Libraries and Archives
Pacific-Asia Regions

Some of the research sites included in this page offer information sources beyond the recognized definition of a 'Library' and a 'Archive'. We have tried to assign, but not limit, the term "Archive" to "Government" research sites containing interesting facts for the genealogist.

For the most part we have selected web sites where on-line research can be performed. News groups and Mailing Lists are not listed as primary sources although several may be found by following links from the suggested sites.

Libraries provide a huge depositary of invaluable information helpful to the thorough student in genealogy.

Geographically major emphasis has been placed on the sites representing the Pacific region.
