as a part-time research student at the Department of Social Statistics.
The subject of my research was Statistical Modelling of Birth History Data.
During this period I followed the course "Epidemiological Models".
I was supervised by J. "Mac"  McDonald (Senior Lecturer in Social Statistics).

I attended the Historical Demography Summer School,
at the European University Institute in Fiesole (Florence) from 25th of August to 12th of September 1997.
