WHY A RATIONAL VIEW OF CREATION IS ESSENTIAL TO THE CHRISTIAN FAITH

CREATION IS TRUTH
The first verse of the Holy Bible (Genesis 1:1) states that "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" (KJV). God said it, I believe it, and that settles it for me.

CREATION REVEALS THE NATURE OF GOD
The recognition of the power of God to create the heavens and the earth reveals to the Christian the very nature of God. Creation was according to God's will and wisdom.

DANGERS OF SELECTIVE BELIEF
If we alter the fact of Creation, we have become selective in our beliefs of Scripture. This creates a dangerous tendency of selecting only those portions of Scripture that we choose to believe.

MISCONCEPTIONS
There is a popular misconception that evolution is the proper scientific explanation for the origins of the universe and mankind. In reality, science substantiates Creation. Evolution is an unfounded theory.
