I consider myself to be both a teacher and a student. I recently received my BS in elementary education and have accepted a 7th grade position teaching math and science. I'm already planning on going back to school for further classes.

I love entertainment.  My first and foremost loves are books and music, but I also love movies, television and plays.  I'm a big devotee of Entertainment Weekly magazine.

My hobbies include reading, snow skiing, ice skating, quilting and drying flowers.  I'll try just about any craft once.  I love to hike and once tried bungee jumping-- over a big air cushion.

My family includes myself, my parents and two younger brothers.  We share our home with Chico (a goofy Cockateil), Josie (a rambunctious Ragdoll kitten), and Bailey (the world's most wonderful Newfoundland dog).
