Perhaps the oldest living mortal in the universe, Prion became first known during the time of the Tree of Sages. It was his bizzare attack which siphoned the lifeforce back into the planet, and his training which helped Juvenile defeat Mage. Prion dissapeared into obscurity for several millenia until recently he was freed from a demon crystal by Nexus. From this point forward Prion began regaining his past memories which were previously lost to him. He was once a protector of the light, a group of warriors from a past world. There leader, a warrior named Virtue wielded a sword of pure goodness and light and destroyed an unspeakable evil which plagued their universe. The sword was locked away within the sun realm and Virtue ordered Prion along with 3 other of the 7 warriors to protect the sword. Prion didn't mind, he tohught the Sun realm was beautiful, and it was. Virtue left with two others and promised to return. However several years passed and he never returned to relieve them. The other three warriors grew restless and left despite Virtues orders. Little did they know that a darkness surrounded the Sun Realm and if anyone left it would consume them, this was why Virtue told them not to leave until his return. They left and were attacked by the darkness, there souls were corrupted and over taken each becoming a dark demon of unspeakable power forever trapped in the demons realm. Prion remained however for a long time. He was immortal and could not age. He waited until finally he could stand the lonliness no longer. He forsake his golden eyes which allowed him passage into the Sun realm and carved them out, and imprisoning their power within a magic stone which he threw away. His power began to fade without the power of the light and he began to age as well. It was at this time he met Gotaru on Dante IV and felt within him the blood of Virtue. Somewhere long ago Virtue was Gotarus Ancestor, and with that Prion formed a deep friendship with Gotaru and then his grandson, Juvenile. Now still a powerful ally Prion fights alongside, the planeswalkers and the warriors of light providing any insight he can to the destruction of the dark lord.
