Anyway, this page contains recipes, my favorite foods and drinks, the best restaurants and places to eat, and all the rest. So, enjoy!

Recipes

Monster Mash
You will need
2 bananas cereal bowl
cream or milk wooden board
sugar knife
coloured sprinkles fork
1. Peel bananas.
2. Slice them up on the board.
3. Slide them into bowl, then mash with fork.
4. Sprinkle lightly wiht sugat.
5. Cover with cream or milk.
6. Add coloured sprinkles.
 

Banana Smoothie (King Toyota style)
You will need
3 bananas a blender
milk knife
whipped cream chopping board
sugar
grapes (optional)
1. Peel bananas, chop them and put them in blender.
2. Add 3 tablespoons of sugar.
3. Pour milk until it covers the bananas.
4. Put as much or as little whipped cream as you want.
5. Add about 10 grapes. This is optional but I like it better with grapes because it gives a bit more flavour.
6. Mix in blender for about 3 minutes.
7. Pour into a large glass and drink it.
 

Marinated Chicken Wings (Recipe can be prepared a day ahead. Marinated uncooked chicken wings suitable to freeze. Suitable to microwave.)
You will need
2kg chicken wings
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup dry sherry
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice
    Tuck wing tips under each chicken wing. Place in a large dish. Combine remaining ingredients in pan, stir over low heat until honey is melted. Pour over chicken wings; mix well. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
    Grill or barbeque chicken wings, brushing often with the maranade, until golden brown and cooked through.
    Serves 8.

 

Sweet and Sour Meatballs (Serve meatballs with cooked rice and extra soy sauce, if desired. Recipe can be mafe a day ahead. Not suitable to freeze. Suitable to microwave.)
You will need
500g minced beef
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon oil
450g can pineapple pieces
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons dark soy sauce
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
2 sticks celery, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
6 green challots, chopped
2 teaspoons cornflour
1 tablespoon water
    Combine mince, garlic and parsley in a bowl, shape into meatballs. Heat oil in pan, add meatballs, cook until browned all over, drain on absorbent paper. Drain pineapple, add syrup to pan with vinegar, sugar, sauce and ginger. Stir in meatballs, pineapple pieces, celery, pepper and challots, simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Stir in blended cornflour and water, stir until mixture boils and thickens slightly.
    Serves 4.

 
 

Herbed Meatloaf (Serve meatloaf with cherry tomatoes, mashed potatoes and green beans, if desired. Recipe can be made 2 days ahead. Suitable to freeze. Not suitable to microwave.)
You will need
1kg sausage mince
40g butter
1 onion
2 bacon rashers, chopped
2 teaspoons dried mixed herbs
2 cups (140g) stale breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon oil
    Using floured hands, pat mince out to a 25cm square on a sheet of foil. Melt butter in pan, add onion and bacon, cook, stirring, until onion is soft. Remove from heat, stir in herbs, breadcrumbs and parsley. Place crumb mixture down centre of meat. Fold over one side of sausage mince, then overlap with remaining side using foil to roll mince. Place in baking dish, seam side down, brush with oil, bake in moderate oven about 1 hour or until cooked through.
    Serves 4 to 6.
