16.05.2002 Spring is in its full power in Siberia. Lake Baikal is just freeding from ice on its South. This picture is from May 3 on the butiful and pristine area of Circumbaikal railroad.

8.11.2001 Now I am leaving for Japan, Lake Biwa, Conference of Lakes conservations and Management. We have great weather here - lot of sun, but I hope to see gold autumn of Kyoto.

21.09.2001 And now I am back from Turkey, Marmaris on Mideterranian. It was NATO workshop (see my impressions here).

2.09.2001 I was in Finland on the very North (see my impression here).

9.08.2001 I had guests from Portugal here. We have visited nice places around Baikal (see photo of Olkhon island). Now I am going to visit Lapland of Finland (18-23.08) and Turkey (9-14.09).

18.05.2001. After intensive Spring program (cruise in Norwegian Sea, Liege Colloquium in May) it seems that I will spend some time at home. I am living in new flat !!!

5.03.2001. I am in Hamburg again and goint to Norway to participate in r/v "Jan Mayen" cruise to Greenland Sea. This is my flat on the photo just under the roof on the Glashueten Str.


13.01.2001. Best regards in Russian Old New Year (night from January 13 to 14)!!! It seems that we have less frost now after two weeks of less then 30C. It was not so horrible because it was no wind. Today we had -27C and wind.
