Introduction
A little about us...
Ken Saumure
Born in Canada but living
in California for the past five years, Ken is an
electrical engineer employed in the field of satellite
communications. He currently heads the product management
and support group at Tiernan Radyne ComStream in San
Diego. He has been flying since 1984 and holds Canadian
commercial airplane multi-engine with a class 1
instrument rating endorsed for alternate category -
helicopter and the US equivalent ratings limited to
private pilot privelages. As well, he holds an FAA
repairman's certificate for Exec162F N162KS. He has
approximately 900 hours of total flight experience. His
hobbies include music, aviation and art. Ken is 35 years
old and still has no idea to what he wants to do.
Todd Maccini
Todd is a native
Californian who currently resides in Ramona, California.
Todd is a fully licensed automotive and heavy machinery
mechanic with over 10 experience in the field. In
addition, Todd has worked as an aircraft mechanic while
building hours toward his A&P certification. He is an
accomplished electrician and welder. Among many
of his hands-on accomplishments, Todd has designed and
built the 4.5-acre ranch home in which he currently lives.
Todd holds an FAA student pilot certificate and has
approximately 100 hours of helicopter flight time. His
hobbies include music, avaition and motorsports racing.
Todd is 30 years old and aspires to be a helicopter pilot
for the San Diego Sherrif's Department.
