My Role: Conception, Consultant, System anaysis, Database Design, Documentation and Coding.
As the bank belongs to the educational institute "Bharati Vidyapeeth" , I had the opportunity to participate in all the phases of software development .
1.1 I am instrumental in convinng the board of directors to automate the bank transactions, explaned the advantageous of it.
1.2 Consultancy to the Bank on
1.2.1 Selection of hardware and software based on the transaction load (present and future ) taking in to account in addition to there present functionality
1.2.1.1 Provision of the advanced functionality such remote login, ATMs and automated clearing of the outstation cheque through computerized clearing houses.
1.2.1.2 Merits and demerits of Ready made banking solution and in-house development.
1.2.1.3 Present computer awareness and learning curve.
1.2.1.4 Prepared a syllabus for training the bank officers and started the training
1.3 Team leader for In-house development
Preliminary:
1.3.1 Used the previous accounting knowledge on transaction and book keeping
1.3.2 No of meetings with bank officers and the counter clerks to understand the present method they are following
1.3.3 Finalized the list of functionality to be incorporated in the software.
Database Design:
1.3.4 Tables to hold the transactions and account details taking in to account Normalization, Network traffic generated during peak hours
1.3.5 Variating business rules and the server application to implement the current business rules, and provision of altering them with a proper authority, Documentation:
A complete document based on the present methods, proposed methods, Functionality and there table level implementation, reports and there layout to be generated from the tables, testing data and testing methods, bug reporting and the action taken for rectifying the bug Installation procedure: Creation of database, initial data entry so as to start the transaction on-line in phased manner.
Program development.
A prototype of the proposed software with basic features was developed and demonstrated to convince the capabilities of the software. That prototype really fetched this job for me.
The project at present is in documentation stage. Once it is accepted by the bank, The development activity will be in the fast track. At present myself and my colleague are working with various objects which can be incorporated in the final application.
Powebuilder 5.0 will be used for application Development.

This University was established in April 96 and a objective type entrance test was to be carried out at all India level. We provided the necessary database solution (in foxpro).
Completed the following
Data entry application for appearing student Answer sheet design. Selecting and procuring the Optical mark reader (Scantron) Tuning the OMR software and reading the answers. Written a C program to compare the answers given by the student to the standard answers and give the marks to that question (all questions were not carrying equal marks. Prepared the merit list as per the guide lines given .

Drawing Automation using Lisp These programs were developed for Hallmark engineers Pune. Automated drawing of the truss with all the structural detailing taken from a text file. Drawing development of pipe bends so as to cut them from a flat sheet, various types.
Structural design Being a structural engineer written C programs for matrix analysis of a truss with auto generation of node co-ordinates and member node relationship, various types of trusses with complete freedom to load or restrict any node. Analysis and design of tall chimney for various flume temperatures ,wind and corrosion factors done in Visual basic. As a guide to the final year students in engineering college helped students to write programs for analysis and design of various structural members steel or RCC in language of their choice( FORTRAN, Pascal, Qbasic, Visual basic)
