OERTEL Just for my family I am trying to find out more about the people in my family through out the ages: In Germany Thomas Friedrick and Margarethe Barbara Oertel had a child: Karl Tragott Oertel who married Mara Magdalena Mennesdoefer Their children: Johannes A.S. Oertel; George Friederck; Thomas Frederick Johannes came to the USA in 1848. Then his parents and brother came to the USA in 1849. The Rev. Dr. Johannes Oertel is my Great-great-Grandfather. I would like to find out more about his brothers: George Friederck and Thomas Frederick GEORGE was born in Germany 19 June 1826 THOMAS died in 1875 in USA. I have some more info.
