Lantern Winner.Members of the Class posing in front of the winning lantern (hardly recognizable) during the 1984 Christmas celebration at UERM. The lantern (the cheapest among four done by the Class) conforming to the theme "Paskong Tipid" depicted a fish down to its bone symbolizing the economic slump during that time (which was also a good reflection of the class financial status). Transformed from idea to reality by our master carpenter Raul Tomboc, it was paraded ala Chinese Dragon along Aurora Boulevard and the Quadrangle. Because of the COMPLEXITY of the design, the one holding the head sometimes got caught in the middle and the one holding the tail almost joined the other lanterns. Nevertheless, this convinced the judges to award it First Place breaking the traditional winning streak by the residents.

P.S. If you can remember any other achievements of our class please inform us.
