George Washington National Forest - OHV Area - May 1998  Trip Number 1

This was the first trip of a group of Toyota 4x4 owners from the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area.

We were brought together by Ryan Bascom who was tired of wheeling alone. He found most of us on the Toyota 4x4 Mailing List. We have been on a couple other trips since this one but still have no name for our group.

Ryan Bascom crossing one of the many streams and creeks. His truck has a 4" suspension lift and 31" tires, if that helps you get an idea of water depth.

Scott Hollister's Chevy V8 powered Toyota all twisted up.  33"s, winch, welder, on-board air...  Every group needs a rig like this along.

Chris Stuckey's V8 powered Toyota running 35"s making it look shallow.

My Truck before the springs were rearched and two leaves added gaining a 3 inch lift.

The whole crew minus Bob Bascom who was nice enough to take the picture.
