ALIGNMENT
- all intelligent creatures (including dragoons, devils, demons, angels, etc.)
are capable of being converted. Thus the killing of a creature based solely on
its alignment is a prejudiced action and therefore evil. Intelligent creatures that
are not capable of making moral decisions (due to youth, mental disease/defect,
etc.) will be considered neutral.
- The struggle between good and evil are universal concepts where each good act,
no matter how small, enforces the powers of Good. Likewise, any evil act
enforces the powers of Evil. Therefore, the concept of achieving a good end
with evil means is self-conflicting. Evil means cannot be used to get good
ends. All ends are tainted by the means used to achieve them. The greatest
achievement is to convert someone from an opposing faith. In this fashion you
empower your side and at the same time weaken the other side. Merely killing an
evil creature doesn’t weaken the forces of evil since their soul goes to one of
the infernal planes and continues to do evil (except in the case of certain
outsiders).
