From time to time, we run across certain Reba songs that really strike
our fancy. Fact is, this happens more than not. Because we like these songs so
much, we have decided to rate them for you. Do you like them as much as we do?
If you have any comments, please contact
us. We'd be glad to answer any of your questions.
Here's how our rating system works. We both chose six of our most
favorite Reba McEntire songs, and we've rated them. Instead of using "4
out of 5 stars," we've used "4 out of 5 redheads." Starting to
understand how it works?
TREVOR'S FAVORITES
Whoever's In New England
Trevor's comments: "It's a song with lots of emotion and feeling,
like most of her others. It's just a good song all around, and it's one that
sticks with you."
4 out of 5 redheads up!
Gypsywoman responds, "The video to Whoever's In New England, her
VERY FIRST video ever, is beautifully done! Although I like the song, I can't
say it's one of my favorites. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to get to
know Reba better.

Read My Mind
Trevor comments: "I'm mainly like the sad ballads myself, and
this is definitely one of Reba's finest. My only question is: Why HAVEN'T I
seen a video? It would be great!"
4 out of 5 redheads up!
Gypsywoman responds, "It is a great song (very well done), but
there is no video that I know of. I go for the up-beat songs more than the sad
ballads."
4 out of 5 redheads up!
Starting Over Again
Trevor comments: "It's an old song, but Reba really knows how to
get into it. That's probably why I love it so much."
5 out of 5 redheads up!
Gypsywoman responds, "Wow, what a tear-jerker! I cried when I
heard her sing this one in concert (she cried too!). It's such a
heart-wrenching song about losing the one you've always loved, but just can't
anymore. Reba couldn't have put any more emotion into that song if she tried!"
5 out of 5 redheads up!
GYPSYWOMAN'S FAVORITES
This Picture
Gypsywoman comments: "I love this song, and I'd have to say it's
one of my absolute favorites! I like the entire CD! Although I've never heard
her sing it in concert and never seen a video, it's easy to imagine a video to
it. It's no throw-away by any means!"
5 out of 5 redheads up!
Trevor responds, "The song just doesn't do anything for me. It
isn't one I' dlisten to but about a couple times in life, and that's probably
because I would be listening to the entire CD. It's just not one of my
favorites."

Ring On Her Finger, Time
On Her Hands
Gypsywoman comments: "This is a very sad tune. It's a re-make of
the old Lee Greenwood tune, I believe. I think it comes out better when a woman
like Reba sings it! Reba's strong emotion is what I like best about her
singing."
4 out of 5 redheads up!
Trevor responds, "This is another one of Reba's sad songs, and I
love it. I've discovered that I like almost anything off Starting Over. This
album is the favorite of my collection."
The Fear Of Being Alone
(single off a yet unreleased CD)
Gypsywoman comments: "Like I said before, I go for the
more-upbeat songs, and this one makes us have something to really look forward
to in her new album. If you saw the October 2, 1996, CMA awards, you got one of
the first previews of this song. I love it!"
5 out of 5 redheads up!
Trevor responds, "Maybe I just haven't heard this song too much;
it might have to grow on me. I haven't given up on the whole album yet, because
I plan to buy it the day it's released."
3 out of 5 redheads up!
We hope you've enjoyed our comments on our favorite songs! We
look forward to hearing from you!
