Wanted wanted wanted wanted wanted ----- I am looking for the KILT Radio Top 30 (or Top 40) yellow and black weekly listings that you could pick up at the record stores, etc. The months and years I am looking for (any week ok) are September, October, November and December 1971; January and February 1972; July 1972; July 1974; December 1974; June, July, August, September, October, November and December 1975; July 1976; July 1977 and September, October, November and December 1978. KILT 610 was a rock format station during those years, it is now all sports. If anyone has a top 40 list from any other station during those times listed, that would be okay as well. Thanks.
In other cases, the multi-track tapes or individual mono tapes were used to improve the mono mixes for certain recordings. An example of this is some of the early Beatles recordings where the vocals are on one track, the instruments on the other. While a stereo track can be made, it wasn't intended that way originally in some cases. I am looking for recordings from the late 1950s, all the 1960s and the early 1970s in true stereo. Some of my primary wants are The Who, The Animals, The Kinks, Herman's Hermits, Paul Revere & the Raiders, the Beach Boys and plenty more. One of the best websites for true stereo collectors can be found at the stereo chat section of the Both Sides Now home page.
Marty Blaise's TRUE STEREO want list is as follows (not mono or rechanneled). I will keep adding more wants later, of course.
Shambala - Three Dog Night (Do multi-track tapes really exist?) I think several other hits do not exist in stereo as well. Can someone tell me which? Double Barrel - Ansel & Collins Ramblin Gamblin Man - Bob Seger Groovy Grubworm - Harlow Wilcox & The Oakies Pushin Too Hard - The Seeds
As Tears Go By - The Rolling Stones Go Now - The Moody Blues
Muleskinner Blues - The Fendermen It Hurts To Be In Love - Gene Pitney Come A Little Bit Closer - Jay & The Americans Girl Watcher - The O'Kaysions Expressway to your heart - Soul Survivors I'm Your Puppet - James and Bobby Purify Winchester Cathedral - New Vaudeville Band
96 Tears - ? and the Mysterians Little Red Riding Hood - Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs Hanky Panky - Tommy James and the Shondells Little GTO - Ronny and the Daytonas He's A Rebel - The Crystals Ups and Downs - Paul Revere and the Raiders
If you know of a true stereo version of any of the above, let me know!

Thanks for stopping by the true stereo inside page. If you are a true stereo collector, please let me know. Also, if you have any information about recordings artists who recorded in Houston, Texas in the 1950s, 1960s or 1970s, let me know. I'm also interested in the type of stereo recording equipment that was used in Houston recording studios for those years. >>Happy Listening<<
