October 18, 1997 - This was the band's first appearance at "The Land of the Running Water" Tamaqua Band Adjudication Festival. The weather was perfect for a festival and Tri-Valley Marching Band made a major advancement in its history. All of the sections came together and each gave its best performance of the year. From the very first note until the very end, the crowd was captured the band's expression of the music and their knowledge of the show. At the conclusion of the show, the fans in the stadium erupted and the emotion began to fill each band member as they realized the performance they had just done. The band truly enjoyed themselves, and were more than happy to entertain the great audience that witnessed the performance. The results from the festival are posted below.
