Til Death Do Us Part

As soon as he set eyes on her, Ethan knew that she would be the woman he would marry and he set about courting her. He used many pretty words as neither of them had much money for expensive gifts and such.
Eventually she was won over by his advances and they wed on a warm summer day.

That day, Arden made a list for him of the many reasons she loved him and read it aloud in front of family and friends. Time passed, and unfortunatly they were not blessed enough to have children. But that was only a minor factor in their lives. They were both immensely happy with their relationship. They spent many happy nights in bed, just talking as they got older.
Arden was the first to die, when she was old and grey. Ethan was by her side, holding her hand and stroking her wispy, gray hair. He died not long afterward of a broken heart.
