'81 FJ-40, SO, SR, SM420, Factory PS, Lockright, Goodyear 35" M/T's...
Here are a few pictures of my Toy:
Specs:
Stock 2F Engine
SM420 Chevy Transmission out of a 1949 1/2 Ton truck
Spring-Over Suspension Relocation
Shackle Reversal (gives great approach angles)
CV Jointed Driveshafts on t/c side front and rear
Lockright locker in front
Full custom rollcage
Aisin FJ60 Hubs
Goodyear 35" Wrangler M/T on 15x10 Steel Wheels
Notes: When doing the Shackle Reversal most people flip only the military wrap (2nd leaf)
leaf, what I did was flip the whole spring pack, this moves the axle housing about 4 inches
further forward, involves moving the shock mounts (custom anyway) and a longer driveshaft
also all custom, so it worked very well, and has a incredible approach angle, I'll cut the
bumper in front of the tires when I get around to it, haven't hit yet though...
