RAMBLINGS ABOUT ME
My name is Beth Holly Young Checkovich.
I am 44 years old, born in September on the first day of autumn,
the 23rd. This makes me a Libra, but on rare occasions, I can
be a Virgo.
My heritage is German, English, and Swedish, and I married a man
who is German and Russian. His name is Peter George Checkovich.
I was born in Abingdon, Pennsylvania, but moved to Virginia when
I was 6 years old. I have lived in Virginia ever since.
Currently, my husband and I are living in Winchester, Virginia.
If you look at Virginia as a triangle, Winchester is at the top
of the triangle.
We have two daughters who were both born in Winchester.
Holly Ann Checkovich is 22 years old, born in December, and graduated with honors from the McIntyre School of Commerce
at the University of Virginia (Charlottesville)with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Holly was also her high school's valedictorian. Holly studied hard for the CPA exam and passed the first time this past November. She has been working for Price Waterhouse Coopers as a auditor in Northern Virginia.
Stephanie Paige Checkovich is 20 years old, born in September, and has finished her junior year at Mary Washington
College (Fredericksburg). She is majoring in Business Administration with a strong emphasis on Human Resource Management. She has been working for the last three summers at O'Sullivan Inc., which has been an excellent preparation for her approaching career.
Is it obvious that I am very proud of both my girls?
