Hello. My name is Jono. Well ... that’s the name I use on the internet. I’ve participated in golf forums for the past 3 years, where I contributed some technical information on the golf swing. I learned a lot in return, especially on the feel aspect of the game.

I feel that my Swing is very reliable at the moment. It seems to be solid mechanically, and is very intuitive in feel. It’s feels effortless, and yet the ball goes a long way. More importantly, the ball seems to go straighter than ever before. At the same time, I feel that I am not TRYING to control the club at all. I feel carefree, and just SWINGING the club, letting the forces of the Swing direct me. I have let go of manipulative control to gain swinging control.

This website is my effort to communicate my ideas on the golf swing which have helped me to transform from a fairly mechanical player to more of a feel player. This website is not intended to teach. It may give you some ideas to work on, and help to develop your own Swing. You may just like to read it for interest, but if you want to give my ideas a go, I would urge you to do all the exercises that I mention. I will ask you to make some devices to illustrate some points. None of these are difficult to make, and they can show you a lot about the nature of the Swing.

Handicap: poor eye-sight ... :-) Seriously though, I haven’t played many rounds in the past two years, but I usually shoot in the 70’s or low 80’s.
