Ryze's #1 Site What up hot boys and girls! Welcome to the site thats totally dedicated to me and my peeps and how we get down! My name is Aisha and I'm 21 years old. You might know me as RYZE on excite, blackplanet, visto chat rooms or emails. If ya happen to see me, Show me love and speak! This website that I have recently created contains links to people and websites that I feel are interesting and deserve a closer look... PERSON OF THE MOMENT The person that has me tweekin' right now is a hometown boy who goes by the name of Calvin Richardson. Yep! He's from good ole Monroe, NC and he's proud of his roots. I know you probably don't know who he is so I will tell you. He is the cousin of K-Ci and JoJo and he has a new solo project called "Country Boy". The album consists of mostly slow ballads. My favorite song is "Coming Home". Anyone who's lost a loved one will identify with this song. Calvin's website is cool too! The link is on the menu! ![]() CD OF THE MOMENT The last cd I purchased was "Acoustic Soul" by India.Arie. Her style is kind of laid back and she is a very unique individual. I just bought the album 2 days ago so I'm still vibin'on the 1st half of the album's 15 or 16 tracks. So far I am really feeling her song called "Brown Skin" where she compares her lovers skin to chocolate and of course "Video", the song where she says she "not the average girl". Basically she sings about love and relationships but most of all she expresses her creativity thru originality, fresh lyrics, and beautiful vocal arrangements. She is very confident in her feminity and encourages other women to look past the stereotypes and see beauty in all things. India's Website!

RYZE Recommends..... ![]() ![]() "Hot Shot" by Shaggy in stores now!!!!!!! ![]() Go to Shaggy Online! ![]() ![]() True Pimp Style ![]() Koffee Brown's song "The After Party" is one of my favorite songs right now. I remember when first heard it. I was going to a party with my good friend Terance and he was playing this song in his car. I was like "who is that singing"? He said Koffee Brown, but I didn't know who Koffee Brown was..(then). But I know now. If you pull out your old "Rated Next" (Next) you will Coffee Brown sang on the track "Problems". Now she has her own CD but she changed the spelling of her name and partnered up with a guy who's vocal style compliments her own. As far as the CD, the production wasn't that great. You can feel that whole "Next" and "Zhane" formula working in there. My fave tracks are of course "The After Party", "Qualified", and "Didn't Mean to Turn You On". There is no doubt that Koffee Brown is a talented duo who has a promising future ahead of them.
There's a lot to digest on this 23-track album; over half the songs are collaborations with either Master P or fellow No Limit Soldier A-Lexxus (there's a forthcoming artist named for nearly every high-end vehicle on No Limit). Beginning with a slew of slow, rather crude tracks (like the imaginative "Pu**y"), and countless (or pointless) phone interludes, Rear End hardly gets moving.
Songs like "Candle Light & Champagne," "What You Need," and "It's Your Thing" all have that TLC-like bounce -- an elusive achievement, to be sure -- and ultimately get the party going. The album's best track is "You're the Only One," a sweet, sexy love ballad with some nice hooks.
If one needed to look further than the album's cover, though, to get an idea of where Mercedes' head is at, the album ends with the telling skit called "Talk to the DJ's," where Mercedes proceeds to describe to a radio DJ what she plans to do to him down at the station. Creative? Probably not, but at least she said she was going to use a condom.

FWC "Organized Crime" **** out of 5
In the tradition of the Geto Boys and 5th Ward Boyz, Many people don't know about Houston's Underground 5th Ward Circle (FWC) which consists of Young Gotti and Frank Nitti. FWC holds their own with their first solo release "Organized Crime". This CD has back to back rumbles with fresh beats, originality, and catchy hooks. Featuring "Cash Money" which appears to be sort of a hustla's anthem with the catchy chorus "Cash..Money, Money. Gotz to have some, Gotz to ge some". Another catchy song is "24-7-365" featuring Lil Ke-Ke.It has a smooth catchy nostalgic beat that should only be played at high volumes or while cruisin down the street with the bass pumpin'. Ryze recommends buying and listening to this album at www.cduniverse.com
Jill Scott should have won a grammy. Isn't Michelle's verse in Destiny Childs "Survivor" way too short. Lil Bow Wow and Solange' Knowles(Beyonce's sister) are so cute in "Puppy Love" What is up with that dude from "106 and Park". The hair police should get him. Movies to look for ![]() "The Brothers" "Get Over It" Thanx for visiting my site You've just made me a happy woman!
