About the Webmaster


Hello. Scott Joplin holds a special place in my heart. I first heard the music when I was a little boy, and my mother played a simplified version of The Entertainer on the piano. Later, I played the original Entertainer when I was about 11. After that came Maple Leaf Rag, Solace, Cascades, The Ragtime Dance (1906) and Heliotrope Bouquet.

I attended school Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. I am a psychology major (something which I have an even greater passion for than music). At BYU, I work, study, work, read, and occasionally find a free moment to play piano.

Anyway, this is the only area of the page where I can have clashing colors and graphics that don't fit with the main aesthetics, so enjoy!
