5 Minutes Home Page Builder

LESSON 1

( Using MS Office Word 97 )

INTRODUCTION

This very basic guide is actually meant for my students as well as my colleagues who are keen in computers, to include home page designing, but have only begun to know how to use the word processor (therefore, it is not for amateurs and definitely not for pros). Nevertheless, for those of you* out there who are also in the more or less same category as I am, I hope you and I can benefit something from this basic tutorial thus taking a step further towards enriching ourselves with the world of Information Technology ( IT ).

* For your information, I have met many senior lecturers, university professors, what more teachers, from developed countries who had never ever used a computer before or hold the mouse properly, let alone constructing a home page, not until the day they attended an IATEFL (SIG Group - Computers) on "Introduction to Internet in Education", sometime ago. The bottom line is - "You're not alone!"

Now assuming that you've got the complete set of MS Office Word 97 and Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer in your hard disk, and that you're now in your Word 97, we can now begin ....

- It is advisable for you to print this guideline first for easy reference -
