ETHEL EVELYN WOODNUTT
Born - 22th July 1899 at 13 First Avenue, Inchicore, S.C.R., Dublin.

Father -
Albert Rufus Woodnutt.

Went to school at Golden Bridge School, Inchicore, Dublin.

Her brother Ernest was a member of the I.R.A. during the Troubles. Ethel was sent to their Aunts with his gun and ammunition at the bottom of a basked of eggs at one stage when their next door neighbour, who was in the D.M.P. tipped them off that the house was about to be raided.Ethel also did some sowing for the I.R.A.

Married - Robert Bouch on 22th July 1928 at St. Agatha`s Church, North William St., Dublin.
The two had met through the "Ierne" Bike Club.

Lived at 5 Court Town Terrace (later changed to 29 Susanville Rd.), Drumcondra, Dublin, when first married. Moved to 45 Munster St., Phisborough, Dublin, in 1965/66 after Robert retired, which had belonged to Robert`s brother Harry when he was alive. (Cathline Kennedy was a sitting tenant in the up stairs flat when it was bought, but moved out when she returned to England in 1975/76.) Moved to Room 10, Assisi House (Retirement home), Navan Rd. Dublin 7, in 1984.

Died - Wednesday 30th March 1993 (aged 93) at Assia House, of Myocardial Infraction sudden, Coronary Thrombosis sudden, Generalised Atherosclerosis (thickening of the arteries) 2 years.
After her midday lunch she went to her room to lie down. At about 4.45pm a nurse went to call her for her tea and found her lying back on her bed dead. Her stick and hand bag were beside her as if she were about to go up for her tea and had just lain back for a moment.

Buried - Friday morning 2nd April at St. Paul`s Section of Glassnevin Cemetery, Dublin.

Robert (Bob) Bouch

Born - 25th March 1900 at 26 Lr. Patricks Rd., Drumcondra, Dublin.

Father - John Bouch a watch maker originally from Carlisle, Cumberland, England.

Originally baptised a Protestant (church of Ireland) at Mark St. Church, Dublin but was re-baptised a Catholic after his fathers death.

Went to school at St. Patrick`s National, Drumcondra, Dublin.

He began his working carrier, at 14 years of age, as a Telegram Messenger (on a bike). Later he became a Telephone Engineer working first in the telephone exchange in Crown Alley, Dublin, then was promoted to work on the Dublin/Wicklow lines (outside). He was finally promoted to an Inspector in the Post Office (Telephone engineering section).He also taught telephone engineering part time in Kevin St. College, Dublin.

Died - Early Saturday Morning 30th June 1979 at 45 Munster St. Brought to church Sunday 1st July.
Buried - Monday morning 2nd July at St. Paul`s Section of Glassnevin Cemetery, Dublin.
