I didn't come from a little, remote planet like the Little Prince (I hope you still remember this little masterpiece from children's literature by A. Saint Exupery), nevertheless my homeland is very distant from here. It is a very old, nearly ancient country in the middle of Europe. It has been on and off on the world's map since. 966 A.D. It went through many wars and other historical cataclysms but now finally it appears to be free.
I have just started my Ph.D. program in biological sciences at a small town university in America's corn country (what a pity it's so flat here). I hope to specialize in
phytoremediation. If anyone of you is interested in this field, please contact me. I also enjoy astronomy, computers, music (various types, including
classical and jazz) and good movies.
My wife's field of interest is continuing
