1963: The wraparound windshield is now history. Tail fins are long gone. American cars are entering an era of clean sensible styling. The Country is on the eve of the longest sustained period of prosperity in it's history. Also just ahead are years of turmoil and tragedy. President Kennedy will be assinated in November. George Romney, the recent President of AMC, and architect of the company's resurection, will be a candidate for his Party's nomination for President of the United States. AND THE 1963 RAMBLER IS MOTOR TREND MAGAZINE'S 'CAR OF THE YEAR'!

This car has to be seen to be appreciated! It looks to us like a 2 year old automobile. It is currently registered, and being driven (lovingly). We've been told that one cylinder has low compression, but we haven't noticed this while driving the car. The paint appears to be original, but we don't have documentation on this. Buyers should be aware that some work will likely have to be done to put this car in pristine mechanical condition.
