Bryce Canyon!
I had never seen anything like it before. The colors were spectacular. Oranges, yellows, browns, reds. All blended together in a most delightful way!
The best hike there was the Navajo Loop. You went back and forth, around and down, till you were on the canyon floor. There were tall skinny trees that went from the ground, all the way stretching up to the open sky. I had never seen anything like it before in my life. Amazing!
I was so impressed that my parents - in - law could take all of these strenuous hikes. They were amazing. They never complained, they just kept going, enjoying every mind boggling sight!
The urge to go back there again is so strong that it actually hurts! I look forward to the next trip, and I hope Dad and Mom will want to go with us again.
