Musical Information

1998 Helix Highlander BandI have played the for years, and have always found enjoyment in it.

There are many free resources available on the internet for those who are interested in Music. Personally, the one thing which I believe to be most important for what I do is the program Noteworthy Composer, which is available in demoware format for those of you who wish to try it. I believe it to be very much worth its registration fee. It allows you to write music, and save it in either its own format or export it to Midi. It can even import a song from a MIDI and edit it in musical notation format and print it out. There's lots of nice stuff in it.

If you've got that, you can understand why one of my greatest searches is for MIDI music which I like to print out and play. There are many places which I enjoy the most, such as the MIDI Farm which has music of all sorts, popular to classical, and the Classical Music Archives, which has virtually every classical music piece imaginable available in MIDI format. Music of all types, especially for the Clarinet, can be found at the Music archives on the Clarinet Player's Resouce Pages. I also especially like Celtic music, and I think that ReelMusic is the best resource for celtic MIDIs

My friend Derek Follet is a beginning composer, and for his senior project composed a song, which you can find on his music page. In fact, he has composed quite a few songs in MIDI format, many of which you can find here. I would recommend that you listen to some of them and tell him what you think.
