These pictures show why old people should not be allowed to drive motor homes, or pickups with campers on them for that matter...  as you can see this is a wide curve in the road here, we were on our side going about 30-35mph, in 4hi.  as we started into the corner, a fullsize pickup with camper on it, towing a trailer was heading the opposite way, as the driver, my friend Jon swerved right to get out of teh campers way we slid into the ditch and eventually rolled twice down the bank, approx 50 ft.
the vehicle that caused this incident did not turn around, stop or even yield to the fact we may have gone off the road.  After climbing from the truck, and hiking to the bank, we started walking  after almost 2 hours we met witha  pickup headed out and he charged us for a ride to the nearest phone (nice guy).  after personally spending part of July 5th in the hospital getting glass removed from my head and right forearm, i found that i had dislocated my right shoulder, bruised my rib cage, and suffered a small concussion
It had been to long since the accident to get stitches, so i have a nice permenant gash in my right arm.  My friend recieved bruised ribs also and a large bump on his head from knocking heads with me.

We returned to the truck on July 6th, no one had touched it (luckily)  after a few try's i was able to get the truck un-hung from the log it was on and drive it out, after making 200+ yards of trail to get to a smaller part of the bank to drive up, the Sheriff's deputy was there while we removed the vehicle and helped us find a good path to drive it out.
We used a hammer to break most of the windshield out and drove it all the way home, the truck still tracks straight and drives like it did before the accident.  The insurance company decided to deny a claim because there was no contact with the other vehicle.
