Welcome to the Hakka Tree, a site that aims to provide cultural information about the Chinese, especially the Hakka people who are famous for their hill songs and their contribution to Chinese culture.
Being of Hakka origin but born outside of China, I started searching for more information about my roots about six years ago. At the time, I had created this site to help me in my search. Today, this site has become a collection of my experiences in my journey towards better understanding my Hakka background.
