulish body, other wise how could he be covered with a mantle, which, is a "loose sleeveless cloak?." See no. 64 on page 4. {See also 2- Kings 2:13-14}.

78. Scripture "For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall [Christ] the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth {Matthew 12:40}." {See Jonah 1:17}.

[As we have said, Paradise was somewhere down in the center parts of this World].

79. After Jesus being in Paradise 3 days and 3 nights, He was Resurrected up to the third Heaven to the Father and then He transferred the Paradise section with all the Saints, that occupied it, up into the abode of God. From that day forward all the souls and spirits of the Saints have ascended up into Heaven the very second they died.

80. All these heavenly Saints will reside in Paradise awaiting the arrival of the rest of the Saints in the Body of Christ. They have only soulish bodies which contain their souls and spirits until they will receive their celestial bodies, at the Resurrection [Rapture].

81. In {Luke 16:19-31} the Lord gives us a clear picture as to how a soul of a Believer went immediately to Paradise when it was still located in the heart of the earth and also how the soul of the unconverted went immediately to Hell. A certain rich man is pictured as living sumptuously during his lifetime before he died, and a poor beggar named Lazarus laid at the rich mans gate with sores all over his body.

82. The beggar died as a Child of God, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom, meaning the Paradise section of Hades. Jesus said, "The rich man also died, and was buried; and in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments."

83. Christ revealed the conversation that took place between Abraham in Paradise and the rich man that was in Hell. There certainly wasn't any soul sleep or purgatory in either of those places. There was a large gulf in Hades or rather a large space between the Paradise section and the Hell section where no one could cross over from Hell into Paradise. The words to the rich man from Abraham was as follows...

84. "And besides this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed; so that they that would pass from here to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from there {Luke 16:26}."

85. The Apostle Paul stated that, to be absent from the body [for a Christian] is to be present with the Lord. In {2- Corinthians 5:8}, he states by Divine inspiration, "we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." This could not be clearer, every Saint who passes on to his or her reward, does so instantaneously. When the person dies, he passes on into Paradise of Heaven where their souls are obviously carried straight into the presence of Jesus in Heaven by angels.

Positively, You And All Other Children Of God Will Know Each Other In Heaven.

86. A question arises as to whether Saints will have the same characteristics such as personality in Heaven. The truth is, there will be a great difference in each of us because we will take on the likeness of Christ where no sin will plague us as it did while we were on the earth. Our personalities in Heaven will all be in perfection. Yet we will be so similar in that we will be recognizable to each other just as the rich man recognized Abraham after both of them had died.

87. The rich man, after going to Hell, has reversed himself from being rich to becoming a beggar, while the beggar who had been very poor on earth now became very rich with eternal life and everlasting comfort in joyful living, with all the comforts that Heaven has to offer him. Of course, all Christians are Saints and all the Saints will assuredly know one another in the after life!

88.While living on the earth, folks tend to look on appearances and personalities. We cannot look into a person's mind and see the flaws and various quirks that makes one tick . But Jesus, being all knowing and in His omnipresence, all things are known by Him {See 1- Samuel 16:7}. No one can read the motives of your mind.

89. Very often we misjudge each other in truth and tend to judge some individual as they were in a younger life. Many times, we fail to realize that everyone should be given the benefit of the doubt. We should remember that we become wiser with age and experience and can change with the help of Christ. The trouble is, where Christ has forgiven countless sinners, humans much of the time stubbornly refuse to even forgive their own family members. Scripture...

90. {V.1} "Judge not, that you be not judged. [In other words ... "Do not judge, criticize and dam others to hell, so that you may not be judged, criticized and condemned yourselves]."

This does not mean that one is never, in any sense or to any extent, to judge another, for {v.5} indicates that when one's own life becomes right with God he should "cast the mote out" of the brother's eye.

91. {V.2} For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again.

92. {V.3} And why behold you the mote [a very small particle] that is in your brother's eye, but [do not become aware of and] considers not the beam [of timber] that is in your own eye?

93. {V.4} Or how will you say to your brother, Let me pull out the [tiny particle] mote out of your eye; and, behold, a [large] beam [of timber] in your own eye?

94. {V.5} You hypocrite, first cast out the beam [of timber] out of your own eye; and then shall you see clearly to cast out the mote [tiny particle] out of your brother's eye {Matthew 7:1-5}." [A mote is a small, dry particle, but can refer to sin in our life].

95. Only in Heaven shall we really know how some people love us. There are some folks that we take fore granted as being our friends, but many of them only act as such. Some people act as friends only to use us and then talk about us behind our backs. It has been said, that one can usually count his real friends on the fingers of one hand and still have a few fingers left.

96. Only in Heaven shall we know how deep was the repentance for sin in the life of another person and if that person really was our friend while living here on the earth! They so longed to do the right thing even though they may not have appeared to try.

97. One thing you can be sure of, in Heaven, you will know every single person without any introduction. You will know all the Bible characters you have read about plus all your family members of past ages who have become Believers just as you have. These organs of clay in the human body have no senses when their master, the soul, is departed. God is Spirit, yet, Scripture...

98. "the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart [mind] is perfect [blameless] toward Him..." {2- Chronicles 16:9}.

99. God is Spirit {A Spiritual being, John 4:24}, yet the voice of God spoke from Mount Sinai, "And God spoke all these words {Exodus 20:1}."

There is no doubt that those in the Paradise of God do sing, speak , hear, see and rejoice! Life is definitely much more richer, fuller, happier and more real with the Saints in glory than with the Saints that are yet abiding on this earth.

100. After we have received the witnessing that is portrayed throughout the Scriptures, it is so wonderful and sweet when we remember all the testimonies of the multitudes of dying Christians. Many times children of God have rejoiced when they were dying. They heard the angels of God singing. They have seen the souls of loved ones including the Lord Jesus Christ Himself in Heaven. All of those they saw had outstretched arms waiting for them to leave this body of clay and ascend into the Heavens to be joined with themselves in glory.

101. While Stephen was being stoned to death, with the Apostle Paul as a witness, Stephen, being filled with the Holy Spirit, was looking at the Lord Jesus who was standing at the right hand of God the Father in the Third Heaven. Stephen said, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. There was no hallucination here; this was very real. He actually saw all this and made it known to those present while he was dying. Multitudes of dying Christians have given testimonies while recognizing the inhabitants of Paradise.

Children Of God In Heaven Observe Us On Earth With Complete Knowledge And Interest.

102. Many folks have often ask ... if their loved ones in Heaven know what is taking place with us here on the earth? We can answer them with assurance and show how they do know what is going on down here. Those Saints not only know but have a very caring attitude toward us.

103. A question has been ask , "how could a Saintly mother in Paradise possibly be happy when she knows some of her children down here on the earth are living in sin?" "How can a Father in Heaven be rejoicing there when he realizes his son died unconverted and is now abiding in Hell?"

104. "How can people in Paradise be happy and rejoicing while they know about the wicked conditions with all the crime and diseases and various other atrocities taking place on the earth?" "How can Jesus be happy when He can see into Hell, how the lost of this world are burning and suffering, being tormented in flaming fire?" The Bible states...

105. "He shall see the travail of his soul, and be satisfied {Isaiah 53:11}."

While Christ was still upon the earth, He certainly looked forward to once again being united in Heaven with the Father.

106. Scripture "Looking to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God {Hebrews 12:2}."

107. Of course, the Lord is very happy in the abode of the Father, even though He is well aware of all the wickedness in this world. Likewise the Saints in Paradise are happy also. The trouble is, the believers in Paradise are being looked on according to the standards of earth- minded people.

108. We believe that all true Believers are troubled because of all the unbelieving Christ rejecters of this world. On the other hand, there is no doubt we will all be completely satisfied after we are Resurrected into Heaven and have joined those Saints that are already there!

109. At the White Throne judgment, when lost humanity are judged and transferred to the Prison of no return, we Saints will all be satisfied. All the unrepentant people who would have nothing to do with Christ, who had rejected God's Word, rejected the pleading of the Holy Spirit, who had rejected the teachings and pleading of other Believers, and have trampled underfoot the blood of Jesus...

110. All of this will not cause even one Child of God in Heaven to be unhappy! Men and women in Heaven will forever be comforted even though their spouses and children are in Hell. God will wipe away all tears, and all crying, troubles and pain will have ended.

111. Most certainly, folks in Paradise of Heaven will know what is going on, on this earth. Scripture well substantiates this by various illustrations. Samuel the prophet knew what was taking place here on the earth even though he was in his soulish body in Paradise. He knew all about the sins taking place in the life of King Saul.

112. He knew about some of the future predictions that God would eventually enforce and even what would transpire the following day {Read 1- Samuel 28:16-19}. What clearer evidence can be found to prove that Believers know and understand what is taking place on this earth?

113. The rich man in Hell was very concerned about his brothers, he knew that they were still unbelievers and this is why he ask for help to save his family, he said, Scripture...

114. "... I pray You therefore, Father, that You would send him to my fathers house: for I have five brothers; that he may testify to them, lest they also come into this place of torment {Luke 16:27-28}."

115. Abraham, since he was in paradise himself actually knew more about what was to take place then the rich man, he stated,

116. Scripture "... If they [the rich mans brothers] hear not [and do not understand and completely ignore the writings of ] Moses and the [writings of the other] prophets, neither will they be persuaded [even], though one rose from the dead [as a witness to explain all these things to them] {Luke 16:31}."

117. Isn't it amazing that those both in Heaven and Hell are intensely concerned about the conversion of those whom are in a lost condition here on the earth, while multitudes of professed Saints whom are present and have the opportunity to witness to the unsaved, continue to only find interest in worldly endeavors?

118. At the meeting of those on the Mount of Transfiguration, do you think they only spoke about Heavenly things? The answer of course is "no." The discussion was naturally about those future events that would eventually transpire on the earth. For sure the conversation concerned the death and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus at Jerusalem and other things. {See Luke 9:31}.

119. No doubt about it, the Believers in the Heavenlies were aware of both the troubles and blessings that was taking place down here below and also what Christ was accomplishing in His ministry. We have mentioned this before but to go over it again,

120. {V.9} Scripture "And when He {Christ, the Lamb] had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain [and had been sacrificed] for [adhering to] the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

121. {V.10} And they cried with a loud voice, saying, how long, O [Sovereign] Lord, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? {See Genesis 4:10; & Zechariah 1:12};

122. {V.11} And [long flowing and festive] white robes were given to every one of them; and it was said to them, that they should [patiently] rest yet for a little season, until [the number of] their fellow servants also and their brethren that should be killed as they were, [that the 7 year Tribulation prophecies], should be fulfilled {Revelation 6:9-11}."

123. These Believers knew and recognized the atrocities being performed upon the persecuted Saints that were still present on the earth. Isn't it amazing that the spiritual beings understand and actually see what is going on? Again we repeat... they under this altar had soulish bodies because they were given white robes to wear until they would receive their eternal celestial bodies at the future return of Jesus!

124. Those in Paradise are certainly concerned about what they see taking place down here below. Also even the Heavenly Angels are very interested and concerned about what is to take place. The Lord stated, Scripture...

125. "I say to you, that likewise [more] joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner that repents [that is changes his mind, abhorring his past errors and misdeeds and determines to enter upon a better course of life and turns to Christ], more than ninety and nine just [righteous] persons [who are already in a right relationship with God], which need no repentance {Luke 15:7}." And again Jesus stated,

126. "... I say to you, there is joy [among and] in the presence of the angels of God over one [especially wicked] sinner [on this earth] that repents {Luke 15:10}." [which means that angels are observing us].

127. There are multitudes of Children of God that abide in the presence of the Angels in Paradise along with the Lord Jesus Himself. All of them rejoice when an unbeliever is born into the household of the Lord.

128. It must be understood that we have Angels, here on earth with us, acting the part of ministering spirits who minister to us continually. But also, many Angels ministered to those Saints that are in Heaven before they died. We believe that Angels carried the souls of those Saint after their death up into Paradise to be with the Lord! {See Luke 16:22; 23:43; & 2- Corinthians 12:4}.

129. Obviously, all God's Saints and Angels there praise the Lord with joy over every Believer that has been saved here on this earth! Think how relieved and happy your mother, father, and grand parents are when you are saved and when you lead a lost sinner to the Lord. The Lord stated that many came to Him by their Faith, such as Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, and all the multitudes that followed them.

130. Scripture "Therefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony of the truth], let us [strip off and] lay aside every [encumbrance ... unnecessary] weight, and the sin which does so easily [deftly and cleverly] beset [clings to and entangles] us, and let us run with patience [endurance and steady active persistence] the [appointed course of the] race that is set before us,

113. looking [away from all that will distract] to Jesus the author [Leader, Source] and finisher of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief]; Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising [and ignoring] the shame, and is [at this very time] set down at the right hand of the throne of God [the Father] {Hebrews 12:1-2}."

132. We believe that those witnesses allude to the Heavenly host that are constantly following mankind around over this earth with their eyes, and with a very deep concern about our well being. In the past, there were arenas placed in various places throughout the known world with people acting out the part of actors. The audience naturally were the witnesses sitting in the assembly looking on.

133. Doesn't it seem as if the same thing has been taking place for millenniums ... concerning the testing of folks stationed here on the earth? Haven't we humans been playing a part since we were born? Could this be our testing ground? Are we acting on the stage of the earth?

Do you suppose that the Angels, the Saints in Heaven and the Spirit of God are the spiritual audience watching us while we are being tested and acting the part of a judgmental body to see if we pass the final test? What do you think? The Lord uses Angels in different ways.

134. Those of us who become Believers and Children of God the Father will have passed the test. But those who fail the test are the ones whom will remain unbelievers and will be judged as such! One of the best pictures of testing was the testing of Job. This writer will paraphrase a small portion of the following text, Scripture...

135. {V.6} "Now there was a day when the sons of God [Angles] came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan [the adversary and accuser of the righteous] came also among them. {See Revelation 12:10}.

136. The words "Sons of God" in the Old Testament always refers to Angels. In the New Testament, Sons of God refer to those whom become Sons by adoption after they become Saints. Saints cannot be appointed, or voted in as a Saint by men, all Believers become Saints automatically when they first become Christians! What we mean by adoption, when we become Saints, we are adopted by God as His adopted children.

137. {V.7} And the Lord said to Satan, [from] Where did you come from? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, from traveling back and forth upon the earth, and from walking up and down on it.

138. {V.8} And the Lord said to Satan, have you considered My servant Job, that there is nobody [on the earth] like him, [he is] a perfect and an upright man, one that fears [and is obedient in reverence to] God, and escheweth [abstains from and shuns] evil [because it is wrong]?

139. {V.9} Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, doesn't Job [reverently] fear God for anything?

140. {V.10} Haven't You placed a hedge [of protection] around him, and around his home, and around all that he has on every side of him? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance [material] wealth has increased in the land.

141. {V.11} But put forth Your hand now, and touch [destroy] all that he has, and he will curse You to Your face.

142. {V.12} And the Lord said to Satan [the adversary and the accuser], Behold, all that he has [I put] in your power; only upon himself put not forth your hand [to destroy him]. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord {Job 1:6-12}."

[We paraphrased much of this text, so read your Bible along with these verses and you will see that we haven't taken anything from them].

143. The rest of the chapter tells the rest of the story and {v.22} says that even though Satan took everything from Job, "In all this Job sinned not, nor did he charge and blame God foolishly."

144. What better understanding of the love for God could be presented than the love this great man manifested for Him? Since the grandstand on high is filled with so many Saintly observers, all sin should be cast from us and we should only look to the Lord for those blessings that has been predicted for us. Like the Apostle Paul, who ran the good race and finished his ministry, those Christians whom are in the balcony of Paradise are observing the rest of us with the hope we will do the same as Paul.

145. There was a great burden in the mind of Paul for the salvation of his Hebrew brothers and sisters. If we feel any less burdened for the lost of this earth, then shame on us. We do not believe that the Lord is so continually secretive concerning mankind here on this earth, that He keeps everybody in Heaven blind to what is taking place on the earth.

146. Just remember this, Christ died for all mankind, thus, since we Christians are ambassadors of Christ and have the ministry of reconciliation to proclaim to lost folks, should we not be more aggressive in proclaiming the truth of salvation to the rest of humanity? {See 2- Corinthians Ch. 5:14-21}.

147. Even though the burden may seem to be heavy, actually it is really easier than one might think. When human power fails, we must not forget that the power of God the Holy Spirit is continually with us to use if we will only have the faith to depend upon it. When all else fails us, we will always have the very presence of the Lord Jesus to sustain us. And there is a payday on the way, that is much more important than the next paycheck .

148. Think of the joy that takes place in Heaven when an unbeliever is reborn into the family of the Lord! When Christians are pleading with the unsaved to become Children of God and they do, we praise and thank God for dying on the cross that many souls might be saved to Him.

149. When I observe the lost being saved, I look up toward Heaven with tears in my eyes thanking Jesus. I believe that my Mother and other family members are there looking down on me from the great arena in Paradise witnessing the salvation of a lost soul that has just taken place.

I believe that I can almost see my Mother rejoicing as she sees her prayers being answered and her son fulfilling his ministry by teaching that wonderful Gospel of Christ. Then, "there is also great and wonderful joy and happiness in Heaven!"

150. Since Heaven is so near and since such a multitude of witnesses are overshadowing us, we must run and hurry with the patience of the prophets of old, laying aside the weights which are the sins of unbelief. The Lord will bestow on us the faith that a soul winner must have, while those spectators in Paradise view us continually from Heaven. In the near future we shall share with the Heavenly host, the soul winner's rewards and wear the soul winner's crown.

151. We will also rejoice with the angels as they rejoice with the Lord. It is a solemn, yet a most comforting fact, taught by the Scriptures, that in Paradise our testing on earth is being observed. They watch our every step! We are so precious to the Saints in Heaven and they are looking forward to our home coming.

152.  Some folks will sadly say, "in order to reach Heaven, death must first take place," and naturally it is saddening when we lose a loved one. But we should not fear death for ourselves, if we are born again Saints. "To die is gain." Naturally, Christians should look forward to going to Heaven without dying! A Believer's life should show evidence of their salvation. We should teach the wonders of becoming Saints of God and that it is Paradise to gain and Hell that everyone must shun.

153. Believers must not see the death of a loved one as a tragedy, but look at it as a promotion to a better existence. There can be no sad recourse for a Child of God. Some folks have stated that when one dies so young that it is a very cruel thing that the person had no chance to live a life time. Satan is only deceiving them. No matter what the age of a child of God, when he or she passes on to the other side, it will be a glorious beginning!

154. It has been stated that "many buds that grew on earth have blossomed in the Heavenlies." To morn the death of a loved one is a natural thing to do. Could it be, that much of our sorrow is for ourselves? [Of course it is]! The fact is, there will be great rejoicing in Heaven at the death of those whom are Saints of God. Scripture...

155. {V.1} "A good name is better than precious ointment [perfume]; and the day of death [for a Believer is more precious] than the day of one's birth.

156. [Through a series of proverbial statements, Solomon offers counsel concerning wisdom and folly].

157. {V.2} It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart [mind] {Ecclesiastes 7:1-2}."

158. [A visit to a home stricken by tragedy reminds one of the brevity of life and of the need for wise living. Such a visit is better for a person than a visit to a place of boisterous festivity. Naturally, there is always two ways to look at most anything].

159. {V.14} I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever: nothing can be put [added] to it, nor anything taken from it: and God does it, that man should [reverently worship and] fear before Him {Ecclesiastes 3:14}." Scripture...

160. "The [reverent] fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. {Psalm 9:9}. [The word "Reverend" is found only once in the Bible] Scripture...

161. "He [God] sent redemption to His people: He has commanded His covenant for ever: Holy and "REVEREND" is His Name {Psalm 111:9},"

162. [No man or woman should be called Reverend because the word refers to someone who is without sin. Neither should anyone allow anyone else to call himself or herself reverend for the word refers only to God Himself]!

163. {V.17} Scripture "Every good gift and every perfect [free, large and full] gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of [all that gives light, knowledge. The shining of] lights, with Whom is no variableness [variation, rising or setting], neither shadow of turning [as in an eclipse].

164. {V.18} Of His [Christ's] Own [free] will begat He us [He gave us to be born as adopted Children of God] with the Word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures [a sample of what He created to be consecrated to Himself] {James 1:17-18}."

165. Every good gift {V.17}. Both the gift and the act of giving. The point is that all these good things come from above. This statement may have come from an early Christmas hymn. Father of lights... physical, intellectual, moral, and spiritual... And Christ does not change. of His own will {V.18}.

God's will or purpose is the cause of our regeneration [begat he us] by means of the Gospel message. First fruits. These first Believers, largely Hebrew [Jewish] in background, were the guarantee of a fuller harvest of Believers to come.

166. Scripture "Precious [important and no light matter] in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints {Psalm 116:15}."

167. Scripture "He shall redeem their soul from deceit [oppression, fraud] and violence: [costly] and precious shall their blood be in His sight {Psalm 72:14}."

168. The Bible states that death for those whom are lost is horrible, but wonderful for the Child of God.

169. Scripture "And I heard a voice from Heaven [perceiving the distinct words] saying to me, Write, Blessed [happy to be envied] are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth [from now on]: yes, [blessed... happy to be envied indeed] says the [Holy] Spirit, [in] that they may rest from their labors; and their works [deeds] do follow [attend, & accompany] them {Revelation 14:13}." Blessed and happy are the Christian dead!...

170. {V.21} Scripture "For me to live is Christ [His life in me], and to die is gain [the gain of the glory of eternity in Heaven].

171. {V.22} But if [however] I [am to] live [on here] in the flesh, [that means that] this is the fruit of my labour [and service for me]: yet [I can say nothing as to my personal preference concerning] what I shall choose I wot not [I don't know or cannot choose].

172. {V.23} for I am in a strait [hard pressed] between [the] two, having a [yearning] desire to depart [to be free of this world, to set forth], and to be with Christ; which is [definitely far,] far better {Philippians 1:21-23}."

173. Paul stated that it is always gain to die in order to be with Christ. Thus, happy, fortunate or blessed are the dead who die as Christians. Therefore, the Believer should continually look forward to going up into Paradise. Wonderful will be that day when the Resurrection of the Body of Christ takes place.

If Jesus postpones the Resurrection for a while longer, it is still a blessed thing for a Saint to die even though only his soul and spirit will be carried up to be with Christ. "The righteous has hope in death {Proverbs 14:32}."

174. The Apostle Paul longed to be with the Lord and so should every Believer. He spoke of being absent from the body to be present with the Lord in Heaven, we should also think about that. No doubt, Jesus has the same desire for His Holy Body of Believers to be with Him, only God alone knows the very second when this will take place!

175. Many of us cannot understand how Jesus can love us so much, but we know He does because He makes that very clear in His holy Word. He also proves His love by the multitudes of blessings and by the mercies He bestows upon us. We love Him even though we have never laid eyes on Him, what a glorious sight it will be when we can look upon Him face to face!

176. I know that there are many in Heaven who will be happy to see me. Several of you readers can remember the end of World War Two and the previous wars. I'm sure it has been the same in every war. Did you hear the bedlam in an army camp when the news arrived that the war had ended?

177. This writer did, he was in one of those camps when World War Two ended. Many army personnel were immediately ready with the hope to be discharged and go home to be with their families. This is something no soldier will ever forget, he had the hope to soon be with his wife, parents or sweet- heart.

178. The hope the soldiers had of going home, is similar to the hope we Christians should have of the time when we, with great joy and expectation, are called home to be with our loved ones in Heaven. My mother left eight children behind when she went to Heaven, but she already had three others in Heaven waiting there to welcome her into paradise.

179. Three had died as infants, a pair of twins, "a boy and girl" who had died at birth, and a "girl" who had died at the age of three months. Don't you know that they were all happy to be together again knowing that they never again would be separated?

180. Death is gain for the Christian. Never again will sin have any power over him. It was because of the sins of the flesh that made Paul cry out, "O [unhappy, pitiful and] wretched man, that I am! who shall deliver [and release] me from the [shackles of the] body of this death? {Romans 7:24}." After the death of a saint, those that hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled. Then the pure in heart shall see God. There will be no more tears for the loved ones who had died before. All the saved will be with Jesus.

181. There will be no more worry over family members associating with evil companions. Lot, the nephew of Abraham, worried in his righteous soul because of the evil deeds of the people in the city of Sodom. Samuel, with a broken heart, cried to the Lord all night because of the sinful life of King Saul. Christians today must think and heed the admonition of the Lord, Scripture...

182. "Fret not yourself because of evil doers, neither be you envious against the workers of iniquity. [And unrighteousness... that which is not upright, nor in right standing with God] {Psalm 37:1}."

183. Praise God, in Heaven there will be no sin, evil companions, persecutors, liquor, taverns, nothing that leads to any form of sin. The truth is, no "abusers of themselves" "nor drunkards" "shall inherit the kingdom of God" {See 1- Corinthians 6:9-10}. Speaking of those who drink, the first swallow of an alcoholic drink begins the process of intoxication. This is why the Word of God has so much to say against drinking strong drink! Drinking is a sin against God but what about cursing?

184. Many curse God by taking His name in vain, and a great many of these people who drink and curse are those who profess Christ outwardly but have no shame while drinking and cursing during a normal conversation. Even in taverns it is called socializing and of course that is just what it is! Naturally the same thing takes place in many so-called Christian homes! Thank God, you will find nothing like that in Heaven.

185. Paul made clear that some things you do, even though they seem right to you, can hurt other people and may cause them to turn their back on Christ. They will think that if Christians do those things that point toward sin, then what is the use of trying to live a Christ- like life themselves? Scripture...

186. {V.28} "But if any man say to you, This is [has been] offered in sacrifice to idols, eat [it] not for his sake that showed it [out of consideration for the person that informed you], and for conscience sake; for the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof:

187. {V.29} [I mean for the sake of his] Conscience, I say, not your own [do not eat or drink it] ...,

188. {V.31} [So then] Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the [honor and] glory of God.

189. {V.32} Give none offence [do not let yourselves be hindrances to others by your mode of life], neither to the Jews [Hebrews], nor to the Gentiles, Nor to the church of God... [which takes in everybody who are Christians whether they were Jews or Gentiles]:

190. {V.33} Even as I [myself strive to] please [and to accommodate myself to the opinions, desires and interests of] all men in all things [that I do], not [aiming] seeking [at or considering] my own profit [and advantage], but the profit of many [in order] that they may be saved {1- Corinthians 10:28-29; &- V: 31-33}."

191. We must be considerate of others to see that they will also go to Heaven someday. We must also live a good Christian life before them! All born again Believers will eventually be called up into Heaven!

192. The Cherubim [an angelic being] in Heaven cry: "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord, God Almighty." Thus, the real born again children of God after being called up into Paradise will praise God the same as the Angels and will enjoy complete freedom from even the thought of sin. Therefore, it is a wonderful blessing to die as a Christian knowing what is in-store for us in the future.

193. Abraham when conversing with the rich man who was in Hell of Hades, stated, "... now he [Lazarus] is comforted [in Paradise], and you are tormented {Luke 16:25}. Jesus said, "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted {Matthew 5:4}," For sure, weeping may endure for a short time, but very shortly afterwards, eternal joy will take place {See Psalm 30:5}.

194. There is no disappointment in Heaven, no weariness, sorrow or pain;

No hearts that are bleeding and broken, no song with a minor refrain.

The clouds of our earthly horizon will never appear in the sky,

For all will be sunshine and gladness, with never a sob or a sigh.

We'll never pay rent for our mansion, no taxes will come due;

Our garments will not grow threadbare, but always be fadeless and new;

We'll never be hungry nor thirsty, nor languish in poverty there,

For all the rich bounties of Heaven Christ's sanctified children will share.

There'll never be wreaths on the door, no funeral train in the sky;

No graves on the hillsides of glory, for there we shall never more die.

The old will be young there forever, transformed in a moment of time;

Immortal we'll stand in Christ's likeness, the stars and the sun to outshine.

I'm bound for that beautiful city my Lord has prepared for His own;

Where all the redeemed of all ages sing "Glory" around Christ's throne;

I will no more be homesick for Heaven, And the glories I there shall behold:

What a joy that will be when my Saviour I see, In that beautiful city of gold.

195. Sometimes it seems that we are very weary. Scripture states...

"And let us not [lose heart and] be weary in well doing [and in acting nobly and doing right]: for in due [time and at the appointed] season we shall reap, if we faint not [if we do not loosen and relax our courage] {Galatians 6:9}." Christ stated, Scripture...

196. "I [Christ, and His followers] must work the works of Him that sent Me [or us, and be busy with the Father's business] while it is day [light, before the beginning of the Tribulation Period]: the night [Tribulation Period] comes, when no man can work {John 9:4}."

Paul stated that he was a greater Apostle in that he was "In labor more abundant {2- Corinthians 11:23}." He labored " Night and day with tears {see 1- Corinthians 15:10; 2- Corinthians 11:23; & Acts 20:31}."

197. Paul warned people both publicly and from house to house. He almost killed himself by over-working, see {2- Corinthians 1:8}. It is very sad and very shameful for a Child of God to be slothful when it comes to soul winning. While the harvest of souls is ready to reap, we must hurry and win the lost to Christ before it is too late.

198. We have no time to rest. The time to reap the harvest for the Body of Christ will end shortly. But, there will be a time to rest from our labors as soon as the resurrection of the Body of Christ takes place. This will be part of the blessings that the Lord promises us when we die in the Lord. Scripture...

199. "And I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: yes, says [God] the [Holy] Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them {Revelation 14:13}."

200. Can you imagine the wonderful contentment you will have in Heaven? When we were young, many of us were aggressive to get ahead and accumulate our fortunes. We were aggressive and worked hard to amass wealth in order to purchase all our worldly goods. But in Heaven we will have eternal rest from all those labors.

201. In the Paradise of God we will never grow weary or need any rest. We will not need any special benefits, nor will we look forward to social security or other retirement income. We will have everything we wish for at our fingertips and the Lord will know our very desires before we wish for anything.

202. When we arrive in Paradise, the weariness we have gone through on the earth will have ended. It will be a marvelous event when we can sit on the edge of the river of life where there are fruit trees that will give us shade and bare 12 different kinds of fruit every month for our joy and comfort. Scripture...

203. "In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the [spiritual] healing of the nations {Revelation 22:2}." {See Genesis 2:9}.

204. Here on the earth, hard labor has been part of the curse the Lord laid at our door because of our inherited sins from our first parents, Adam and Eve. In our fields, we find bushes and weeds with briars and thorns. Many thistles thrive in our yards and gardens which cause constant labor for us to grow food. When we are resurrected from this earth up to Paradise we are going to find rest from all past toil. How glorious it is going to be.

205. We are to work, for the cause of the Lord here on this earth by witnessing to people in order for them to hear the Word and be saved. The fruit of our labors on the earth will bring many rewards for us in Heaven. Treasures in Heaven are really something to look forward to. We believe that this was in the mind of the Apostle Paul when he wrote in his letter to Timothy and stated, Scripture...

206. {V.6} "For I am now [about] ready to be offered [sacrificed], and the time of my departure is at hand.

207. {V.7} I have fought a good [worthy, honorable and noble] fight; I have finished my course [race], I have kept the faith:

208. {V.8} [As to what remains] Henceforth there is laid up [in Heaven] for me a [victor's] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right], which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, shall give me [a reward] at that day; and not to me only, but to all them also that love [and have yearned and will welcome] His [Christ's] appearing {2- Timothy 4:6-8}."

209. It should be apparent to all Believers that part of their rewards will be eternal life when they rule and reign with Him in the Heavenlies. Naturally Paul was aware of this throughout his earthly ministry. He knew that he would in that day be united with all the Saints that was saved before and after his own death because of many things the lord had- had him write in his various Epistles.

210. He knew that he had personally won scores of Believers to the Lord while he taught them the Gospel of Grace before his death. And now he, after dying, would see those who had followed, believed and became children of God because of what he had taught them. His works certainly would follow him. Daniel the Prophet being filled with the knowledge God prophesied and stated,

211. Scripture "And [the teachers] they that are wise [and have taught the true Word of God] shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness [to uprightness and right standing with God shall give forth light like] as the stars for ever and ever {Daniel 12:3}."

112. There can be no doubt, that rewards which are received by Saints in Heaven, will be received only after their death and Resurrection from this earth up into Paradise. With all sincerity, the Saints of God can truthfully say, "To die is gain" and "to depart and be with Christ is far better." {See Philippians 1:21; & Revelation 14:13}.

The Lord Jesus As Prophet, Priest And King Will Return Very Soon Now To Resurrect The Body Of Christ Into Paradise!

213. My Mother would of smiled, rejoiced and asked someone to sing some good old Christian songs of her time, had she not been unconscious at death, when she was called to be with the Lord. And two years before that, the Mother of my wife had already been received up into Paradise.

214. Can you imagine how happy they both are in their new Heavenly Home? Thus, when one of their Children or grandchildren received Christ after that, they would undoubtedly praise God with their hearts full of joy, for they know that in a very short space of time their children will be with them.

215. Death is a door into Heaven. We should realize that death isn't the only door to Heaven. Millions of Saints will be resurrected into Heaven without seeing the sting of death. Countless Believers who have died in the past, had the hope of being Resurrected in the Rapture, while still alive, so that physical death would not overtake them. As we have stated, death for a Saint is nothing to be feared, but is really a blessing.

216. Very soon now, Jesus is going to appear to resurrect His Saints! Those of us that are still alive in that day will be caught up from off this earth to be with Christ. We will then be with Him, with no more dying or sickness. Our worn-out bodies will be changed into brand new celestial bodies. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus said to His followers,

217. Scripture "And if [when] I go and prepare a place for you, I will come [back] again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there you may be also {John 14:3}."

218. Christians in all generations were [in the past, and are now, and will in the future] be watching continually for the coming of our Lord Jesus. To Resurrect all dead and all alive Saints from off the earth, to dwell with Him eternally in the heavenlies. Many folks ask the question...

219. "How can Jesus dwell in the Heavens with the Body of Christ when Scripture makes clear that He will be dwelling on the earth as the King of Kings with the Saved of the nations? Which refers of course, to those whom are to remain on the earth after the Tribulation Period?"

220. Since Jesus is the Second Person of the Trinitarian Godhead Who are all three actually One God, and since God is omnipresent, which means that all things in the universal realm of God no matter where that may be, will continually be in the presence of Christ. Whether a Saint is in Heaven or on the earth, God will be with him or her always! {See 1- Timothy 3:16; Titus 2:13; & John 1:1}. Scripture...

221. "The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good {Proverbs 15:3}."

"Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do {Hebrews 4:13}." "Does not He see my ways and count all my steps? {See Job 31:4}."

222. Certainly, there have been multitudes of Christians die in the past and each day of our life others will die. But not all of God's Saints will have to die. The Lord alone knows the precise time when He will come down and resurrect the Body of Christ from off this earth.

223. When it takes place, as we have already stated before, there will be many millions of Saints still alive upon this earth that will be changed into celestial bodies. They will be removed from the earth up into Heaven and this is the Blessed Hope of every single Believer of this age today! It is very sad that... many folks do not understand this fact. Scripture...

224. "Looking for that blessed hope, and the Glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity [sin], and purify unto Himself a peculiar [protected] people, zealous of good works {Titus 2:13-14}." {See Jeremiah 17:7; Romans 5:2; 15:4; &- 1- Peter 1:21}. Scripture...

225. "Behold I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep [in death], but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead [bodies of Christian Saints] shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed [changed into a Heavenly celestial body of perfection] {1- Corinthians 15:51-52}."

226. What we are very assured of is, "that whether we are to die or are to be caught up alive," either way we will reside eternally with Christ. So, again, why should we fear death? The Apostle Paul, Peter, and John are awaiting the Rapture just like your mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and other family members who are dead in Christ. No Child of God, SINCE "the Body of Christ first begin," have as yet received their Resurrected bodies, and cannot until the Rapture takes place. Scripture...

227. {V.13} "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them [Christians] which are asleep [in the grave "QUEBER" where their dead bodies are resting], that you sorrow [and worry] not, even as others which have no hope.

228. {V.14} For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus [those whom have died and their souls and spirit have already gone to Heaven] will God bring with Him [from Paradise in heaven].

229. {V.15} For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord [meaning those Christians that are still alive at the "Resurrection," RAPTURE] shall not prevent them which are asleep [in death from being Resurrected].

230. {V.16} For the Lord Himself shall descend [come down] from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel [Michael], and with the trumpet [last call] of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

231. {V.17} Then we which are [still] alive and remain shall be caught up together with them [the dead Christians] in the clouds [atmosphere of the earth], to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we [the whole Body of Christ together] ever be with the Lord.

232. {V.18} Wherefore comfort one another with these words {1- Thessalonians 4:13-18}."

[You notice that I added my own parenthesis in these verses for a better understanding].

233. As we have already stated... "when Christ comes to Resurrect the Body of Christ, those dead bodies of Saints will be the first to be resurrected from the graves. The souls and spirits of those bodies will be brought back with Jesus. And as the dead bodies are made perfect, the souls and spirits will enter the new bodies.

234. In a split second, after the dead bodies are raised, those Christians that have not died as yet, will be changed also into spiritual bodies. They will be caught up, still alive, with those whom have come from the graves, into Heaven with the Lord. What a family reunion there will be in Heaven at that time!"

235. Christ's Apostles were told to always be watching and waiting for the return of the Lord and of course He was referring to His Second Coming. On the other hand, when we see the climatic events that are taking place on the earth today, we know that the Second Coming is close at hand.

This being so, we also should know that the Rapture of the Body of Christ must take place 7 years before the Second Coming of the Lord! The warning is, "Keep looking up for He is coming very soon to take us to Heaven!"

236. Read the following passages and see for yourself what the warning is for all humanity. Scripture...

237. "Watch, therefore [give strict attention, be cautious and active]: for you know not what hour the Lord does come {Matthew 24:42}."

238. "Therefore be [sure that] you also [are] ready: for in such an hour as you think not [and may not be expecting Him] the Son of Man [will] come {Matthew 24:44}."

239. "Watch therefore [again I say, give strict attention and be very cautious and very active in the Lord's work], for you know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of Man [will] come {Matthew 25:13}."

240. {V.33} "Take you heed [be on your guard continually and stay alert], watch [up into the Heavens] and pray: for you know not when the time is [for the coming of Christ].

241. {V.34} For the Son of Man [Jesus Christ] is as a man [Who is already] taking a far journey [that He began when He went up to the Father at the time of His Resurrection three days after His death], who left his house [the nation of Israel and its Temple in Jerusalem], and gave authority to the servants [all His disciples, every Believer], and to every man his work [of preaching and teaching His precious Word, the Holy Bible], and [this is what it means when He] commanded the porter to watch.

242. {V.35} [Before Jesus left the earth He commanded His followers to be continually on the alert and said]... Watch you therefore: for you know not when the master [Christ as King] of the house comes [Second Coming], at evening, or at midnight, or at [before daylight when the] cock-[is]-crowing, or in the morning:

243. {V.36} [Watch, I say] Lest coming suddenly [and unexpectedly] He find you sleeping [and not ready].

244. {V.37} And what I say to you I say to ALL, Watch [be ready and continually be ready] {Mark 13:33-37}."

245. Every Christian should continually be watching for the coming of the Lord! The Apostle Paul looked constantly for His appearing in the hope that he would be caught up yet alive to meet the Lord in the air. In this hope, he was simply following the express command from Jesus as is spoken of in the above texts.

Paul thought as Believers in every age should believe, that Christ could come at any time and continually be ready for it to take place. Thus, it was natural for him to believe that this would take place while he was still alive.

The Lord Jesus Is The Only Way To Heaven. How Can You Make Sure That You Are Going There?

246. How to get to Heaven is the question that has burdened man's minds in every age since the creation of mankind! We know of no heathenistic religion that doesn't believe in some type of after life. It has been taught that somewhere on the other side there will be great happiness with the assurance of a wonderful life of pure bliss. This is what everybody one way or another are seeking for!

247. Even when many of them worshipped false gods, idols of stone, wood, ivory and other types of false idols, yet all of this was in the hope of the better life somewhere on the other side where peace and tranquility would abide.

248. To make sure of Heaven, men have brought gifts to witch doctors, made every ungodly sacrifices including human sacrifices, paid money to priests and tortured themselves with unspeakable pain. They have offered their children into the fiery iron arms of Molach. Women have thrown their babies to the crocodiles of the Ganges River, hoping to gain Heaven.

249. Certain people have hanged and burned people to death calling them witches. Pilgrims have traversed burning deserts to bow the body at Mecca. Ungodly crusaders have fought, murdered and maimed people on their way to Jerusalem to gain the assurance of peace and forgiveness for their sins.

250. The fasting vigils of monks in their small cells, the deeds of penitents who climbed stone stairs on bare knees, and the millions of prayers, Ave Marias or Paternosters counted on rosary beads have been with a hope of gaining Heaven. Men seek a way to Heaven in the waters of Baptism, in the confessional box, or in the bread and wine of the Lord's supper. They seek Heaven by lodge rites, by giving gifts to the poor and by many righteous works.

251. Every human mind longs to make sure of future eternal peace and happiness! But, the fact is, not even one of the above mentioned ways to Heaven will get you or anybody else to that place! All of the above have tried and many in this age are still trying to get to Heaven by their own merit, their own so- called good works and this is all impossible to accomplish!

252. {V.16} Scripture "And, behold, one came and said to Him [Jesus], Good Master [Teacher], what [excellent, perfectly and essentially] good thing shall I do, that I may have [and posses] eternal life? [He wanted to work his way to Heaven by being good]. {See Leviticus 18:5}.

253. {V.17} And He [Christ] said to him, Why called- you Me good? there is NONE good but one, that is, God: but if you will enter into [eternal] life, keep the commandments. [Even though Jesus is God, this man saw Him only as a teacher]!

254. {V.18} He [the man] said to Him [Christ], Which [commandments , as though all of them were not important]? Jesus said, You shall do no murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness [lie], {See Deuteronomy 5:7-21; & Exodus 20:1-17}.

255. {V.19} Honour your Father and your Mother: and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself {Matthew 19:16-19}." {See Leviticus 19:18}. Jesus said...

256. "And where I go you know, and the way you know {John 14:4}." Today, the Lord gives us the same answer. Thomas, one of the Lord's Disciples said, "Lord we know not where You go; and how can we know the way?" He wanted to know how the Lord's followers could be sure of Heaven! Jesus answered him and said, Scripture...

257. "I am the way, the truth and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by Me {John 14:5-6}." Christ is the only way to Heaven!

258. The group who call themselves "Christian Scientists [with the doctrine that denies sin and thus cannot be scientific, and denies the Bible, so cannot be Christians] call Jesus "The Wayshower." But that name does not honor the Lord at all! Jesus is certainly not a Wayshower, He is the only way to Heaven!

Not one single individual past, present or future ever received Salvation except the Bible way! There are many cultic branches who teach that they can get to Heaven by their own false scientific doctrine and good works.

259. They believe that their prayers to who knows who and presenting gifts to poor people is going to pave the way for them to get to Heaven. But, this positively, is not going to help anyone get there! The Lord's way is the only way and there is no other!

Only by believing and accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Saviour can one become a "born again Child of God, this is the only way!" Jesus is called the: "Straight gate" and the "Narrow way." Any other way is the broad trail to destruction! Scripture...

260. "... If any man thirst, let him come to Me, and drink {John 7:37}." Scripture...

261. "Come to Me, all you that labour and are heavy laden [over burdened], and I will give you rest [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls] {Matthew 11:28},"

262. This concerns true salvation and rest. ... One can belong to a dozen Assemblies, and still not belong to Christ as a true Believer. This writer once knew a man who said that he had been baptized into several denominations by different types of baptisms. When he was ask why so many, his answer was "so that he could make sure that he was saved."

263. What he was doing was- he was using works to get himself to Heaven instead of getting to Heaven by faith through the grace of God . True salvation cannot be bought by membership in an Assembly, nor by baptism, or by so-called righteous living. It is found through the precious blood of Christ Jesus alone. Scripture...

264. "[Every person] Being justified freely [without a cause and made upright and in right standing with God freely and gratuitously] by His grace [unmerited favor and mercy] through the redemption that is [provided] in Christ Jesus {Romans 3:24}."

265. {V.9} "Who has [delivered and] saved us, and called us with an holy calling [leading us to holiness, that is, to a life of consecration, a vocation of holiness; He did it], not according to our [so called good] works [which we have done], but according to His [Christ's] own purpose and grace [unmerited favor], which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world begin,

266. {V.10} [It is that purpose and grace] But [which] is now made manifest [and has fully been disclosed and made real to us] by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, Who has abolished [annulled] death [that is, immunity from eternal death and made it of no effect], and has brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel [of the mystery] {2- Timothy 1:9-10}." {See Ephesians 3:4-9}.

267. {V.8} Scripture "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By Whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God {Romans 5:1-2}."

268. {v.8} Scripture "For by [free] grace [God's unmerited favor] are you saved [delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's Salvation] through [your] faith; and that [this Salvation is] not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

{V.9} Not of works [it came not through any of your own striving for so-called good works, but Salvation is given to you strictly as a free gift from God], lest any man should boast [glory] {Ephesians 2:8-9}."

Peter summed up the Old Testament when he said to Cornelius and his household...

269. "To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believes in Him shall receive remission of sins {Acts 10:43}."

270. This is precisely what the Apostle Paul and Barnabas preached at Antioch in Pisidia. Paul said, Scripture...

271. "Be it [clearly] known [and understood] to you therefore men and brethren, that through this Man [Jesus Christ] is preached to you the forgiveness [and removal] of sins [is now proclaimed to you]: And by him all that believe [that is, all who acknowledges Jesus as Saviour and devotes himself to Christ] are justified [from sin, from every charge] from all things, from which you could not be justified by the Law of Moses [and given right standing with God] {Acts 13:38-39}."

272. The Lord has given Salvation and eternal life and desires Heaven to be filled with redeemed Believers. But, the gift of everlasting life is only given through Christ Jesus. Scripture...

273. "And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life {1- John 5:11-12}." [All that are in the Lord are Saved and will live forever with Him!]

274. God the Father sent His Son down to this earth to die that mankind might be redeemed from their sins. After Jesus died for man's sins, the veil of the Jerusalem Temple was torn in two from top to bottom. When this took place, every barrier such as the veil of separation between man and God disappeared. And now, anyone who wishes to do so may come to Christ for pardon and Salvation by trusting and believing only, that is all it takes, nothing more!

275. This same Jesus who died and rose again, is now our high priest in Heaven. He is our advocate between God the Father and Satan. Christ arose for our justification. Since His death, the way to Paradise opened up for every Believer! The way to Heaven has been accomplished. Jesus did all this by Himself. When He died, He made the statement, "It is finished {John 19:30}." He paid the price for everything. {Concerning the word "advocate," See 1- John 2:1; & 5:18. We find this word only one time in Scriptures}.

276. In the past, I have had friends ask the question... " will I ever see my pets in Heaven?" The Bible is clear that animals have no everlasting souls as human beings have. On the other hand, the Lord made it clear in His Word that when we get to Heaven we will be like Him and will even share in the inheritance that the Lord will have. Scripture...

277. {V.9} "Having made known to us the [secret] mystery of His [Christ's] will [of His plan and purpose, and it is this], according to His good pleasure [His merciful intention] which He has [previously] purposed in Himself:

278. {V.10} [God planned] That in the dispensation of the fulness of times [during Christ's Millennial reign and the climax of that age that] He might gather together [and unify] in one all things [and head them up and consummate them] in Christ [the King of King's], both which are in Heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him [the Lord Jesus]:

279. {V.11} In Whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated [and being foreordained chosen and appointed before- hand] according to the purpose of Him Who works all things [in agreement] after the counsel [and design] of His own will:

280. {V.12} That we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted [and put all our confidence] in Him.

281. {V.13} In Whom you also trusted, after that you heard the Word of Truth, the Gospel [of glad tidings] of your salvation: In Whom also after that you believed [in and adhered to and relied on Him], you were sealed with the [long promised] Holy Spirit of promise,

282. {V.14} [The indwelling Holy Spirit of God with His seal upon us is that] Which is the earnest [guarantee, the first fruit, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment] of our inheritance until the [full] redemption of the purchased possession [of it], to the praise of His glory {Ephesians 1:9-14}." Scripture...

283. {V.16} "The [Holy] Spirit Itself [Himself thus testifies and] bears witness with our [own] spirit [assuring us] that we are the [adopted] children of God:

284. {V.17} And if [since we are His] Children [of promise], then [we are] HEIRS of God [the Father], and [fellow] JOINT HEIRS [sharing the eternal inheritance of and] WITH CHRIST; if so be that we [must also share His suffering and] suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.

285. {V.18} [But what of that] For I reckon [consider] that the sufferings of this present time [in this present life] are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us [and for us, and conferred on us] {Romans 8:16-18}."

286. The fact is, since we will be joint heirs with Jesus, should we desire a pet horse or dog or any other animal in Heaven, all we will have to do is create one. If we ourselves cannot create one, can you possibly believe that Jesus would refuse to create one for us?

It would be utterly ridiculous to believe that He would refuse! Of course there will be pets in Heaven! Remember the white horses that are mentioned in {Revelation 19:14}? The main thing for us in this age is that we ourselves are ready for Heaven! You remember that Jesus said,

287. Scripture "All that [God] the Father gives [and entrusted to] Me shall come to Me; and him that comes to Me I will [most certainly] in no way cast out [Jesus will never, never, never reject even one person who comes to Him for any reason]! {John 6:37}." [Will you come to Him today]? Scripture states...

288. "For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] shall be saved. [This is Spiritual deliverance] {Romans 10:13}." {See Joel 2:32}. The Teacher Jesus Christ also said...

289. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear My voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him..., {Revelation 3:20}."

290. You see, you only have to open the door of your heart and then by your believing and trusting and asking Him to come in, He will immediately enter your heart and continually dwell within your very being eternally! And then, you will be permanently assured of Heaven! This is what the Word of God meant when it stated, Scripture...

291. "But as many as received Him [Jesus], to them gave He power [authority, privilege and right] to become the sons [and Children] of God [that is], even to them that [adhere to, trust in, rely on and] believe on His name {John 1:12}." {See Isaiah 56:5}.

292. If you will receive Him as your personal Saviour today, just open your heart and invite Him in. By doing this you will receive all the power of God that can be bestowed upon any Believer in this age of grace. This guarantees you an eternal home in Heaven!

293. Many folks wonder about their babies whom are dead. Did that infant at death enter into Heaven? On the authority of the Word of God, I tell you that no child under the age of accountability will be kept from Heaven. They are immediately, at the instant of their death, taken up into Paradise of Heaven!

294. It has been estimated that no less than half of all small children have died since the creation of Adam. You can bet your life that they are all right now in Heaven. It is true nobody since Adam's sin have been born without an old sin nature. This sin nature was inherited from all preceding generations. But the Lord Jesus has made atonement even for the old sin nature!

295. Scripture "For as [just because of the union of "the old sin" nature] in Adam all die, even so [by virtue of their union of "the new Christ like" nature] in Christ shall all be made alive {1- Corinthians 15:22}." [The unregenerate are in Adam. The regenerate are in Christ]!

296. No small child has ever, or will ever go to hell... and no adult Christian will ever be excluded from Paradise. How old is a child before he reaches the age where he will be accountable for his sins? No one really knows! Doubtless it is earlier with some children than with others.

297. This writer's four children claimed to trust Christ for salvation before the age of seven and have given evidence of a real change of heart. Children, if carefully taught and trained, may be led to Christ while very young. Naturally, no one really knows if that other person is really saved, all we can do is pray and hope that they really are!

298. Only the individual person and God truly knows and much of the time even the person is fooled into believing he is saved when he is still in a lost condition. The largest part of various denominational groups teach salvation by works and this is a shame.

This is why only a small percentage of professed Believers will be admitted into Paradise by that narrow gate. King David's baby died, but God revealed to David that he would see the baby again in the future in Paradise. David ask the question, Scripture..."

299. "But now he [David's baby son] is [already] dead, therefore [why] should I fast? can I bring him again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me {2- Samuel 12:23}."

300. If you are a believer in Christ, you positively can be assured of seeing your child again! It is really easy to be saved. One man who was of the Catholic faith said that his baby had died before it had been baptized by being sprinkled with water. He believed that because his baby had not been water baptized that it had died in a lost condition.

301. He ask the question about whether he could possibly ever see his baby girl again in an after life. So I explained what is written above about small children including babies and his heart melted. He prayed the sinners prayer and asked the Lord Jesus to come into his heart and save his soul thus, becoming a child of the living God.

Sometimes it takes a death in the family to get folks thinking. You can be assured of one thing, should you continually reject Christ, you will never see your loved ones again!

302. God is anxious for us to know that if we confess our sins that they will be forgotten and never remembered again. He is very anxious for every lost person to repent and confess his sins to the Lord in prayer and trust Jesus for salvation. This man mentioned above began trusting in the Lord.

How can you know that the Lord will not take someone you love very dearly to Heaven in order to get you yourself to look to Him for salvation? If you can read this message, surely you can't say that it isn't meant for you.

303.When I was very young, I ask a minister this question... " What if I trust Christ and study the Bible for the next 40 years, just to find out later on in life that the Bible isn't true?" His answer was: "What will you have lost by trusting Christ, because you will have stopped your bad sinning, your cursing and you will control your wicked thoughts, thus, you will live a much better life.

304. You will raise your family in an Assembly with other Christian Believers and all of you will live a clean life-style. On the other hand, what if the Bible is true, then you will have gained eternal life in Heaven, instead of Hell." This answer made much sense to me. My friend you have everything to gain, and nothing to lose by following Jesus!

305. You are not an unaccountable infant. You have chosen wrong many times when you knew in your heart what was right. Everybody has done wrong and sinned in their past life. We have been told by certain parties that God would never save them because they have committed such horrible sins.

306. That they just couldn't possibly be saved ! The fact is, nobody ever got to Heaven by deserving it. Hell is full of pretty good people, not because they were worse sinners than you or me but only because they failed to choose Jesus Christ as their Saviour before they died.

307. We cannot comprehend why it is so difficult for some folks to say yes to Jesus. One man told me that "he helped other people many times and that he was living a good clean life. He stated "that he did not drink alcohol or smoke. He had stopped cursing and that he believed wholeheartedly in the Bible."

308. He said that "he definitely believed in Jesus Christ and that Jesus is God!" But, when he was ask if he would take Jesus as his personal Saviour, he said that "he didn't know why but he just couldn't say yes." The man is dead now and as far as we know, he died without Christ!

309. There is not one person in Hell today that would not be there, had they said yes and received Christ as Saviour! Not one person has ever entered Heaven by deserving it. Only by trusting the Lord and saying to the One Who died for their sins... "YES, I trust You and accept You this very minute as my Lord and Saviour," only by receiving Christ can one enter in to the Paradise of God! {See John 3:16-17}.

310. Scripture "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist [and stand firm against] the devil, and he will flee from you {James 4:7}."

311. After a person receives Christ, they should try to always please Him at all times. Christians today look back on their past life and sadly remember the many things that were sinful and wish they could live there lives over and right the wrongs they committed. But, when you were saved, every single sin you have ever committed has been cast as far as the east is from the west. The Psalmist said, Scripture...

312. "I acknowledge my sin to You, and my iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord [continually unfolding the past till all is told]; and You [instantly] forgave the [guilt and] iniquity of my sin {Psalm 32:5}." {See 2- Corinthians 4:3-7}.

313. Scripture "Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities; Who heals [each of] all your diseases; Who redeems your life from destruction; Who [beautifies, dignifies and] crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies {Psalm 103:3-4}."

314. Scripture "For as the Heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy [and loving kindness] toward them that [reverently and worshipfully] fear Him [because of their love for Him]. [The word "fear" in this verse means Reverential awe and trust]," {Read v. 13 & 17}.

315. Scripture "As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us {Psalm 103:11-12}."

316. When the Lord has cast your sins away, they are all forgotten and will never be remembered again. So, why should you even look back at those sins in your past? Forget them, from now on only look ahead to the future and let the past take care of itself ! It has been said that nothing can be changed that has taken place! This is the devil's lie!

317. After you have become a Child of God, everything has been changed. Before you receive Salvation your sins were being heaped up against your record for a future judgment ! But now, that you are saved, no more do you have anything to worry about because Heaven is your future dwelling place!

318. It is important to live for Christ earnestly and He will gloriously reward you for your good works that you have done for His cause now that you have been saved. But, remember this, rewards are one thing and salvation is entirely another. As we have pointed out before in this message, "The road to Paradise comes by trusting in Christ." The good works that will win you Heavenly blessings, are those works that you complete after you have been saved!

319. What about your loved ones, your family members, your friends and etc? Are you satisfied that they are saved? Is your son or daughter in a lost condition? Your brother or sister, your grandchildren, are they ready for Paradise? You may say, "I can't do anything about them," but, that just isn't so! It could be that their being saved from Hell is strictly in your hands. Are you so satisfied about your own well being that you are not going to regard their lost condition as being a concern of your own? If so, shame on you.

320. When you get to Heaven, the Lord will ask you why you did not witness to your loved ones? You had every chance! You might say, "Well, every time I tried to bring up the subject they would change the subject to something else so I decided that they just wasn't interested and dropped the subject."

321. The writer that is writing this message has been through this same type of trouble himself many times. He has been brow beaten, cursed, talked about behind his back, and was practically despised by family members. It got so bad that he even felt that it was a waste of time to witness to family members for fear of ridicule.

322. And, in many cases this has not changed, but we can never give up. The Lord's work is just as important today as ever. If it is at all possible, we must go on and try our best to get our loved ones saved. Just maybe, you are the only person that is being used by God to reach that loved one. What are you going to do about it? Do you want to be responsible for her or him going to Hell? If they are left behind at the Rapture, is it going to be your fault?

323. Are you and your loved ones ready? God is ready. Christ has prepared a home for you in Heaven. He wants you there. I believe that you want to go there. The Word of the Lord states, Scripture ...

324. "He, that [who] being often reproved [and] hardens his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy {Proverbs 29:1}."

If you will not listen and believe before the Resurrection of the Body of Christ, look what the Lord says about you...

325. {V.10} Scripture "And with all deceivableness of [unlimited seduction to evil and with all wicked deception to] unrighteousness in them that perish [and are going to perdition, perishing]; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [They refused to believe the truth of God's Word].

326. {V.11} And for this cause God will send them [a working error of] strong delusion [a misleading influence, of some type of idol worship], that they should believe a lie [of what is false].

327. {V.12} That they all might [be judged and] be damned [condemned] who believed not [and refused to adhere to trust and rely on] the truth, but [instead] had pleasure in unrighteousness {2- Thessalonians 2:10-12}."

328. In order to be positive of your own Salvation, we would ask you to "Please" read and pray the following prayer and if you really mean in your heart [mind] what you have read and if you have spoken these words in this prayer with a contrite mind to God the Father, at the end of the prayer you will have become a Child of God!

THE SINNERS PRAYER:

329. Heavenly Father, I know that I'm a lost sinner and that I cannot save myself by good works. I believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son Who came down from Heaven and took on a human body of flesh and was born of the Virgin Mary. I believe that Jesus shed His blood on the cross of Calvary and died paying the price for my sins with His death so that I can receive salvation because and through His sacrifice.

I believe that after Christ's sacrifice and death, He arose from the tomb after three literal days and nights. That Jesus ascended into the third Heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father. I believe that Jesus will return for all Saints who belong to the Body of Christ in the Resurrection [Rapture] according to His own promise!

I know that I have been up to this time a lost sinner and deserved to go to hell. So I beseech you Heavenly Father, send your Holy Spirit at this very moment into my Heart and save me for Jesus Christ sake as has been promised me by Your Holy Word. I am receiving Jesus Christ at this very moment as my personal Saviour, my Lord and as my only blessed hope for salvation. Thank You Lord for now I am saved by Your wonderful grace. Amen!

330. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved {John 3:16-17}."

331. " For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast {Ephesians 2:8-9}."

332. "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him. But God has revealed them to us by His [Holy] Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, yes the deep things of God {1- Corinthians 2:9-10}."
