Is the Talmud the words of God?

If you say that the Talmud is the words of G-d, you are sharing similar doctrine with the Seventh Day Adventist church! Some of people in SDA claimed that the words of Mrs. Ellen G. White were the words of God. Doesn't it really surprise you at all?

Yes. I nevertheless pay respects to the Talmud as reference just like "a small light which guide us to the greater light" but they are by no means substitutes for the words in the Torah and the Bible.

The Seventh Day Adventist Church is one of Protestant Christian church. However, they observe the Seventh Day Sabbath and Kosher foods. They claimed that they were bestowed a prophet, Mrs. Ellen G White, so that people may be guided to the truth out of the complicated mess of modern Christian theologies. Her literatures were essentially a bunch of commentaries to the Bible. Moreover, some parts of White's writings have striking similarity to the Talmud although she does not have a single knowledge of Jewish language or culture while they were written in the middle of 19th century. It is thought that Mrs. White wrote these writing under the influence of Holy Spirit. This historical analogy is extremely curious. I strongly recommend you this issue as your next research topic.
