Central Louisiana
Parrot Head Club, Inc. is a
non-profit organization and a charter member of the
national organization Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc. Our purpose is to assist in community and
environmental concerns and to provide a variety of social
activities for people with similar tastes and interest
who enjoy the music and literary works of Jimmy Buffett
and the tropical lifestyle he personifies. |
The Club was founded in January, 1994 by Pixie Messina and Joe
Vandersypen. We were incorporated in the State of Louisiana and
in the Parish of Rapides in February, 1995. Local annual
membership dues are $15.00 per person and $25.00 for
couples/household. These dues help cover the expenses the club
has each year, including annual dues to the national
organization. If interested in joining the local parrot head club

On the even months,
business meetings will be held on the third Thursday
of the month starting at 6:00 p.m. On the odd months,
Social Hour will be held on the third Friday
of the month starting at 5:30 p.m.
