Goals for the Spring 1998 Semester:
Represent College of the Canyons as responsible, dedicated, and caring individuals.
Encourage community involvement through volunteerism, voter participation, and pursuit of education.
Create and maintain a Student Alliance For Earth website.
Encourage students and faculty to seek skills training, such as CPR, first aid, and emergency preparedness.
Initiate campaigns to address events, legislation, issues, and practices deemed significant by Student Alliance For Earth members.
Arrange for visits by speakers and performers.
Survey students and faculty to identify routines and attitudes that are not conducive to a positive social or physical environment; offer practical and economical solutions.
Publish a monthly campus newspaper dedicated to freedom of expression and intellectual discovery.
Collect books, videos, film strips, and other publications which can be used by students and faculty to facilitate learning.
