LET ME SAY A FEW WORDS OF INTRODUCTION CONCERNING OUR LORD, AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST, BEFORE I GET INTO THE SERMON SUBJECT. JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD. BEFORE THE SUN, AND THE MOON WAS FORMED, GOD THE FATHER SPOKE, AND HE TOOK HIS WORD, AND SHAPED IT AND FORMED IT, IN SUCH A WAY THAT THE WORD OF GOD, BECAME THE SON OF GOD.

Jn:1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (KJV)

BELOVED, JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY GOD THAT HAS EVER BEEN FORMED ; OR EVER SHALL BE FORMED.

Is:43:10: Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Is:43:11: I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.

HOLY CHILDREN, JESUS CHRIST IS THE FIRST BORN OF EVER CREATURE. WHAT IS A CREATURE? A CREATURE IS, SOMETHING THAT WAS CREATED. JESUS CHRIST IS TRULY THE SON OF GOD. THE APOSTLE PAUL, WAS INSPIRED OF GOD, TO RECORD THESE WORDS ABOUT JESUS CHRIST.

Col:1:12: Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Col:1:13: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Col:1:14: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Col:1:15: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Col:1:16: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Col:1:17: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

COME INTO THIS KNOWLEDGE, SAINTS OF GOD, GOD THE FATHER CREATED THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, AND THEN IT WAS BY JESUS CHRIST, THAT GOD, THE FATHER, CREATED ALL THINGS. TO GIVE YOU SOME IDEA OF THE POWER OF JESUS CHRIST, HE CREATED THE SUN, AND THE MOON, AND THE STARS, AND PLACED THEM IN SPACE IN ONE DAY. JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD, CREATED ALL MANKIND, AND PLACED THEM IN ADAM IN ONE DAY.

Eph:3:9: And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: (KJV)

AND NOW, SAINTS OF GOD, LET ME SPEAK ABOUT BLOOD, IN RELATION TO THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION. WHEN I FIRST CAME INTO LOUISIANA, THERE WERE MEN MAKING A BLOOD SAUSAGE CALLED BOUDIN. YOU COULD BUY THIS SAUSAGE WITH OR WITHOUT BLOOD. WE AS CHRISTIANS ARE NOT TO EAT BLOOD. WHY NOT? BECAUSE, GOD HAS GIVEN BLOOD UPON THE ALTER, TO MAKE AN ATONEMENT FOR OUR SOULS.

Lv:17:10: And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

Lv:17:11: For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

THINK ON THIS SAINTS OF GOD, THE LIFE OF THE FLESH IS IN THE BLOOD. WHAT IS BLOOD? IT IS A FLUID THAT FLOWS THROUGH VEINS, AND ARTERIES THAT BRINGS FOOD TO THE CELLS IN THE BODY, AND BATHS THE CELLS, AND TAKES AWAY WASTE. THESE WORDS RECORDED IN THE HOLY SCRIPTURES, "THE LIFE OF THE FLESH IN THE BLOOD." PROBABLY IS WHAT LEAD PHYSICIANS TO DISCOVER BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS. LET ME AT THIS TIME, PREACH CONCERNING THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. LISTEN CAREFULLY. THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, GOD'S DARLING SON. WAS, AND NOW IS INNOCENT, PRECIOUS, NECESSARY, SUFFICIENT, CLEANSING, LIFE GIVING. LET ME EXPLAIN WHAT I MEAN. JUDAS ISCARIOT CONFESSED THAT HE HAD BETRAYED INNOCENT BLOOD.

Mt:27:3: Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

Mt:27:4: Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.

Mt:27:5: And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

CHILDREN OF LIGHT, ONCE A PERSON HAS BEEN CALLED TO REPENTANCE, JUSTIFIED, GLORIFIED, TRANSLATED OUT OF THE WORLD, AND INTO THE BODY OF CHRIST. AND HAS RECEIVED THE WASHING OF REGENERATION, AND THE RENEWING OF THE HOLY GHOST. HE MUST BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT HE DOES, AND WHAT HE SAYS. FOR IF WE SIN WILLFULLY, AFTER THAT WE HAVE COME INTO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH, THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SIN. IF A PERSON SINS WILLFULLY, AFTER THAT HE COMES INTO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH. HE DOES THREE THINGS. FIRST, HE TRODS UNDER FOOT THE SON OF GOD. SECONDLY, HE COUNTS THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT BY WHICH HE WAS SANCTIFIED, AN UNHOLY THING. THIRDLY, HE DOES DESPITE TO THE SPIRIT OF GRACE.

Heb:10:26: For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Heb:10:27: But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Heb:10:28: He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Heb:10:29: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Heb:10:30: For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Heb:10:31: It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

LET ME READ TO YOU CHILD OF GOD, PART OF THE CURSE THAT WAS PUT ON JUDAS FOR HIS BETRAYAL OF CHRIST.

Ps:109:6: Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

Ps:109:7: When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.

Ps:109:8: Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

Ps:109:9: Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.

Ps:109:10: Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.

Ps:109:11: Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.

Ps:109:12: Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.

Ps:109:13: Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.

Ps:109:14: Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the Lord; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

Ps:109:15: Let them be before the Lord continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.

Ps:109:16: Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.

Ps:109:17: As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.

CHILDREN OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH, TRY EVERY DAY, AND IN EVERY WAY, TO DO THINGS, AND SAY THINGS THAT WILL BE A CREDIT FOR YOU, WHEN YOU STAND BEFORE JESUS CHRIST ON JUDGMENT DAY. FOR WE ALL HAVE OUR HOUR IN WHICH WE SHALL STAND BEFORE GOD, AND GIVE AN ACCOUNT OF THE THINGS WE HAVE DONE WHILE IN THIS TABERNACLE OF FLESH. SOLOMON, THE SON OF KING DAVID WAS INSPIRED OF GOD TO RECORD THESE WORDS.

Eccl:12:13: Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Eccl:12:14: For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. (KJV)

CHILDREN OF LIGHT, THE BLOOD OF JESUS WAS INNOCENT. BUT, IT WAS ALSO PRECIOUS. THERE WAS NO OTHER SACRIFICE, IN ALL THEWORLD, THAT COULD MAKE AN ATONEMENT FOR OUR SINS. IF IT HAD NOT BEEN FOR THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, ALL MANKIND WOULD HAVE GONE INTO ETERNITY WITHOUT HOPE.

1Pt:1:18: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

1Pt:1:19: But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

1Pt:1:20: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

BELOVED OF GOD, THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST WAS INNOCENT, AND THE BLOOD OF CHRIST WAS, AND STILL, IS PRECIOUS. BUT IT WAS, AND STILL IS NECESSARY. MOSES SPRINKLED HOLY THINGS WITH THE BLOOD OF BULLS, AND GOATS. TO PURGE THOSE THINGS OF SIN. BUT THOSE THINGS WERE JUST A PATTERN OF THE THINGS IN HEAVEN. BUT I BELIEVE THAT CHRIST SPRINKLED THE HEAVENLY THINGS WITH HIS OWN BLOOD TO PURGE THEM OF SIN.

Heb:9:19: For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,

Heb:9:20: Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

Heb:9:21: Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.

Heb:9:22: And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Heb:9:23: It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these

SAINTS OF GOD, THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST WAS INNOCENT, PRECIOUS, NECESSARY. BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS WAS ALSO SUFFICIENT. THERE NEVER NEED BE ANOTHER SACRIFICE OFFERED UP TO GOD. FOR WITH ONE SACRIFICE, JESUS CHRIST HAS PERFECTED FOR EVER THOSE THAT ARE SANCTIFIED.

Heb:10:12: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Heb:10:13: From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

Heb:10:14: For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

HOLY CHILDREN, THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST WAS INNOCENT, PRECIOUS, NECESSARY, SUFFICIENT, BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST ALSO CLEANSES US FROM ALL SIN. WHEN A CHILD OF GOD IS BAPTISED OUT OF THE WORLD, AND INTO THE BODY OF CHRIST, HE IS A BABE IN CHRIST. AND, BABIES WHEN THEY ARE LEARNING TO WALK STUMBLE, AND FALL. IT IS THE SAME WITH A BABE IN CHRIST. IF A BABE IN CHRIST COMMITS A SIN IN IGNORANCE. HE CAN CONFESS THAT SIN AND BE FORGIVEN. WHEN HE WALKS IN THE LIGHT, THAT HE HAS.

1Jn:1:9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV)

LISTEN CAREFULLY, SAINTS OF GOD, EXCEPT A MAN EAT OF THE FLESH OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, AND DRINK OF HIS BLOOD. I BELIEVE THAT HE WILL HAVE NO LIFE IN HIM, WHEN HE STANDS BEFORE CHRIST JESUS ON JUDGMENT DAY. I BASE MY OPINION ON THESE VERSES OF SCRIPTURE.

Jn:6:52: The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

Jn:6:53: Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Jn:6:54: Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jn:6:55: For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

Jn:6:56: He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

Jn:6:57: As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

Jn:6:58: This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

BELOVED OF GOD, HOW DO WE EAT THE FLESH OF JESUS CHRIST, AND DRINK OF HIS BLOOD, WE EAT OF THE FLESH, AND DRINK OF THE BLOOD, OF JESUS CHRIST WHEN WE PARTAKE OF THE LORD'S SUPPER. BUT, IF A PERSON WERE TO EAT OF THE FLESH, AND DRINK OF THE BLOOD OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST UNWORTHILY. HE WILL EAT, AND DRINK TO HIS OWN CONDEMNATION.

1Cor:11:27: Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

1Cor:11:28: But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

1Cor:11:29: For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

HOLY CHILDREN, THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY, THAT I KNOW OF, TO BE RIGHTEOUS IN WORD THOUGHT, AND DEED, IN THE EYES OF GOD. AND THAT IS BY FAITH IN CHRIST, AND FAITH IN THE BLOOD HE SHED ON CALVARY. WHEN A MAN PLACES HIS FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS, AND FAITH IN THE BLOOD THAT HE SHED ON CALVARIES CROSS, GOD THE FATHER ALLOWS THAT PERSON TO DECLARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF JESUS CHRIST, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS.

Rom:3:23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rom:3:24: Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Rom:3:25: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
