Work Experience

Create web pages based on designers' layouts using HomeSite, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, ImageReady, JavaScript, DHTML, XHTML, TopStyle (CSS), FTP, and Interwoven Teamsite. Create and maintain client extranets, updating content as needed. Create mini, self-contained websites (5 to 20 pages) for client presentations. Participate in estimating job lengths and required-person hours.

Created new and modified existing templates in StoryServer 4.1 to pull necessary information from the database to appear on www.drweil.com and www.alicewaters.com. Maintained and updated these two websites using HTML, JavaScript, BBEdit, Fetch (FTP), Telnet, and Vignette StoryServer code. Created various images and graphics for the sites using Illustrator, Photoshop, and ImageReady. Participated in reviewing overall design changes to www.drweil.com and www.alicewaters.com sites.

Updated, edited, and uploaded Xerox web pages and other files for the Xerox web site using JavaScript, Broadvision, and Teamsite software. Prior to new website (4.1.99), maintained Xerox web pages and banner ads using HTML, Photoshop, PhotoGif, GifBuilder, DeBabelizer, Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Word, RTF to HTML, and Fetch (FTP) on both Macintosh and PC. Participated in year-long planning and implementation of website overhaul.

Supervised Production Associates; estimated website-design job lengths; scheduled workload; interviewed, hired, and trained staff; and communicated with customers regarding job requirements and satisfaction. Responsible for ensuring that newly created web pages, daily updates, product launches, press releases, and investor information were posted to www.xerox.com on time. Designed, created, and maintained web pages for the Xerox intranet and for the Internet using HTML, Photoshop, PhotoGif, GifBuilder, DeBabelizer, Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Word, RTF to HTML, and Fetch (FTP) on Macintosh computer.
