Greetings! I am glad that you are finally here. I would like to share with you my main hobby, photography.
I have been taking pictures for about 20 years since I first started with my father's Minolta Himatic-7s range-finder. Then I purchased my first SLR, a Minolta XE-1 (XE-7) in 1977. It was a lot of fun in learning photography with that camera in those days. Five years later, I acquired another Minolta SLR, a X-700.
In 1990, I jumped ship and purchased a Nikon F4s with a bunch of lenses. I was not disappointed. Three more Nikon bodies and a number of Nikon lenses followed. The F4s is still the main camera of my Nikon system.
In 1993, I made a full circle and went back to another range-finder camera, a Leica M6. It is a camera system designed for a totally different style of photography, available night candid pictures. The lenses may not be any better than others, but they definitely give you a different look. Due to the great satisfaction the M system gave me, I started using Leica SLRs as well. They did not disappoint me either. Some may say that the Leicas are lacking in terms of features. For me, it is a plus because it really forces me to concentrate on my photography and makes me contemplates more. From time to time, I still use my F4s when I need autofocus but I am using my Leicas most of the time. I even carry a minilux with me wherever I go.
