A hypercube is a 4d object.
It is our 3d cube extended in the direction
of the fourth dimension.
The above colored drawing is a 2 dimensional
depiction of a hypercube.
These are 3d looking 2d drawings
of hypercubes.
Notice the one on the left.
It is like 2 normal cubes(one smaller, one
larger) which are connected at the corners. Note that each cube are in
different 3d dimensions and they would be connected through the 4th dimension.
The one on the right, is a 2 different cubes(of
the same size).
They are in different 3d dimensions.
Note that the diagonal lines connecting them
go through the fourth dimension
These are 3d slices of the
whole 4d hypercube
Note that a 4d object is composed of several
3d objects "stacked" on one another in the direction of the 4th dimension.
Beginning at the first section, and going to the last, that is what you
would get if you were to cut a hypercube into consecutive 3d slices.
This link will take you to a java program where you manipulate hypercubes!
