A long term science fiction and fantasy fan, I was somewhat surprised to find a television programme that I watched as a teenager occupying my thoughts more and more often. I spent years trying to find other people who had heard of The Tomorrow People and in the process found out that the programme I remembered (made in 1992-1995 by Thames Television, Tetra productions and Nickleodeon) was a remake of an earlier 1970's series created by Roger Price and made by Thames television between 1973 and 1979.
When I finally got online, I discovered an entire community of people who remembered and enjoyed the show, a community largely bound together by Wendy's mailing lists TPDIS for discussion and TPFICT for fan fiction (see also, the Galactic Federation Communications Hub). I also discovered a number of excellent websites dedicated to the series including Jackie's Tomorrow People Scrapbook, the Lab and the Tomorrow People Episode Guide. Anyone interested in The Tomorrow People is encouraged to look at those sites.
In these pages I dont try to repeat anything done better elsewhere but I thought it was time to pull together the few Tomorrow People pages I've put together over the last few years into a slightly more organised form.
The Tomorrow People were created by Roger Price and the series is owned by Thames Television and Freemantle Media. DVDs of the series are distributed in the UK by Revelation Films and in the US by A&E Home Entertainment. Dave Johnson's TP font was used to make the title image.
