Here you will find out (briefly) how we produce safe, asthetically pleasing drinking water for the residents of my hometown... You will soon see that this is NOT an easy job! The river where our water is drawn from though not severely poluted, is in need of substantial treatment before it is safe to drink! I hope after you see all of the effort that goes into producing your potable water, you will think twice about wasting it!...This page has been voted "Cool Homestead Page Of The Day" (July 22, 1996)!

Note.. your browser must be configured to use the Windows Media Player (or equivalent) for the MIME Content audio/midi in versions of MSIE & Netscape below the 3.0 release. If the music does not play, see the hints below.. Since Netscape is one of the lesser browsers, the selection menu will not display properly! (I fixed that!) You are stuck with the default (Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd) oh well, GET A REAL BROWSER!
    In MSIE, You have to make sure the registered file (.mid) opens with mplayer.exe (Media Player). In Explorer, choose "view" "options" and select file type.

    For Netscape, the helper application associated with MIME content audio/midi should be mplayer.exe (C:\windows). Also, the "Launch the Application" box must also be checked...Choose "options" "General Preferences" "Helpers" check/change the settings there
