Jessica The Genius, # 117, SVH
1/2
Everyone knows that Jessica Wakefield lives for sun, fun and guys. So how did she manage an almost perfect score on her SATs? There's a rumor going around Sweet Valley High Jessica cheated. Will acing her college boards mean acceptance at the university of her dreams-or will it ruin her chances forever?

Todd Wilkins is driving Elizabeth Wakefield crazy. Now that college basketball scouts are showering Elizabeth's boyfriend with flattery and attention, he thinks he's hot stuff. He even tells Elizabeth she's lucky to have him! When Todd's head gets too big to fit through the Wakefield's front door, will Elizabeth send him walking?

I think the book was pretty good, even though it lacked a drama, suspence, relationship kind of thing, since the whole book was pretty much centered around the twins, and the main plot of the book was at school. The book was kinda boring, but not that bad.

A Picture-Perfect Prom?, #141, SVH

Junior year is coming to a close, and there's only one thing on Jessica Wakefield's mind-snagging the hottest prom date in Sweet Valley. But who could be worthy of the most devistatingly gorgeous girl at SVH? Jessica and her best friend, Lila Fowler, are determined to find out-by rating all the guys in school. But when their list of who's hot and who's not gets out, the guys seek revenge!

Elizabeth Wakefield needs to make a decision fast. She told both of her ex-boyfriends, devoted Todd Wilkins and sexy Devon Whitelaw, that she needed time to stand on he own. But now she's totally alone-without a prom date! Will she be able to figure out who her dream guy is-before he asks someone else?

I really enjoyed this book. It had all the elements of a good story, like suspence, humor, surprise, etc. My favorite parts were with Jess and Lila, during their "go-see" and "notebook" episode. I totally recommend this book.

Out of the Picture, #33, SVU

Elizabeth Wakefield never wants to see Tom Watts again. She's even left WSVU! Elizabeth loves her new job as a reporter for the Sweet Valley Gazette. But now that Tom's out of her sight, she can't get him out of her mind.

Todd Wilkins is in a state of shock following the tragic death of Gin-Yung Suh. Will his grief lead him back to Elizabeth-or will he shut her out completely?

When detective Nick Fox is on the case, Jessica Wakefield can't be too far behind. Nick tries to keep Jessica out of danger, but she always finds a way to sneak into the line of duty. If Nick can't keep his new assignment a secret, will it be his last?

This book was OK, but it seemed more like an intro to Spy Girl, so the main things in this book could easily been put Spy Girl. If you're planning to read the Verona Springs Mysteries, you should probably read this book. If not, there are a lot of other books you could read.

Mystery Date, Super Romance #9, SVH

Lately, Olivia Davidson has felt lonely. Sweet Valley has a major lack of funky, artistic people like herself. So she's kept busy chatting with cool, imaginative guys in Internet chat rooms. One guy in particular could be her perfect match- he's sweet, sincere and a poet. Olivia doesn't want to admit, but she might be falling in love with someone she's never met!

Ken Matthews only uses his Internet account to check football scores and stats. But when he accidently links into an artists' chat room, he meets an amaing girl who challenges the creative side he never knew he had. And speaking of challenges, she wants to meet him in person! What will happen when she finds out he a football jock and not the poet he's pretending to be?

I really liked this book a lot. Although the description of the book is all about Ken and Olivia, my favorite part of the book is the war of the cliques'. If you're intrested in the internet, you might find yourself disapointed because the book is more focused on Ken and Olivia than the Internet.
