Using your text, in-class library, LMC, CD ROMS, and Internet sites, complete the following tasks:
One (1) person is to do the classification overview for the entire group:
1. The overall general distinguishing characteristics of the phylum.
2. The number of classes (with representatives of each) , and total number of species in each of the classes, general characteristics of each class
3. Relationships / similarities to other animal groups
4. Present 3 or more pictures of organisms representative of your group. You may use poster drawings, slides, overhead transparencies, or computer images.
All other members of your group select a class and research the following topics:
1. General physical characteristics ; representative species
2. Habitat (address)
3. Discuss the ecological niche (occupation in the environment), and manner of feeding.
4. Manner of reproduction, number of offspring, life cycle,...
5. Economic importance: as a food, crop pest, disease agent, parasite
6. Unique features: endangered species, pollution sensitive, symbiotic relationships,...

· Your paper should follow the above outline format using each area as a heading.
· The final write-up of all the research is due the next day after your group's presentation.
· Each paper is to be typed and two to three pages in length.
· A bibliography (typed) citing five or more references is required for each paper. They should not all be from the same type of media source.
