reetings,
holy children of God, in the wonderful name of our lord and saviour Jesus, the Christ.
The sermon subject for today is: Ponder these scriptures : (1) We as saints of God are not to jest, or joke. Keep in mind we shall give an account of every idle word. Ephesians:5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. (2) When we as saints of God come before the throne of God in prayer; women are to cover their heads; men are to uncover their heads, to not do so is sin. 1Corinthians:11:2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. (3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. (3) You must wash the feet of the saints and allow them to wash your feet otherwise you will have no part with Jesus Christ in the world to come. John13:8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. Here are verses of scripture filled with hope. Psalms:32:1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered 2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. It is the soul of man that shall live in eternity 2Corinthians4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. The things we see are temporary, it is the invisible things that are eternal. 2Corinthians4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. How does the souls of men appear? Jesus Christ wanted to show Peter, James, and John the immortal body, the Soul, when He was transfigurated in their presence. The Holy Scriptures say that Jesus shined like the sun. Matthew:17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. When the Lord Jesus returns for his bride the Church, after the angels have gathered the tares, the children of Satan and burned them, then shall the saints of God shine like the sun. Matthew:13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Think before you make a vow, a solemn pledge to God, for a vow will bind the soul. Numbers:30:1 And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded. 2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth. 3 If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father's house in her youth; 4And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand. But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her. Is it possible for a man to sell his own soul? Yes, In Babylon a person could buy a man's soul. Revelatians:18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; (Babylon) for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: 13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. In the Holy Scriptures the soul is known as the inner man, the inward man, the soul, In mental science the soul is known as the psyche. The most valuable possession a man owns is his soul. Matthew:16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? The soul of man can feel pain. When we, as children of God, humble ourselves before God by fasting, our souls are afflicted, feels pain, Isaiah:58:3 Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours. The soul can love. Matthew:22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. The soul of man can talk and reason. Revelation:6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. How can you identify the child of God that is alive both physically, and spiritually; and has come into the knowledge of the truth? The born again child of God will not willfully sin. 1John:3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. When the soul comes to life, the soul of man delights in the laws of God. Roman:7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man. In the beginning of creation God the Father spoke, and he took His word, and shaped his word in such a way that the word of God became the Son of God. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus Christ is the only God that ever has been formed or ever shall be formed. Isaiah 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. Jesus Christ is the first born of every creature. Colossians:1:15 who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: God created all things by Jesus Christ . Ephesians3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: God is a trinity in unity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. When Jesus Christ created man, he created man a trinity in unity; Body, Soul, and Spirit. The body can die, and the soul live on. If a man commits adultery with a woman the physical body will get up and walk away but the soul will be destroyed. Pr:6:32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. When the spirit leaves the body the body is dead.. James:2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. If a man marries a woman that has a living husband, he will be marrying into adultery. Romans:7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. This is what John the Baptist said to Herod. Mark:6:17 For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her. 18 For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife. Adultery is named as the number one reason men will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians:5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.What is the kingdom of God? Romans:14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Before the foundation of the world I believe that Jesus Christ spoke and he formed the souls of saints from the word of God. I base my opinion on these verses of scripture. Ephesians:1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, God is good to those people that fear God, and keep his commandments, Romans:11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. Jesus when He was in Gethsemane mentions that His soul is sorrowful, as He ponders the suffering of the cross. Matthew:26:36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. 37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. 38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. Why, for what purpose did Jesus the Son of God come into the world, and suffer such tribulations as to allow Himself to be sacrificed, crucified. Jesus suffered the cross that we might be reconciled to God the Father. After Christ Jesus's death, burial and resurrection Jesus came to his disciples and breathed on them, and said, receive ye the Holy Ghost. This was the reconciliation of God, and man. John:20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained. When the disciples received the Holy Ghost inner man the soul came to life; and power came power to preach, teach, witness, power to forgive sin, and to retain sin. The gifts of the spirit came, love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance came to dwell within them. The anointing came that teachings the disciples and brings us into all truth. How can the elect of God have their sins washed away? How can the elect of God come into the promise that they shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost? Repent, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Allow the elders to lay their hands on you, and pray for you. Act:19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. When the Elders lay their hands on you I believe that the Lord takes of the Spirit that is on them, and places the Spirit on you. Numbers 11:17And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone. Here is another way to remitt sin. James:5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. May the Lord bless you, and your family with eternal life.
