This is going to be an attempt to share what several years of research, experience, and reading I have done. This will not be all-inclusive, and it is bound to have some errors. It will not cover all the situations encountered. Descriptions of what color a horse is changes from breed to breed for exactly the same color, so if I describe a color and you say " but that is really such and such..." your right, just humor me.

I have separated the easy to identify colors to separate pages to speed up download time, and all of the pictures can be clicked on to see a larger picture or are linked to the person's web site.

Many of these pictures will be of stallions at stud, and please check out the Stallion Owners
by clicking on the picture and going to their home page. Using the 'Back' on your web browser will bring you back here. I recomend you book mark the home page as internal links will change as pages/pictures are updated. Many Stallion Owners will have horses for sale.

I wish to extend a great 'Thank You' to all those who have allowed me to use pictures of their horses, this couldn't work without you. Pictures, even in Jpeg format take enormous amount of memory, and as this is a 'free' site, all those who donate links make this possible.

Please don't hesitate to e-mail me with any errors (spelling or otherwise) on this site, and with any possible candidates for pictures.

Thanks Again, and Happy Reading!

Cherie Reinheimer
